Fourth of July (2022)
Not great
When I watch something made by Louis CK I expect absurdity and humor, along the lines Tomorrow Night or his TV show Louie (which are some of the greatest things I ever saw).
That´s not what we can find in Fourth of July: a depressing movie with poor directing/acting, meaningless lines, empty characters and boring plots. Filled with unnecesary scenes and some serious continuity errors. The best parts are the ones that involved Jeff with his Therapist, bringing absurdity to the story. Overall, it´s another mediocre indie movie. I hope the next one is about the Therapist, that would have more potential.
Billions: No Direction Home (2021)
Worst episode of all time
Wtf happened here? Horrible writting and horrible directing, 70% of the time the characters end the scene looking at each other so awkwardly that it's painful to watch. The story went down hill, I think I will give it a holy burial. This show is dead to me.
Hogar (2020)
I can´t believe they made this movie
It´s the story about a guy that is going downhill career and family wise, so he has to sell their upscale apartment in order to get financial relief. For some reason, he keeps a copy of the keys and the next owner doesn´t change the locks. That´s when the movie takes an unexpected turn that involves visits of our protagonist into his old house, going around the residence taking dumps and eating cereal. Long story short, he manage a way to get psycho and destroy the family in order to get his precious house again. Somehow in the middle of the movie a pedophile gardener blackmails our protagonist. This movie is truly unbelievable. Whatch it for the laughs.
Un buen día (2010)
Greatest Movie Ever Made
What if I tell you there is a movie that is capable of gather hundreds of people each month and it has incredible replay value? I think you will ask, is this movie at the level of "The Godfather" or "Taxi Driver"? Not exactly. Is the movie script flawless? I'm pretty sure not. Is the music captivating? Not at all. Is the acting good? Definitely not.
Does all of this make a good movie? You'll have to see it for yourself in order to believe it.
I will only tell you that after watching Un Buen Día your life will change forever. Have a good day.
