Jason Bourne (2016)
Give it a chance....
A lot of people are down on this movie, that it's not as good as the others in the series, but I think it's still worthy of going to the theater to see this movie. Give it a chance, it's hard to continuously raise the bar in anything and the Bourne movie series is no exception. Sometimes I think you can go too far in trying to surpass the previous movie in the series. Overall, the action is good, Tommy Lee Jones is good, and as always Matt Damon is good. It would have been nice to see more of Julia Stiles, but it was still great to see her in this gritty action flick. I thought Jason Bourne was well worth the price that I paid for the ticket.
Star Trek Beyond (2016)
Star Trek Beyond
I have been going to the theater to see Star Trek movies since Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan came out in 1982. While this latest release does not capture the magic that The Wrath of Khan did, it is still good addition to the Star Trek series. My 32 year old son went with me and he felt it was a pretty good movie as well. Some scenes were a borderline rehashing of previous movies, like setting in which McCoy and Kirk sharing a drink for his birthday, there is still plenty of originality. We though the concept of how the alien attackers boarded the Enterprise was one such example. We also liked the character of Jaylah and pondered the possibility that she could become part of the next installment, they certainly paved the way for her return.
I must admit though, months ago when I first learned that Simon Pegg was going to pen the script for this movie I was pretty skeptical, but after seeing it I give it two thumbs up. Sure it could have been better....but it could have been a whole lot worse too. We liked this movie and think that most other Trekkie's will too!
10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)
Great movie that keeps you thinking!
This was a fantastic movie that keeps you thinking back and forth about a couple of things right to the very end. Is John Goodman's character a good guy or a creep? Was there or wasn't there a chemical, nuclear, or biological attack? Is the other dude that is down there with them on the level or is he in with Goodman's character? I sat there and kept going back and forth, being teased as well as entertained throughout the entire movie. And I felt for Mary Elizabeth Winstead's character the whole time. What is she to believe and what should she do? And then just when you think you've figured it out and you think the movies over...boom! Out of nowhere comes a shocker of a twist that you're not really expecting. This movie is thought provoking, intense at times, and it might even make you jump a couple of times! Great fun and well worth the price of a ticket!
The Hateful Eight (2015)
Simply Tarantino!
I had been looking forward to seeing this movie for some time, simply because it was a Quentin Tarantino film. So, I had about three hours to kill this morning and I went to see it. I was not disappointed! It had all the trimmings of a Tarantino film that I have come to enjoy since Reservoir Dogs. I really appreciate how he utilizes actors and actresses with a wealth of talent and experience, and this movie is no exception. Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and the great Bruce Dern all bring their characters to vivid life...and death.
Some people are no doubt going to be offended by the content of this film. One person walked out of the showing this morning, but I think that most moviegoers are aware of Tarantino's style and are going into the theater knowing full well what to expect. And remember, it's only a movie, it's not meant to offend, it's meant to entertain. And entertain it does! My only knock against this film is it's length as it is almost three hours long and in our theater there was no intermission. However, I understand that some theaters do offer an intermission while showing this enjoyable film. Enjoy!!!
Daddy's Home (2015)
A very funny movie!
"Daddy's Home" was a very enjoyable movie to watch! The mix of polar opposites Will Ferrell and Mark Walhberg was almost perfect. Ferrell plays the wimpy, goody two-shoes husband who is desperately trying to keep his wife and step-kids together as a family. Wahlberg plays the charismatic and tough guy ex-husband/biological father looking to win back his family at almost any cost. The beautiful Linda Cardellini plays Sara the wife/ex-wife who is caught in the hilarious tug of war between her two suitors. While the plot is somewhat predictable, the humor is fresh and so very enjoyable! If you're looking for an hour and a half of laughs, look no further and go see this enjoyable movie. However, you might want to leave the younger kids at home for this one because of sexual innuendo and language.
Point Break (2015)
If you're going to remake a movie like Point Break, do it right.
While one shouldn't compare remakes to the originals, it's almost impossible to do. I have enjoyed the original Point Break countless times since it's release in 1991. It had flare, originality and style of a Kathryn Bigelow directed movie. But most of all the characters had charisma and the cast that played those characters brought that to life. Gary Busey, Lori Petty, and Keanu Reeves, all had an unmistakable on screen presence that stars have. But it was Patrick Swayze who played the character of Bodhi that really made this picture exciting to watch. No one will ever play Bodhi like Swazye did, that's almost enough said right there.
