2000 Mules (2022)
Watched in Online
Biden came to Arizona to campaign. Only six people showed up. The only cars were the Secret Service protecting him. Trump came 4 times each time over 20,000 . Drop boxes were all over cameras disconnected, nothing working. No observers were allowed and there were empty parking lots with 2000 registered voters using their addresses.
Yes this movie did the impossible, tracked cell phone data and captured people placing in false ballots. Some were even wearing gloves and looking around really guilty. Why sell out your country. Where else can you go? Canada? Australia? Mexico?
We are the last of the free world. Thanks Dinesh. Great Movie.
An Interview with God (2018)
This is a unbelievably great movie.
No way to discover this movie unless you actually watch all of it. The acting could not be better, the NYC location works nicely and the story is low key and though provoking. Everyone will love this movie.
Jake and the Giants (2015)
Jake and the Giants New Animation From Boat Angel Family Films
Thank you for taking the time and reviewing Jake and the Giants the first international theatrical animation release from Boat Angel Outreach Center Family Films. Jake is an exciting story about a young boy from the village of Shiloh who tries to prevent Giants from kidnapping his family. Overwhelmed by the size of the giants Jake and Joanie set out with their small dog to rescue their parents and the other villagers from the Giant's goldmine far up on the mountain. The theme of the film is "You are never too small." The soundtrack is full of catchy songs produced by Ken Mary. The voice of Jake is done by Debi Derryberry famous for voicing Jimmy Neutron and could not be better. The cast and characters make this a perfect film for the young and young at heart. We think you will love Jake and the Giants.
Under the Bridge (2011)
NIce Independent Film from Mesa Arizona
It was great being part of this film Under The Bridge after all not that many films are made in Mesa Arizona and this one made right down the street had all the elements of a truly independent production. It had the aging movie star Joe Estevez (uncle to Charlie Sheen) doing a bit role and some great young talent from those who are looking forward to having long and prosperous careers in the movie industry.
The locations in Arizona speak for themselves, it is no wonder so many productions have come to Arizona to film it is a breathtaking state. The cast and crew on Under The Bridge could not have been nicer. The locations - Old hospital, high school closed for Spring Break , under bridge location were all impressive. What I am looking forward to on this film is the final soundtrack by a great musician. The premise a homeless girl challenges a chess player for the city tournament championship is not totally unique but it is not overplayed either. Don't know how this film got bad votes when it is not even released yet.
Courageous (2011)
Nice Film for the family
Dad's do a world of good and can also do a world of harm to the sons and daughters they raise. This film takes a long look at parents in a serious way. The film moves at a great clip the acting is nice the set design nice and the music nice as well. Some of the story is a bit disjointed but most flows quite well. You actually find yourself caring about the characters. I have seen many of the films like Father of the Bride which examine father daughter issues and films like Mommie Dearest which cover the traumas of growing up with a mental mother but this film actually gives concrete advice on how to be a father. Spending time with your son or daughter is important getting down to their level. Also realizing that being a father is not only about bringing home the funds to get a roof over their heads and food on the table but quality of life passing to a young person those things that really matter. Is it the overtime the new car fancy vacation or an hour in the park tossing a baseball or reading to your daughter.
Letters to God (2010)
Great Film by a Great Producer
This is a very touching story. How does a family cope with a diagnosis of cancer. Where is God?
Where is the hope? This film answers that with a terrific ending. Mr Nixon has done a great job again. This is a great way to reach kids who have no hope. This is filmed in a great location. This is presenting in a truthful way. This is a good Christian film. This helps people believe that God is merciful Where is the hope? This film answers that with a terrific ending. Soul Surfer (2011)
Terrific Film with Terrific Surfing
I have watched a lot of surfing movies over the years but nothing as captivating as Soul Surfer. The acting is terrific but the locales make you want to move to Hawaii. In most sports based movies you expect the star of the film to win. It is sort of a given. However, this movie expertly sets the viewer up for another kind of win. Not just a trophy or a magazine cover but a win that takes the viewer done the road in his or her personal struggles. There is a lot of talk about faith based film but this film isn't really about faith it is about how to get up when you are down and make a difference. I have always been a big fan of Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt especially her performance in Castaway with Tom Hanks but she plays the mom in this film with perfection and although I never though of Dennis as a surfer like Patrick Swayze he does his part as the girls father and couch perfectly. I went to the film expecting something good but I came away from the film having experienced something great.
Sugar Baby (2011)
Tremendous Film Great Independent feature
Boat Angel Film funds all their productions from the sale of donated boats and uses the funds to produce movies. This is their eleventh film and it will not disappoint anyone. It is a finalist in the Worldfest the world's largest film festival in 3 categories. It took over a year to film edit and score and the results are worth it. Lush textures incredible action support a solid story line of homeless children taking care of others while reaching for their dreams. inspired by the true story of Ric Timas and Vincently Brantley writers of Cool it Now and Count me Out for Bobby Brown and New Edition the story will hit home with teenagers searching for their way in life. Don't miss it.
Shipwrecked Adventures of Donkey Ollie (2007)
Nice Children's Animated Feature
Directed by Douglas Aberle out of the Will Vinton camp up in Portland Oregon Shipwrecked lacks nothing. This is a children's adventure that has it all sharks, dolphins, pirates, bandits and the most lovable donkeys that have ever graced the screen. Some of the favorite songs are "I think I'll roast a donkey." "Welcome to My Island" "wedding Song" and the Elvis style "Dolphin Song" complete with Seaweed wigs. The animation is old style CG meant to resemble the claymation that was made famous by Will and the crew that brought the world "The California Raisins" "Gary and Mike" and Eddie Murphy's "The PJ's" . This film never got the theatrical release it truly deserved but has made up for it by being broadcast in over 70 countries and weekly into hundreds of millions of homes. This is truly a delight to children everywhere.
