Pretty awful

Marvel and Netflix are on a roll with below average series. The main issue is with the lead guy. His acting is very poor and every time the guy comes on screen I feel the need to skip scenes. A minor gripe I have, is that they also tried to rip some elements from Kungfu in terms of weaving past experiences with present day. But the worst part is that they have not cast a competent martial artist for such a role. Some of the action scenes are OK, but it is easy to see that they have an action double. Only saving grace was the unique way in which they have portrayed the hand. Jessica Jones was equally bad. I will write a separate review for that one. Skip this.

Great..

With a bounty on their heads, outlaws take refuge in a pastors family home for the night. The pastors wife is a god fearing lady with one lovely daughter and another not so lovely daughter. The youngest daughter fancies the gang leader as expected and decides to follow her heart than stay with her family. The film is edgy and quite entertaining (I felt) but bit rough around the edges. It reminded me of Quentin Tarantino flick. Loved the performances from all characters. Its funny at times and with good supporting cast. Only downside would be the bounty hunters who just don't have a meaningful role, and a passable performance from Luke Wilson.
