Love this film!!!
11 April 2024
I absolutely adored this film. I watched this movie with my dad on Amazon several weeks before his passing and he raved about this movie afterwards. He loved the actresses, and he really enjoyed some of the twists and turns. I for one love this movie because of the editing, and the directing. What an amazing idea and execution. As you watch this film you truly begin to believe that you are actually following these people who seem very real. I liked all of the what looked like handheld camera work, and some of the natural situations and behaviors of the actors as if they might have channel their only emotions and add a little bit. Really good movie with a great twist ending. Well worth watching.

Nail biting
11 April 2024
I love these kinds of contained thrillers. I found this nailbiting. I constantly was wondering what was going to happen next and who would be the next one to suffer consequences. Great job! Great acting. Great ending! Kudos to the writing and directing. The editing was excellent as well. And I loved the sound because in movies like this, the sound is everything.

Also, the set design and location added to the suspense intention of the film, as well as the situation where the characters are brought together only to experienced horrors they had never expected to experience in their everyday lives.

Mistletoe Connection (2023 TV Movie)

A wonderful Holiday love story
27 November 2023
I am not one for Christmas movies, but this has to be one of the best Christmas stories I have ever seen. From the moment the movie begins, it is already good. You are immediately taken right into the story. The acting is superb. The movie is perfectly cast. The main character, Kate is a well-rounded character that seems familiar, and the male lead is extremely humble but good looking. You can feel the chemistry between them. Not only that, the side characters are also very well cast and well rounded. The relationship between the best friend, Josie, and Paul, the musician is also very realistic and sweet. I must say that I felt emotional through most of the story. It is very realistic, and everyone can relate to it. We all love a "Christmas miracle".

The Best of the original cast series
30 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Growing up in the late 60s and 1970s Star Trek was always a staple on television. It wasn't long before I was able to walk, and decide what I want to see on TV before I was a huge Star Trek fan, watching and re-watching the original series over and over again. Imagine my excitement at the age of 14 when Star Trek The Motion Picture made its debut .. my whole family went to the theater and when it came out on home box office, my dad and I watched it over and over. It was never my favorite of the movies but it was spectacular on a grand scale. When The Wrath of Khan appeared on the scene, I was a senior in high school. That was the best Star Trek movie up to that point. It truly captures the essence of the original series and Ricardo Montalban was epic in that film. A true villain. A perfect adversary for Kirk. Then The Search for Spock came out. I never remember that movie being a favorite of mine but when I watch it now, as a grown adult, I appreciate it much much more. After the death of Spock in Star Trek II, It really centers on the friendship of the close-knit bridge crew, Kirk, McCoy, Scottie, Chekhov, and Uhura. The Voyage Home is on my list of favorites but it's not in the top two. It's a standalone if you will, and you don't have to be a Star Trek fan to enjoy it. It's a fun time travel movie with lots of funny jokes and plays on words. All the acting is wonderful and they did a great job with that one. I recommend it even if you don't know a Star Trek. Then came Star Trek V, The Final Frontier.. enough said. However, the gym of the entire series is Star Trek six the owner discovered country. This is two movies in one. First You have the Star Trek story with all of the original cast on a diplomatic mission, and then suddenly its a "WHODUNNIT" in space.. with Spock and the crew Racing against time to solve the mystery and save Kirk and McCoy. It's nonstop from Star to finish and it never gets boring. Iman is fantastic as the shape shifter.. there's even a little cameo by Christian Slater. I highly recommend the undiscovered country and its parallels to present day. You won't be disappointed. It's a wonderful send off for the original cast.

A very dismal representation of our time
5 April 2022
I think the show is fantastic and I've been a fan for my entire life but I do not agree at all with the way that our time (2024) is basically represented. It is not as bad as it was made out to be in the episode. The Guinan character is unrecognizable. Guinan would never be as cynical and negative as this Guinan is portrayed.