To me, the first and most obvious thing wrong with this movie is poor casting. Ramirez as Bodhi does nothing to bring this character to life. The character of Pappas(Ray Winstone)is also dead in the water, as is FBI Instructor Hall (Delroy Lindo). Luke Bracey as Johnny Utah was merely acceptable. In my opinion, the only really well cast part was that of Samsara, played by Teresa Palmer.
On a positive note for this movie I thought that the locations were beautifully filmed, the action along with the stunts was pretty good, and the script did vary enough from the original to make it worth watching at least once.
Unfortunately this remake of Point Break was a little disappointing and I can't help but think that if only they had cast these characters better and perhaps spent a little more money and brought in some star power that this remake would be a much more enjoyable movie. Obviously nothing will ever replace the original Point Break...which is what I am going to watch right now so I can remember this movie for what it should be and not for this ill advised remake that I just saw in the theater.
Superdome (1978)
Superdumb
Make no mistake about it, this is not a very good movie. I just about hit the eject button on the DVD player to put an end to the nonsensical movie called Superdome. I stuck it out to the very end because I really like David Janssen, Peter Haskell, Susan Howard, and Tom Selleck. And I absolutely love the beautiful and talented Donna Mills....she is gorgeous in any movie. But even her beauty could not save this turkey of a film. The plot was about what you would expect, but the subplots were laughable. What really made them ridiculous was terrible casting. Whoever cast these stars in their roles didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. For example, Donna Mills' character pursuing an intimate relationship with David Janssen? Not believable. Even worse was the aging and overweight Ken Howard cast as an all-pro cornerback was just plain ludicrous. The only one that really was a good fit was Tom Selleck as the starting quarterback for one of the teams. Selleck was in great shape in his pre-Magnum days and looked comfortable in his roll. When I bought this movie and saw all these fine actors were in this movie I thought it might not be too bad....can't win them all I guess. I would not recommend this movie unless you have absolutely nothing else to do.
The Maze Runner (2014)
Remember it's only a movie.....it's not that bad.
I actually liked this movie. As I watched this movie I was somewhat reminded of The Lord of the Flies, but with a lot of science fiction thrown in there. Yes, this movie has flaws, but what movie doesn't? Is it believable? No, but so what. Is Star Wars, The Avengers, Batman, Captain America, and The Hunger Games believable? No. I have read a lot of reviews on here that pan this movie, but that's just it...it is only a movie. Just sit back and let yourself enjoy the fantasy. And if it was really that bad why would they be making a sequel? It must have done well at the box office. I bought the DVD for my son, and I am sure that he will enjoy it more than I did.
The Gambler (2014)
Wahlberg, Goodman, and Williams are solid and believable in their roles. Not a bad movie
The Gambler is a poignant tale of a man who is in the grips of one of life's worst addictions. The Gambler is moving in several ways in that you find yourself feeling for the man's family and friends because they are dragged into his dark world as he struggles with a demon that has cost him everything. At the same time you are not only hoping that he will do the right thing and get out as he is given opportunities to do, but you are also fearing for the mans personal safety because he squanders opportunities to pay off an ever mounting debt to men that will stop at nothing to collect. Wahlberg plays the part of the gambler perfectly as do John Goodman and Michael Kenneth Williams as a couple of lone sharks who allow him to get deeper and deeper into the abyss of his addiction. The ending is comforting in knowing that he finally breaks free and will now be able to pursue a normal life with a new love that he has found. Unfortunately, counting on that one last big bet to get yourself out is seldom how it works in real life. The end is dramatic yes, but realistic no. The Gambler is a movie that is well worth watching, but it may hit home for many families who have a loved one who struggles with this terrible addiction.
Oblivion (2013)
Tom Cruise is back where he belongs...on top!!!
