Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
One of the worst movies I've ever seen
Dawn of Justice is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I can't believe I watched it in IMAX and spent so much money on it.
"Ban' Affleck's Batman reminded me of Donald Trump. He wants to kill Superman simply because he is powerful and that there could be 1 percent chance that Superman wants to destroy humanity. Batman hates Superman because a building belonging to Wayne enterprises got destroyed when Superman was battling General Zod. However, he himself destroys buildings and public properties when he is trying to catch the 'bad guys'. So he has a problem with destruction of public properties by an alien and not with the destruction itself.
Batman only has nightmares and cannot get over his mommy and daddy issues. The movie implies that Batman mainly hates Superman because Batman does not have superpowers like Superman does. I haven't read too many graphic novels but I am quite certain that Batman does not suffer from an inferiority complex.
The villain, Lex Luthor, is a bad version of the psychotic villain played by Shahrukh Khan in Baazigar. He only wants to see Batman fight with Superman and his motives simply do not make sense. He does not look believable as a brilliant, intelligent man. He is more of a character out of Cartoon Network.
It seems like Ben Affleck did not get any time to use the restroom while filming this movie because he looks heavily constipated. Perhaps he should try Indian food. He only has a single expression on his face the whole time and does not really care about expressing his emotions (if he has any).
The main story seemed to be inspired from some cheap 90s Bollywood Movie. The Villain kidnaps the mother of one of the heroes to make the two heroes fight with each other. The two heroes start fighting and when one is about to kill the other (for no good reason), he realizes that the other guy's mother has the same name as his own mother. So he spares his life and the become brothers from another mother.
It seems like the whole movie was shot in North Pole during 6 months of darkness as one cannot see Sunlight during the movie. I understand Batman's connection with bats but that does not mean you have to keep showing bats no matter where he goes. He is Batman not bat's man.
There is no plot, the characters don't look believable at all and the direction is uninspiring. It is utterly boring and does not make any sense most of the times. Don't waste your money or time on this.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)
Not as expected
I watched the pilot episode, expecting something great. It was disappointing and some of the characters were more annoying than fun. People would expect something way better from Marvel. This is not a show I would follow for long.
The action was very limited and plot was not well presented. Overall, it looked like an attempt to cash in on the success of The Avengers. The show might improve itself over the weeks but I highly doubt it.
The actors were not convincing as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The writers have to work really hard at making the characters convincing, if they want it to be a successful show.
Deux frères (2004)
A great movie for all animal lovers
I came across this film on a TV channel today. I was definitely amazed by the style of film making and editing that one can see in the movie. It must have been hard to make the tigers portray such beautiful emotions. It is a feel good family movie with a great story line and excellent acting from all the lead actors, including the child and the tigers. The relationship between the two tigers, and their relationship with humans, mainly the hunter and the child have been wonderfully presented by the director.
I am an Indian and people in India are fighting to save the last remaining members of the 'Big Cat'. This movie is ideal for all tiger lovers and can be used in the campaign for saving tigers, to educate the masses about the pain and agony tigers go through, because of selfish human actions. It is one of the best movies I've seen.
Avatar (2009)
James Cameron The Visionary
I am a 23 yr old man and I can say that I am obsessed with watching movies and am a harsh critic of most of them. However I have not seen anything like this in my entire life. Avatar is the greatest movie of all time. Have there been any other movie in the history of cinema which deals with so many humane subjects at the same time ? American Imperialism and "Greed" is the root of all conflicts in the 21st century. Today it is war for Oil tomorrow something else. This movie clearly reflects the political scenario of the world as to how developed countries are living as parasites on the rest of the world destroying natural resources and involving in genocide of the masses. The concept of "Utopia" or a perfectly balanced world where every living and non-living organism is depending on each other for survival, living in peace and harmony, which is depicted in the movie is what people universally desire. Mr Cameron you are the Da Vinci of our time.