Columbo (1971–2003)

A Triumphant return to Columbo
13 February 2022
When it comes to the tride and true Colombo formula, leave it to Patrick McGoohan to bring that back to these reunion movies. This episode has Columbo behaving much like he did during the original run of the series. There are several episodes where it's almost as if Peter Falk is parodying himself playing himself playing Columbo. It's obvious As he aged that Peter Falk was having a bit too much fun with the character, but this episode is different. It could fit in with the original series.

One of the Best films ever
25 December 2021
The other review of this movie posted here is a crock. That's a person who did not get this movie at all. This movie was made for those three women who starred in it and acted perfectly. There are a lot of funny moments but for the most part you sit through the first wives club entertained and with a big smile on your face through the whole movie.

Great Show, Great writing, Great characters
8 December 2021
One of the best shows on television. The only other show I can think of to compare it to you as the Rockford files. It's Rockford files good. The relationship between Nas and Joe reminds me of myself and my best friend. The characters are grounded and real, and the storylines are always fun and interesting.

Hot Stuff (1979)

Hot Stuff Holds Up
8 September 2020
I saw this movie in the theater back in 1979 and it was always one that I remembered. There was quite a lot of laughs and fun humor from the gang, Dom DeLuise, Jerry Reed, and Suzanne Pleshette. Most of the costars were also well-known actors at the time who went on to continue to work for decades. Recently I purchased the DVD which recently became available and I watched it again. I left just as I did the first time back in 1979, plus it was fun to see everybody again in their prime. They've mostly long since passed away.. Dom DeLuise in 2009 died at the age of 75, Suzanne Pleshette in 2008 at the age of 71, and Jerry reed in 2008 at the age of 71.

This movie is fun, funny, and highly entertaining. Dom DeLuise as a director gave all of the actors the freedom to use their own styles which melded very well in this threesome of great actors. I rate this movie at 10. It's worth watching and it's worth owning. Enjoy!

Kids has so much freedom!
12 June 2020
Those were the days when kids in the sixth grade at bus passes. This movie is so much fun to watch because it brings you back to a time when kids were free and had responsibilities. It's not so much the plotline or what goes on in the movie that matters more than the fact that kids were the stars of the show. That's sad, it's a great story of a boy reconnecting with his dad after the loss of a mother. It's a Wonderful fantasy that keeps you smiling throughout.

Airport '77 (1977)

Totally underrated
10 April 2020
This Airport outing released in 1977 is my favorite of all of the Airport movies. As with the others, it was star studded, although this sequel had several more stars then the previous two. Also as with the other two, each could stand on its own. Airport 77 plays like a night time soap opera which was quite popular at the time. Characters are well-developed and entertaining. The premise, while far-fetched, gives the viewer that "it could happen" feeling. Some of the acting is over-the-top but that was par for the course for the time period and genre. This movie has everything from Mystery & Intrigue to drama to action to Comedy to tragedy. It's a Rollercoaster ride of laughter, fright, smiles & tears. My advice is to sit back and relax and enjoy this movie for what it is and try not to compare it too much with its predecessors, each different in their own right.

One of the very best!
26 November 2019
This Bond outing is one of the very best in the franchise. Bedides having one of the best Bond theme songs in the franchise written and performed by Paul McCartney and Wings, Live and Let Die boasts an array of interesting characters, played by some of the famous actors of the Era (Yaphet Koto, Jane Seymour, David Hedison, Jeffrey Holder and of course in the role he made his own, Roger Moore) . I enjoyed seeing New York City in the gritty early 70s. For a Bond movie, this one had an interesting story which is easy to follow and wildly entertaining. The best is that you need to be a bond fan to enjoy Live and Let Die.

Outstanding
23 August 2018
This Rockford come back is the best of the eight. It plays like a motion picture with a beginning, a middle, and an ending. You don't need to have been a Rockford fan or to have seen an episode of the original series to enjoy this teleplay.

One of my personal favorites
14 August 2018
This episode was a little off the beaten path for typical Rockford files. It requires a lot more thinking, and even on Jim's part. The World War II Nazi background story was interesting and also that it confusing names of suspects. I enjoyed the time element of the story.