Tom Cruise's latest film "Oblivion" shows him at his very best in this sci-fi thriller set in the not too distant future. Tom Cruise typically has done very well as the hero in sci-fi films, and this film is no exception. In fact, it may be a cut above Minority Report, Vanilla Sky and War of the Worlds. The storyline is strong with a few unique twists to it that keeps it fresh and interesting. The special effects are good and so is the supporting cast. Morgan Freeman plays Beecher, the leader of the "Scavs", and Andrea Risenborough along with Olga Kurylenko are the women in his life. This has to be one of Cruise's best performances outside of the MIssion:Impossible franchise. I am looking forward to his next sci-fi release which is "All You Need is Kill" which is set for a March 2014 release for now.
42 (2013)
42 is not just a movie about baseball, it's about courage.
This is a movie that is not just about baseball, it's more about the courage of men. Special men like Jackie Robinson, Branch Rickey and Pee Wee Reese not only helped change the game of baseball, they helped change humanity and civil rights by showing the courage that they did in accepting Jackie Robinson not only as a baseball player, but as a man, a human being with equal rights the same as anybody else.
Chadwick Boseman does an outstanding job playing the great Jackie Robinson, while Harrison Ford is superb as Branch Rickey. This has to be one of Ford's finest performances as the GM of the Dodgers who has a "great experiment" that he wants to try that will ultimately change baseball forever. An excellent supporting cast is highlighted by Lucas Black as Pee Wee Reese, the great ball player from Kentucky who was one of the first of the Brooklyn Dodgers to really accept Jackie Robinson not only as a player and a teammate, but as a man and a friend. Other fine performances were from Nicole Beharie as Rachel Robinson, Christopher Meloni as Leo Durocher, Hamish Linklater as Ralph Branca and a memorable performance by Alan Tudyk as the racist, overbearing and ignorant Manager of the Philadelphia Phillies who pushes Robinson to the brink of breaking with his racial insensitivity and ignorance.
42 is an excellent movie. In my opinion it is a must see movie, not just for baseball for fans, but for everybody. And if you are a history buff you will appreciate the attention to detail with the sets, costumes other miscellaneous items of the time period. It is clearly one of the best movies of 2013 so far.
Olympus Has Fallen (2013)
Olympus Has Fallen, but a hero has risen!
Olympus Has Fallen sets the tone in the opening scenes by letting the audience know that the leading man(Gerard Butler)is a secret service agent who at all times puts country first before any personal feelings. So right away you know that in the end the bad guys aren't going to stand a chance against a true American patriot like agent Mike Banning. Gerard Butler plays the part very, very well and is quite good as an action hero. You find yourself really rooting for him to succeed in saving America from even more tragedy than what has already occurred. Ashley Judd has a small part as the warm and loving First Lady and mother of the President's son Connor(Finley Jacobsen). Aaron Eckhart is solid as the President of the United States and Rick Yune plays the part of the North Korean terrorist bent on destroying America "to a T". Last but not least, Morgan Freeman is Speaker of the House Martin Trumbull who assumes the Presidency while the President is held captive.
Olympus Has Fallen has a solid plot, and you hope that God forbid a scenario like this could never happen in real life. The action and the special effects are fantastic. You are engrossed in this movie from start to finish, it delivers as promised.
As I sat there and enjoyed this movie, a thought came to mind. If Morgan Freeman were to really run for President of the United States, he might actually get a lot of votes. He's played a President twice that I know of and has played other political leaders in various other movies. He's quite believable in the part. Just a thought.
Olympus Has Fallen is a great movie and I would highly recommend seeing it!
Gangster Squad (2013)
Here comes Santa Claus!!!
Set in 1949 Los Angeles, this Ruben Fleischer directed crime drama really lets you settle in your seat and gives you the feeling that you are back in the days of pinstripe suits, Fedora hats and tommy guns.Gangster Squad gives you a touch of film noir mixed with a hint of the melodrama of the old television show "The Untouchables". Sean Penn is top notch as Mickey Cohen, the mobster bent on owning Los Angeles and keeping it all to himself. Josh Brolin is perfect as the leader of the Gangster Suad and Ryan Gosling, Giovanni Ribisi and Robert Patrick are solid as the leading members of the squad. The always beautiful Emmas Stone plays the femme fatale girlfriend of Cohen who later falls for a member of the squad. The "Here comes Santa Claus" scene near the ending climax is classic Sean Penn all the way.
