Servant: Donut (2022)
Losing Patience
A fairly predictable episode in the sense of you knew TV woman was going. I suppose I'm more interested in the development of Dorothy and her questioning what happened the previous year, the looking back at her diary and seeing empty pages whereas the mystery of the servant herself feels a bit meh - probably because that piece of the puzzle feels so dragged out I've kind of lost interest.
Sweet Tooth (2021)
Pretty looking but has a major identity crisis
Starts with promise but by episode 4 it's a NO. I'm not sure what this show is trying to be? It reminded me of when those ewoks showed up in Star Wars, any audience over 12 years old let out a collective groan when they appeared and this is much the same with the talking animals. There are beautiful sets but the script is just too cheesy mixed with some random darkness. Also Bambi boy is just way too annoying.
Your Garden Made Perfect (2021)
Does it never rain in England??
Designs are gimmicky and mostly impractical, a bit drawn out, not a patch on its sister show: Your Home Made Perfect, would be better if it was 30 mins and how about showing us some of these gardens in the rain? One couple spent 20 grand and they didn't even get a covered area to sit out in the rain. I also laughed when the designer said she didn't want to distract from the lovely view and her design had all these ugly pipes and upright posts everywhere, like that isn't distracting!
Challenger: The Final Flight (2020)
Politics and Science = Disaster
A pretty good representation of the disaster waiting to happen however I think they could of said more about the reasons why the bigwigs at NASA felt so pressured to stick to schedule. Some have said the NASA brass wanted to give Ronald Reagan a talking point in his State of the Union speech, scheduled later the same day as it was Reagan's idea to put a teacher up in space, there could definitely be a series along the lines of Chernobyl illustrating the money and political influences and the "small but knowledgeable" guy not being listened to.
Game of Thrones: Winterfell (2019)
No more secrets
Time for various characters to face up to their or related past actions (good or bad) and it is satisfying to see some of the revelations occur in this first episode of the final series.
