Bichunmoo (2000)
Well, I've seen better....
An average script about two lovers, separated by class and misunderstandings, who never stop loving each other. Then there's some changes of loyalty here and there, and some fighting.
Unfortunately, terrible, overly dramatic acting (this Jingha really knows how to look sad...he's also quite hard to kill), boring fights, and cinematography, scenery and costumes that look a bit second-rate compared to other films of the genre (Hero, Crouching Tiger..), though it's probably a bit unfair to compare, due to differences in Budget-size. One good advice: If the computer animated scenes look like crap (what's with the flowers in the beginning?), just drop them.
So not very riveting, and too long, a pain to watch at almost two hours. I do love fight scenes with Cheese-metal guitar-solos though.
Goyôkin (1969)
See this film if you get the opportunity
Saw Goyokin at Cinemateket in Oslo recently, and was really amazed. Already from the hauntingly beautiful beginning, with the young girl returning to her village, I was completely captured by the stunning cinematography (never has mud been so pretty) and music.
The story is alright, and the fight scenes are more realistic than usual in this genre, which fits the film well. The costumes and sets also seems realistic, though I'm not an expert on that. But it is the visual beauty, with many scenes in a snowy winter, and the music, that sets you in a in a wonderful, melancholic mood.

Not Another Teen Movie (2001)
Bad comedies
This film could very well be the worst film i've ever seen. I didn't laugh a single time watching it. The best part of the film is when a Cure song is played, introducing one of the characters. This is quite early in the film, but you should not, for your own sake, see any more of it. Stupid and mean jokes and a terrible story.
"The Waterboy", "Freddy got Fingered" and this film are clearly the worst three films I have seen. While really bad action/drama often turn out to be quite amusing, bad comedies are just bad.
Instead of seeing this film, see "Dr. Strangelove" or a Monthy Pyton film for the eleventh time.