Gangster Squad is a great movie! I have seen it twice and I will more than likely buy the DVD when it comes out. Gangster Squad is reportedly based on true events. If you enjoy crime drama, film noir or you' re looking for a movie that is just plain good then I would highly recommend that you see Gangster Squad.
Phantom (2013)
"Phantom" is a good solid movie and well worth watching!!!
When I saw the trailer for "Phantom" and read the details of what it is about I immediately got the feeling that it was going to be a really good movie and that I had to go see it. Ed Harris brings depth to any character he plays, and his portrayal as Demi, the captain of a Soviet submarine with a few skeletons in his closet is no exception. Given one last command at a time when the Cold War tensions between the super-powers are at an all time high, he must battle more than the Americans, he must battle the enemy within his own ranks. David Duchovny is brilliant as Bruni, the radical KGB agent on board who is bent on taking command of the submarine and firing a nuclear missile aimed at the United States. The twist to this is that the submarine is also armed with a secret weapon called the "Phantom" that will give off a signature signal that will lead the Americans to believe that the missile was launched from a Red Chinese submarine instead of a Soviet one. Bruni and other members of the KBG believe this will trigger an all out nuclear war between China and the United States and allow the Soviet Union to sit back and survive the holocaust unscathed. Tensions run high as Captain Demi and other loyal crew members work to diffuse the missiles warhead and retake control of the sub from the KGB agents. "Phantom" is loosely based on the true events involving the Soviet submarine K-129 in 1968.
As I sat back and enjoyed this movie I must admit that at first I found myself thinking of David Duchovny's character as being Fox Mulder. I think there are a few "X-Files" episodes that involved submarines, specifically the 17th episode of the second season titled "End Game" which led me to feel that way. However, as the movie went along and Duchovny's character Bruni developed I got over that feeling.... This is a very good solid movie and I highly recommend seeing it.
Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)
Could this be one of Freddy's Nightmares?
The title and cover art pretty much say it all for this movie. Incredibly there is a plot to this mindless mayhem, but who cares. Right? This movie isn't about having a plot or cheering for the good guy (or girl)..it's about killing people with a chainsaw. Steven Spielberg is probably wishing that he had come up with this premise.
Bottom line is this: Hollywood will give anyone money to make a film especially if it has a chance to make money. Apparently these Texas Chainsaw Massacre series of films do make money because they keep coming back like a bad nightmare in a Freddy Krueger movie. Hardcore fans of the horror and slasher flick genre will enjoy it.
If you have 92 minutes of your life that you would like to completely waste then this movie is perfect for you...but leave your chainsaw at home.
Lincoln (2012)
A must see for anyone interested in the history of our great nation!!!
Steven Spielberg directed this historical biography that focuses on President Abraham Lincoln's relentless efforts for passage of the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States before the end of the Civil War. Passage of the amendment before the end of the Civil War is viewed as critical by President Lincoln and members of his cabinet. Efforts are tireless and tensions are high during this tragic but groundbreaking period of time in the United States that sees President Lincoln strive for change and peace at the same time. Although the passage of the amendment is first priority to the President, the horrors of the Civil War are brought to the forefront when his son Robert insists on enlisting in the army despite the efforts of the President and the first Lady to discourage him.
Daniel Day- Lewis gives a brilliant performance as President Abraham Lincoln and is supported by an equally brilliant cast that sees Sally Field give an emotionally charged performance as Mary Todd Lincoln while Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays President Lincoln's son Robert. Other supporting cast members who give memorable performances are Tommy Lee Jones, Hal Holbrook, James Spader and David Strathairn.
History buffs are in for a real treat as Lincoln shows how history was made with the help of well crafted, realistic looking sets and costumes along with a script that sticks close to the inspiring events of the period. Lincoln is a little long at 150 minutes but with its entertaining script and creative performances, movie-goers will enjoy this picture.
Hopefully they will come away from the picture reassured that Abraham Lincoln, although he was many things, was in fact, not a vampire hunter.
Jack Reacher (2012)
Tom Cruise makes this movie exciting to watch!!
Tom Cruise plays Jack Reacher, a former military policeman looking to enforce justice his own way in this movie based on the Jack Reacher series of novels by Lee Child. Cruise gives a credible and engaging performance as the rough and tough investigator with a mysterious past who suspects a conspiracy might be behind a sniper shooting that took the lives of five innocent people.
