Deadliest Warrior (2009)
Shows like this are for entertainment purposes and not to be taken seriously.
Every show has it's flaws, it's the people that view the show that are too passionate about the forum. I don't blame them for their passion, it's human nature. I have enjoyed this show from the beginning, I too was forgoing on the venue of the show. I called it, Deadliest Weapon. In the first two season they tested the weapons only. They talked about the culture and a little of their history. But it wasn't a factor until the third season, which still has flaws. In this season they added in the "X-Factors", upped the battle simulation numbers. What they didn't factor in is one warrior is better with a certain weapon than with another or certain warriors are basically grunts or farmers with a weapon they have never held before. In the computer simulation all the warriors are skilled with all the weapons. And not all x-factors are included. I enjoy this show for its entertainment value not as bona fide fact and trail of historic warriors. Shows like this are for entertainment purposes and not to be taken seriously. If you want edu-tainment I suggest The Learning Channel or Discovery Channel and my favorite National Geographic Channel. Spike TV is Cartoon Network for Big Kids.
The Super Hero Squad Show (2009)
The Super Hero Squad Should not be taken intravenously
OK...If you are obsessed about comics and movies about Superheros as I am, then you should appreciate any and all attempts to reach all ages with their stories for ALL AGES. If The Super Hero Squad Show is not your speed, then why should you critic it? Unless you want to show them as they are in the comics or in the movies, which is redundant. Why show the same thing over and over? And this goes to you mostly dragoniawriter. If you don't like the show quit watching it, it's for kids, switch the channel or simply turn off the tube and go out and be a real superhero. All in all I'm just saying, Daddy's got his shows and the kids have theirs. Which I watch...personally, I'm a DC guy myself.
Wuzzles (1985)
The Wuzzles should have continued
Growing up, watching cartoons is every child's religion. I used to wake up Saturday morning run to the bathroom relieve myself, run to the TV, flip it to the cartoons, sit there for three hours then my mom would call me for breakfast. I would eat as fast as I could then run back to the TV and sit there for another three hours, until football started. Bleach! Gummy Bears and The Wuzzles, The Smurfs were the ones I remember the best. If you grew up in the 80's you would know these shows. Out of the three I liked best was The Smurfs. The Wuzzles and Gummy Bears a close second, the both of them. I followed each show right to the end. But The Wuzzles was canceled just when i got in to it. The reason it stopped was that of the voice characters passed away. Bill Scott, he suffered a heart attack at the age of 65. He wasn't just a voice actor, he wrote, produced and directed. He was most famous for his role as Bullwinkle J. Moose. He also did Dudley Do-Right and of course Gruffi Gummy. I'm sure The Wuzzles would have continued and made a bigger impact on the world too. Only thirteen episodes though, it was one of those shows gone before their time. I didn't know this until 22 years later, when I discovered the internet. Whoa! you might be saying to yourself. What a dinosaur, you say. Right, I am.
The Beach Girls (1982)
The Beach Girls was a fun movie.
After reading all the reviews, comments and "spoilers" I'd say all of you missed the point of the movie. That there is no point! It's just mindless, let go of your inhibitions, forget about the world, fantasize about a sexy girl, "Oh, yeah! I partied like that!", nothing on at 4 a.m., debouch-puristic, voyeurism is the bomb, T & A in your face flick! (Whew!) And! Let's not forget the "Playboy Centerfold" everybody loves so much, Jeana Tomasino! Who is now Jeana Keough!(Whoo-Hoo! Divorced! Can you say, Oedipus? Not only was she in the ZZ Top Afterburner music videos(drool, drool, drool...pokies!) She did TV too t0O! The A-Team, St. Elsewhere, Cheers and T.J. Hooker! Not only did she do TV shows, she did reality TV and a little game show called Millionaire. As a celebrity question presenter? The Real Housewives of Orange County 2006, she appeared in 18 episodes. So she didn't really disappear, as some would say. Oh! Little side note here, @brannonburns...you are so Capitalized! You missed one capitalization in the second HER in your comment...just thought you ought to know(and I know you pick-knickers are checking it out now, so anal). HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! XD
