OK, but no where near the hype
28 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
No where near in the same league as Titanic, only good special effects.

Not a very believable story of course, and I suppose that is the limitation, but plot wise it was not especially amazing, and certainly not emotional like Titanic.

But it made loads of money, so I guess, not memorable, but Hollywood are happy.

Will Hollywood please do some films about Vikings, as they have not really been done, and I bet they could make billions from some variations on that theme...yes Hollywood I give you that idea for free.

With cinema pricing as sky high as it is, you have to choose carefully these days what to see, but to bring this film out in various formats....a bit greedy.

The Best TV series ever....and Hollywood cancelled it!
28 August 2010
Simply the best TV series there has been.

James Spader and William S were first class, and I do hope they find something very similar.

Why do these sorts of shows get cancelled and others are still on TV that simply should not be there.

Any chance of a further spin-off, as James and William were great? I know if was already a spin-off.

At the moment of the show to watch - Big Bang Theory, Dexter, V, Justified (but only for Walton) and I am struggling to find any others.

Buy the entire series on DVD, Boston Legal is worth it.

Great promise, passed the time, but cop-out ending
28 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Nice engrossing premise/film, but when she is 40 and he 14 years younger, how will it end....well.....usual Hollywood style, they didn't have a good idea, and so it let the whole film down.

Catherine is very attractive in this, and you want to see that she can be with the younger man, but when his parents disapprove of her, and then at the end without explanation approve, it just made it a little odd.

Compared to The Proposal and Killers (does Ashton have a personality?), it was a good film, as you kind of expect a let down ending on these sorts of films.

Waste of time!
28 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
What film did the other reviewers watch? The film was hardly worth saying it had a plot, disjointed (like the A Team) and the action was too much shooting...and simply not in the class of production that Rambo was just in. The lighting was bad at times, and seemed cheaply made, and wow did the actors not look young any more.

And don't get me started on the casting of Dexter's Angel Batista as the baddie.....oh dear.

Such a shame of a movie.

It was one of my worst films I have seen this year, and I love action movies (Lethal Weapon Die Hard and Transporter being the best franchises at the moment).

But if it made them money....

The best casting was Dolph, and he was under used. Get him in some higher budget movies, his whole career has been under used, and Hollyood have missed out! Jet Li's martial arts were under used, after his hard man performance in Lethal Weapon. Bruce had a few lines as did Arnold, and then who were the rest of the cast!!? Jason S was good as usual, but again looked like he was just so pleased to be among the cast - do Transporter 4 Jason, though 3 was weak true enough.

Avoid in my view. If only Arnold and Bruce had been more in it.