Jack Reacher has its moments of excitement but without Tom Cruise in the title role this is likely an average movie. The action scenes are good but the supporting characters lack chemistry while the plot runs short on intrigue and is predictable. The opening scene is violent and can be disturbing to watch.
Die hard Tom Cruise fans will enjoy this movie a little more than average movie goers will.
Skyfall (2012)
Bond is back and he's bigger, better and bolder than ever in Skyfall!!!
Bond is back and he's bigger, better and bolder than ever in Skyfall. Skyfall is the 23rd installment of the movie franchise that revolves around the exploits of British Secret Service agent James Bond. Daniel Craig delivers his best performance yet as agent 007 in this international action packed thriller.
Craig, whose previous outings as James Bond were Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, steps up the level of intensity for the character based on the Ian Fleming series of spy novels. Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men) plays the villain Raoul Silva, and is especially chilling as the psychotic former MI6 British agent turned cyber-terrorist, now out for murderous revenge against "M", the head of MI6. Screenwriters Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan deliver a script that is arguably the best the 007 franchise has seen in years. They've turned the James Bond character into one that is a more credible and less tongue-in-cheek. They have also given Skyfall a plot that is exciting yet believable, void of too many gadgets and quick one-liners. While all of the gadgetry and comedy are not totally gone, they are well placed and an appropriate break from the level of seriousness that this movie maintains.
British singer Adele sings the title track for Skyfall during the mesmerizing opening credits that have delighted James Bond fans for years. Well choreographed action sequences and unique filming locations provide the film with stunning cinematography that is pleasing to the eyes.
You don't have to be a James Bond fan to enjoy Skyfall, action fans of all ages will be pleased with this movie and will leave the theater anxiously waiting for James Bond #24.
Safe Haven (2013)
"Sparks" fly in this romantic melodrama!
Nicholas Spark's novel Safe Haven is brought to the big screen and yet again he serves up a story that tugs on the heartstrings of many a female viewer... and perhaps a few male viewers as well. Katie (Julianne Hough) is a physically and emotionally battered and beaten young woman from Boston who is on the run from her abusive and alcoholic husband Kevin Tierney (David Lyons).
With the aid of a neighbor, Katie changes her hair and assumes a different identity. She then boards a bus bound for a place that she can call her "safe haven". That place happens to be Southport, NC, a small, sleepy coastal town and a mere pit stop for bus routes all along the East Coast. It also happens to be the home of widower Alex Wheatley (Josh Duhamel), who immediately feels a strong attraction to the beautiful and mysterious young woman who got off the bus and decided to hang around town for a while.
As time goes by Katie's trust in Alex builds, and she starts to settle in little by little. Soon a relationship between them starts to take shape, although Katie is very hesitant and cautious at first. In return, Alex and his children have also developed a trust with Katie. But soon that trust is seemingly broken when Alex discovers that Katie is not who she appears to be. Without giving her a chance to explain her situation, he tells Katie how he feels that their trust has been broken and just how much that hurts him. Feeling like she has caused Alex and his children nothing but pain and grief Katie decides it's time to move on. But at the same time, after searching his feelings, Alex realizes that he truly loves Katie no matter what her past may be and pleads with her to stay so they can work through her problems together.
Meanwhile the obsessed and enraged Kevin, who is also a detective with the Boston Police Dept. is not about to let Katie go. He tracks Katie down and finds that she is now with Alex and together with his kids they all appear to be very happy together. This is more than Kevin can bear, so in an alcohol fueled rage he attempts to set their house on fire and kill Katie because if he can't have her, no one can. As the house goes up in flames, Alex rushes in to save his daughter from the house that is now engulfed in a fiery blaze.
As Alex fights to save his daughter, Katie struggles with Kevin who has a gun and is trying to shoot her. In the midst of all the drama, Alex hears the gun go off in the in the direction of where Katie and Kevin were struggling and he fears the worst has happened to Katie. But thankfully for everyone, Kevin is the one who is killed because the gun has gone off on him instead of Katie.
