Bosch: Legacy (2022– )
9/10
You don't know how much we missed you Harry Bosch
3 November 2023
As a devoted fan of the original series, 'Bosch,' it's no secret that I eagerly anticipated the release of its second season, 'Bosch: Legacy.' While it might be easy to assume my review is influenced by my affinity for the series, I encourage both fans and newcomers to delve into the intricate world of Harry Bosch. If you're a fan of the detective and cop genre, 'Bosch' undoubtedly holds a special place among its peers.

Beyond the undeniable presence of Titus Welliver, whose portrayal of Harry Bosch is iconic, 'Bosch: Legacy' delivers much more than a familiar face. The series excels in its direction, skillfully unfolding events with accuracy while delivering thrilling moments that keep the audience captivated. The original series set a high bar in this regard, and 'Bosch: Legacy' follows suit seamlessly.

Having explored various detective and cop shows in the absence of 'Bosch,' diving into the first episode of the second season of 'Bosch: Legacy' felt like reuniting with an old friend. The return of Harry Bosch brought a rush of nostalgia and a reminder of what had been missing. The allure of the show is undeniable, and I'd willingly pay any price to keep experiencing the gripping narrative it presents.

Breath of fresh air...
21 September 2023
I stumbled upon this TV series on Reddit, where it was hailed as a must-watch, so I decided to give it a shot. Little did I know that it was directed by the talented Mike Flanagan. Now, as I sit here writing this review after completing episode 5 with just two more to go, I can wholeheartedly agree with one reviewer who aptly said, 'You don't know what you're going to miss if you don't watch this one.'

In an era flooded with mediocre TV content, this series truly feels like a breath of fresh air. What sets it apart, in my opinion, are the dialogues. Some have criticized the show for its lengthy conversations, but these dialogues hide crucial plot points that will profoundly impact the story. To fully appreciate this aspect, find a time when you can stay engaged without distractions, put away your phone, and immerse yourself in the dialogues. Trust me, the connections you'll uncover will make you forget about their length.

Furthermore, I must emphasize the top-notch production quality, cinematography, and sound design. This series deserves your undivided attention, and if you give it the respect it deserves, I'm confident it won't disappoint you.

What's up with all the negativity
15 September 2021
39, Male, and I have watched a lot of movies. A LOT. I almost missed this one due to all the negative comments here, and I'm glad that I read a couple of positive reviews and took my chances due to the strong cast. It was so engaging from start to finish, and even if you're a non science fiction fan, you'll like it.

Definitely will watch a second time, and people, ignore the critics and go watch this masterpiece.

A disappointment

Continuous shaky camera. Too long. I was literally looking away more than half of the time. I myself a huge fan of space explorations, but I honestly couldn't bare this even though I get the intention of the director. People, do yourself a favor and buy/ rent Apollo 13 and watch it again.

Waste of time
5 July 2010
I'll summarize since it is late night. It's one of the movies with bad acting (except Johnny), bad screenplay and bad directing with lots of low graded funny events that I couldn't laugh. The movie could have been so much better than this. Animations are pretty decent, can't compare with major titles, but I'm sure your kids will love it. But if you're a movie lover, I would recommend to skip this.

I'm giving an average of 5 out of 10. Without Johnny's pretty acting I might it lower to a 4.

Come on guys, at least watch 'Star Dust' before making this kind of movies In the future.

An excellent piece of art!
7 February 2010
Well..I don't write reviews. I often vote for the movies I watch, but usually not jump in to reviews, and I have to mention that I don't understand Spanish, I watched it using subtitles with original language spoken (which I don't like at all, but just watched it anyway because it had some good ratings here) I'm writing this because this one deserves it.

Just watched it. From the very beginning I forgot that I can't understand a single word they speaking. The movie glued me into it so that I can't get my eyes out of it. At first, I thought its a same old story a person looking for his wife's murderer 30 years later. Sooner the movie turned in to a masterpiece by attaching romance, humour and mystery/thriller into it.

The plot is well executed, casting was excellent, camera angles were directed 100% accurately to express the sadness, humor, fear and romance of different situations of characters. Every single frame constructed towards the final decision of the movie, as in missing a frame would result in a loss of information, and I think that final result beats the endings of Shawshank Redemption, The Usual Suspects which I liked most. Also I think this still underrated at 8.5.

If you still didn't watch it due to the language problem or any other concern, please watch it immediately. It's an excellent piece of art!
