Babli Bouncer (2022)
Loved the movie, concept and the acting.
Loved the movie, concept and the acting.
I'll still deduct a few points on a predictive storyline, yet the acting of the entire cast binds through the entire movie.
Tamannaah really gave her Haryanvi heart out to this role and may prove to be game changer to her Hindi film career, that almost ended after Himmatwala & Humshakals.
Her diet, her jokes, clean heart and how Haryanvi girls tackle the point of marriage at their homes is clearly shared. A little more into a haryanvi village life could add better flavor to the starting.
Madhur Bhandarkar could explicitly share some of the female bouncers in the city.
The Accidental Prime Minister (2019)
Someone wrote it, the PM markets it
The movie clearly has a propoganda. Making an actor represent you is a farce on the face of Indian audiences.
This movie certainly deserves a Bhaskar (Indian Oscar, just like we had an Indian Twitter). Movie is only as good as the opposition's real ambitions, to be scared of likes, debauchery and hatred.
PM Narendra Modi (2019)
Ye Bhaskar (Indian Oscar) jeetegi.
You should have gone for a autobiographical poze. Making an actor represent you is a farce on the face of Indian audiences. The movie clearly has a propaganda.
This movie certainly deserves a Bhaskar (Indian Oscar, just like we had an Indian Twitter). Walked out of theatre 10 mins after the break. Movie is only as good as the real speeches, to be scared of likes, debauchery and hatred.
An Insignificant Man (2016)
Simple real truth, no acting, no drama no tears, just simple mobile phone shoot embedded
One of the Must-See Documentaries About Current World Politics. The film sees a good theatrical run and has been loved by audiences like me. The way they have maintained a coherent narrative makes you feel as if you're watching a taut thriller; they keep you glued till the very last moment.
Sardar Ka Grandson (2021)
Great movie, imbalanced acting.
Does Arjun Kapoor not get other type of chances or is Mumbai revenging Punjab on something?
Neena Gupta's talent was under-utilized till date. Loved this Sardar.
Rakul did a splendid job, and so were Aditi Hydri & Kanwarjeet.
John's acting & charisma as a 1947's punjabi munda is mesmerizing; girls will fall for him even more.
The entire Pakistani characters were beyond marks, loved each one of them.
Soni Razdan, Divya Seth - a sheer waste of being a Punjabi mummy. Please quit acting.
Imbalanced acting for a mediocre movie, direction superb but the star glitters ruined the beauty. If you wish to seek some reference, watch 'Lahoriye'.
Still the movie binds you till the second last (last 30 mins were as predictable as a Juhi-Amir 90s movie with known hurdles & a happy ending).
Wished to see more of Neena Gupta than Arjun Kapoor (Someone rightly mentioned 'Zombies act better than Arjun).
Who's Your Daddy (2020)
An amazingly fresh look to light hearted comedy
Takes you to the real punjabi galiyan of dilli and make you experience how punjabis live, talk, and eat. Amazed by characters played in both the seasons -Harsh Beniwal, Rahul Dev, Nirmal Rishi ji, Anveshi, Liza, Bhavin, Mamik Singh, Vidya Malvade, Anushka Sharma, Navneet, and more... It makes you forget the office tire for about 30 mins watching an episode everyday.
Kota Factory (2019)
Loved the direction. EACH CHARACTER STANDS OUT.
Loved the direction. EACH CHARACTER STANDS OUT.
The theme displays the life of kota students - simple 1 or 0, no fuzzy logic involved. At the age when romance should be booming, the heaviest books put in their weights.
The blood is too confused to flow though your brains or your geneticles.
Hostel Daze (2019)
Incomplete that is better than a complete story
I am not sure why is there a trend to leave the story in between and keep user guessing things. I am sure there could be a better ending with more points answered in just one more episode.
TVF - you just grabbed my balls (attention) seeking for more and suddenly I see there is no more watching left.
Loved a few characters - jhaatoo, jaat and even akansha. Use them wisely in the next season (aa rha hai naa! )
Panchayat (2020)
Incomplete, making us anxious for next release.
One, the title is apt, but could have been more elaborate.
Two, Jeetu bhaiya roxxxxx.
Three, the storyline looks incomplete, I am still waiting (spoiler alert! ) what happened after the Tanki was discovered. They cannot leave the story in between and just let us wait for S02.
Na Band Na Baraati (2018)
A good comedy turned bad - poor starting.
A good chapstick comedy turned down by specifically by Shayan Khan.
1. You dont expect great action from someone who looks as beardless as Kareena Kapoor, speaks like a mouth cancer survivor and is as adult as a 12 year old. He acted like Pakistani Hansika Motwani.
2. The maulavi part was irritating. Better acting/ direction on that part could be managed.
The only thing worth watching is Mikaal and Kazmi's acting.
Where's the Party Yaar? (2003)
Just a special case, not every Indian is like that
The movie (seems more like a documentary, though long) is good, a good once a worth watch time pass but clearly does not depict Indians. There might be some special cases but not all bag are douche bag. Never mind, a good to see comic case of a special middle class Indian moving to Western world and watch it out for fun.
All the comments by other users above this one are true and genuine. the funny situation lies with the acting - the cousin sings outside his gf's house 'hum dil de chuke sanam' and the one when the friends act like a gujrati and punjabi. And the punjabi daddy is awesome.
The two girls were just OK but the guys rocked with acting skills.