The next day, the sun comes out and shines on them all, and they all live their lives happily ever after...or so we hope. And we are refreshed to see that love and good have once again triumphed over hate and evil, which is why many of us go to see these types of movies.
This movie is a very good movie that concentrates more on drama than it does the romantic side of things. Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel have a believably good chemistry between them and are great as the lead characters, and David Lyons plays his part very well as the slime-ball husband who in the end gets what he deserves.
Snitch (2013)
Great movie and a "Rock" solid performance by Dwayne Johnson!!!
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays John Matthews, a father who is willing to risk everything to save his son from the horrors of serving the mandatory minimum sentence for Federal drug trafficking charges. After making a deal with a Federal Prosecutor (Susan Sarandon) to have his son's prison sentence commuted, he must become an informant for the DEA to gather enough information to nail the leader of a Mexican drug Cartel (Benjamin Pratt) and others within the same network of traffickers and dealers. Desperate to find a way into the dealer's network he uses false pretenses and money to enlist the help of an ex-con doing his best to go straight (Jon Bernthal) who has had ties with them in the past. The deeper he becomes involved, the more complicated and dangerous the situation becomes. At the same time family friction and tensions ensue for both men as the drama mounts and the bullets fly.
In a movie that is inspired by true events, "The Rock" shows he has come a long way since his WWE wrestling days. In his first truly serious role he is brilliant in his portrayal of the loving father willing to do anything to help his son. It's very refreshing to see Dwayne Johnson in a role that is higher in drama than it is action.
Django Unchained (2012)
Quenton Tarantino's "spaghetti western" brings magic to the screen!
Django Unchained is filmmaker Quenton Tarantino's latest off-beat adventure for the big screen. Highlighting this film are great performances by Christoph Waltz, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson and an ensemble supporting cast that includes former television stars Don Johnson, Tom Wopat, Bruce Dern, Don Stroud and Amber Tamblyn. However, it is the sharp performance of Leonardo DiCaprio as the cruel and merciless plantation owner Calvin Candie that steals the show in this violent tale set in the south prior to the civil war. Inspired by the 1966 Italian made western Django, Tarantino wrote a script for this film that accent and combine his unique style of filmmaking with the "spaghetti western" genre while presenting an eye-opening look at slavery in the deep- south during that period. In typical Tarantino fashion this movie was not made for the faint of heart with its extreme graphic depiction of violence and torture...so be warned. Even though this movie runs long at just under 3 hours it maintains your interest at a high level.
The Grapes of Wrath (1940)
The stark reality of the 1930's brought to the screen by John Ford
If you have never seen John Ford's classic film The Grapes of Wrath it's highly recommended that you do so at least once in your lifetime. The Grapes of Wrath is more than just a good old fashioned movie; it's a lesson in American history. Many of us have probably heard a grandparent or older family member talk of "The Dust Bowl" days, "The Depression Era" and of banks foreclosing on farms during the 1930's. Director John Ford brilliantly captures all this in The Grapes of Wrath as it follows one Oklahoma family through all these hardships as they migrate from their foreclosed farm to California in hopes of finding work in a depressed economy. Superb acting by Henry Fonda, Jane Darwell and John Carradine bring raw emotion to a well written script based on the novel by John Steinbeck. Both the novel and the movie were extremely controversial during their initial period of release. The novel was actually banned in several states because of its true depiction of the life of strife that many families encountered while living in migrant worker camps in California. This is a great must see movie for the whole family.
The Last Stand (2013)
Arnold Schwarzenegger still packs a punch!!!
Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the big screen in his first feature film since leaving the governorship in California. At 64 years old Arnold is clearly starting to show his age and does not possess the muscular physique that he once had, but make no mistake about it he still packs a punch when it comes to making action movies. The Last Stand is a very good action packed thriller in which Arnold plays an aging Sheriff who is the only thing stopping escaped federal convict Gabriel Cortez (played by Eduardo Noriega) and his 200 mph+ Corvette from crossing the United States border into Mexico to gain his freedom. There is never a dull moment in this movie that combines action with occasional comedy and features a cast of bad guys that you just love to hate. It also shows that Schwarzenegger still has that on-screen charisma that made him a mega-star in the 80's and 90's. Johnny Knoxville co-stars in this movie that is very entertaining and well worth your money to go see.
