Culprits (2023)
Loved it!
Sure, some plotholes, but nicely build up in terms of motivation. Acting, casting, production design and the world building were all top-notch. There was a recurring sense of how justice shows it self in a world of thieves and liars. I was impressed by how the show spans much of the globe. I was sucked in from start till end and saw all episodes in less than 24 hours. I love Gemma Arterton in everything she does and she shows herself in a very movie star capacity here. The lead Nathan Stewart-Jarrett was very convinxing and relatable and the supporting cast vas diverse and individual enought so that all their stories carried weight. Almost 10/10.
Eternals (2021)
The stuff of my dreams
I loved this n a big bad way. From the narrative, to the acting, to the cinamtography and the writing. To the spin on the group fighting icaris/superman. Loved it.
Elephant (2003)
Awesome.
I recently fell in love with Angels In America because of its' intelligence and humanity. And the same thing happened to me here ( I do not find any resemblance btween the two films except for the way they affected me). This film opened my eyes to the way we all are a part of a machine that makes us strive for excellence and belittle mediocrity and poorness. It shows the beauty in all the different students of the school and the fear I had of their (certain) deaths really made this movie one of the most gruesome experiences in my life.
The people who do not get his movie, I am very sorry for you: I had an almost divine experience and I, for one, take a lesson away from this: I can never be too kind or rather considerate towards my fellow man.
And one last thing that will probably get me flamed in here: Shame on you America for giving your citizens access to weapons of this kind. And to the one reviewer who said something about it not being possible to mail order automatic weapons, a huge shame on you, you are on this point, at least, 100% clueless.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
Impressive
-that I can still be moved by a movie the way I have just been moved.
I loved the images in a way that I have never felt before. This movie had an impact that brought me to joyful tears in certain scenes. Never thought that would happen, but it did and a big thank you goes out to the passionate madmen behind this experience.
Adjectives are overused but this movie deines the meaning of incredible.
