They released this movie on DVD last month (June '04). I can not find it in stores, and I do not want to buy it used because I want it to get credit for getting bought at Best Buy or Suncoast or some other place like that. I think it can be ordered online though. Suncoast.com has it for sure. I just looked as I was writing this. Did you know the opening theme, that violin opening.. is an opening that goes to a Deep Purple song called "Perfect Strangers." Except they cut the part out just before it starts to rock out. I was just told I needed to put 10 lines in a comment for some strange reason, so here it is.. line number 10.

This movie was 19 years in the making. Ever since 1984 when Freddy was introduced, every one has always had conversations about who would win in a fight between Freddy and Jason. Freddy VS. Jason proves to be a greater fight movie since Rocky or Fight Club. People were hooping, oohing, ouching, laughing, and cheering in the theater I was at. The expressions at certain discoveries that Freddy has on his face as he fights Jason are great. The things Jason does to Freddy make you grit your teeth and moan in pain for Freddy. They both whip up on each other pretty hard while eliminating the immoral and irresponsible teenagers in the movie. If you do not know the histories of these two characters, there is nothing to worry about.. this film has that covered in great and very interesting detail also. But of course if you want to know how this movie turns out, you will have to see for yourself. I give this movie 100 stars.

Its all set up situations

I love the CKY DVDs, they are hilarious. But its all acting, and set up situations. Like the football hitting the car.. those people are acting. The sh*t dollar... did you notice how fake the guys reactions were, over acting? And he never returned to the ATM machine to get his money.
Some of the stunts they do, that dont really involve people are real, like when Rab walked up to the window and did his business on the window.. that was funny and disgusting at the same time. Oh and the scene in the parking lot at night where that one dude beat up the parking lot attendant was faked. Bam sets up the camera in order to get a shot of himself saying, "Why would you say NO after it was already done?" in CKY2 or 3.. And in the car you can see Bam holding the camera up making sure to have everybody in the frame. Its a great set of DVDs and I cant wait for more, but be aware its not all as real as they want you to believe it is.

I think this was Ivan's and Akroyd's versin of GHOSTBUSTERS 3. Ive read on several sites, and the official ghostbuster site how Akroyd and Ivan got very upset at SONY because SONY was giving them a hard time with the script, so they walked. It's funny how this movie comes out at about the time Ghostbusters 3 was supposed to be out, and it had 3 main people, 4 counting the red headed actress.. and they replaced the proton packs with guns and a fire engine.

Anybody who criticizes this movie as horrible, or ridiculous.. is themselves ridiculous. What could you expect from a movie about a huge walking lizard that is bigger than buildings? Why on earth would you walk into the movie thinking you were going to get reality? I cant get over my frustration with morons who constantly criticize fantasy/fiction films. GODZILLA offered exactly what all the hype said it would offer. It was a big bang action flick with a huge walking lizard. Expect "Gone With The Wind" you are just an idiot. I suspect most of the people who criticized this film really liked it, but are too jealous of somebody elses cool idea and success that they have to cut them down. Either that or they are trying to hard to be a film critic.. which is just a worthless job so why be one?

I love how obnoxious Short makes Glick. I think its hilarious how these celebrities come on this show and get pretty much disrespected and sometimes ridiculed. It's great. I can't wait to buy the DVD. I like Shorts exaggerated laughs, and how he jumps up in the chair. There are so many funny things about this show, you should check yer listings to find out when it comes on.

Charles Grodin, De Niro , and Josh Ashton make a terrific and hilarious trio. Charles Grodin's humorous skeptimism of De Niro's professionalism is hilarious. The scene while they are getting chased by the helicopter is outstanding. I love how they are all screaming, then you hear Ashton comment that maybe the helicopter is gone, and you hear Grodin reply, "Oh Im sure we're perfectly safe" in a very dry and disapointed tone is SO FUNNY. On a scale of 1 - 10, this movie breaks the meeter and goes to an 11.

All Jason movies are fun to go watch with friends and have a good time. Anybody who walks into this film or any Jason (or Freddy or Michael movie) and starts to criticize it may just want to choose NOT to even bother with any of these types of fun movies that are not supposed to be taken seriously. I think that JASON X was pretty much the same as all the other Jason films... Horny immoral teenagers get punished by a guy that was neglected when he was a child. His neglection has feuld his rage towards the camp (teeny bopper) counselors SO MUCH, that it has kept him alive to punish all teeny boppers more concerned with their hormones than the safety of kids (notice that he took sympathy on the kids in Jason 6). Except in Jason X, he just got an awesome look at the end. And anybody who just can't stand these movies, would really like the end part of this movie, because the producers/director also make fun of their own movie in a way that critics may find amusing. If they stop at Jason X, it's been an entertaining ride, and if they continue to make these movies, I'll continue paying for popcorn at these shows. Let me to go off on a tangent... think of this .. a movie that parents WILL NOT take their kids to, or would not see themselves.. ONLY gets the numbers of the people who would see the movie or are allowed to see the movie.... BUT.. movies that parents WOULD NOT want to see (like some kids movie or Disney flick) are going to get the numbers of the kids tickets (which are many) plus the parents or the Adults who have to buy a ticket also who normally wouldn't buy a ticket. Think of that next time box office numbers fly up on certain movies.
