Nurse Jackie (2009–2015)

It gets a little old...

Yes, I watched all seasons. At first it was okay. It wasn't really funny, there are a few spots that I laughed. It got a little "broken record" for my liking. I am honestly glad that ended it because I was begining to hate Jackie. Everybody bent over backwards for her and she didnt care. I felt like she broke Zoey's spirit in the end. I honestly think they could have wrapped this up after a couple seasons. They didn't need to drag this on for this long.

Legion (2017–2019)

I just don't know!

Let me first start off with, I haven't read a comic so I am going into this without knowing the story. It was confusing and I had no idea what was happening. That being said, I was wanting to stop watching it but I couldn't bring myself to turn it off. So it has that going for it. To me, it was one of those shows that you don't know if you will like it or not. By the end of the show, it looked like it might get better. So I say so ahead and watch it. I will probably give it a couple more episodes before I throw in the towel. I only gave this a 7 because it was confusing and entertaining if that is a thing. Just give it a go and you will see what I am talking about.

Sword of Vengeance (2015)

I personally thought the idea was great, but the execution was random and not done very well or thought out. The effects were amazing, but this movie was really lacking in plot. There was so much that could have happened here, but they failed at it. I would like someone who could execute this movie well and be able to redo it. I think it would be worth the effort. The actors themselves weren't the problem. I think more the writing and the vision they had of this movie just didn't come across to everyone very well. If you find yourself bored I would say go ahead and watch it. It is one of those movies that makes you both love and still leaves you scratching your head and say, well...Maybe not LOVE it. That is the only reason I gave it a 7 and not less. The writing was poorly done in this movie.

Frog Kingdom (2013)

I was hoping for the best...

Let me start off saying that I had high hopes for this movie since there are some big names in here, but that's all. The animation was terrible. The mouths barely moved when they talked. Deja Vu, kind of like a bad kung fu movie. I could only watch it because of my friends 7-year-old, but even she didn't like it. Honestly if this was in the bargain bin at Wal-Mart for $1.00 I would feel I spent too much money on it. It was terrible and there was no hope to give it more than 1 star. There was just no redeeming qualities at all. I would say to pass this one up, but then again maybe for the very little ones they may enjoy it.

Mercenaries (2014)

Cheesy yes, but thats to best part!

I watched Mercenaries just because of Cynthia Rothrock and has always been my favorite martial artist, but her acting could improve. Okay improve A lot! That is the sole reason I gave this a 6. Although she really didn't have a good action role in this film, so let me change to a 5.I have always loved cheesy. Who doesn't like cheesy movies like Howard the Duck? No reason you do, you just do! There was a lot of terrible acting in this movie but who didn't think that when they saw it? My advice is watch is or don't, but don't go into it like you would a 'serious' movie. If you are bored, watch it. If not pick something else, or better yet. GO READ!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

Compare to old TMNT? Well here is the deal...

I gave this movie 7 out of 10 due to a few areas that needed changed. Now I have read all the reviews of everyone comparing to the original turtles and before seeing this movie, I was one of those. So when a family member bought it I thought, "Here is the chance to watch it without paying for something I may hate." Now taking that into consideration and that people seem to think Megan Fox can act. I mean come on (Transformers). She would of been a change I would of made. The CGI was okay but they made the turtles look weird. Their heads were really shaped to small. They looked like they would scare little kids. Splinter looked like he had a boars head. Not really rat looking IMO. Now the cons out of the way, I quite liked it other wise. Their was humor in the movie that you would see with TMNT. The CGI made the fight scenes awesome. They did make the turtles have super strength. I know die hard TMNT fans compare but really it is dated and with todays technology this seems more viable. So I suggest you watch it and make your own opinion about it. But go into it without comparing, this movie (Besides the things I stated above) deserves a chance.

Heaven Is for Real (2014)

Was not that impressed

Now, before I begin I am a Christian and believe 100% that something like this could happen. I read the book and loved it but the movie was lacking something. The storyline was there but was slow in starting and wasn't a very attention grabber movie that I was lead to believe. NOw not listening to all the "atheist" out there who like to see this as a "fantasy" movie. This review is from a Christian. I just thought this could of come together better then it did. I did give it 5 stars because of the story line. I am a firm believer that you should judge for yourself and not listen to reviews. Everyone thinks differently and will see this movie how ever they perceive it. On a side note: I am really glad I didn't waste money going to the theater although I watched On Demand and that was $4.99 to much!
