It is entertaing

Firstly, please refrain from comparing this to the Japanese release of Godzilla the same year. While I also enjoyed that film, this side of the Pacific Ocean offers a completely different experience.

Now, let's dive into the review.

The storyline back in the days was quite simple: a blonde ventures into a jungle where a giant gorilla falls in love. The climax involves the gorilla climbing a tall building in the city before meeting his death.

Then, out of nowhere, Godzilla emerges, with a theory suggesting he was sleeping in an oceanic space. Subsequently, other monsters surface, all nourished by nuclear energy, leading to the expected chain of events.

A new twist arises with the discovery of another jungle during World War II, revealing the existence of the colossal Kong. As the plot unfolds, we learn that the deep ocean isn't the only habitat for these creatures; there are hidden portals and even a whole Earth within Earth.

Moving forward, the film delves into the Hollow Earth theory, unveiling yet another layer of secrecy within this subterranean realm. To uncover the details of this hidden place, you'll have to watch the movie.

In an unexpected turn, Godzilla adopts a seemingly invincible persona to confront a formidable adversary, while Kong, who I suspect might start conversing in the next installment, receives an Iron Man-like upgrade.

Ultimately, the movie is pure entertainment. Despite any negative criticism, it keeps you engaged throughout, ensuring you won't be bored. So, give it a watch, and the above will all make sense.

Not good not bad
11 May 2024
Ghostbusters will always evoke a sense of nostalgia for me. The movie, along with its iconic theme, holds a permanent place in my memories.

When Ghostbusters was revived most recently, it was a thrill to see how the new characters were introduced and how the original cast seamlessly integrated into the storyline. It was simply a delight to watch.

In this installment, the Ghostbusters find themselves back at their headquarters facing a much stronger and slightly scarier ghost. However, while the introduction of the evil entity was done well, it could have been given more screen time, and the story felt somewhat dragged out. Throughout the movie, I found myself in a state of confusion, unsure whether I was truly enjoying it or not and this feeling persisted until the very end.

Nevertheless, it's worth watching for its classic title alone.

A Treat
4 May 2024
There are very few movies from Hindi Cinema that you can truly consider a treat, ones that you would want to watch again.

"Shaitaan," produced by Devgan movies, is absolutely one such film. It delves into the timeless battle between good and evil. The narrative revolves around a family finding themselves trapped one fateful night and how they must unite as a family to survive.

As a viewer, I might have desired a bit more horror in it, but perhaps next time.

Jyotika's return after so many years was pleasantly surprising.

Janki Bodiwala delivered a solid performance.

However, the movie truly shines due to Madhavan's brilliance. The actor showcases his expertise and years of experience, keeping the audience engaged throughout the film.

While it's an Ajay Devgan is lead star but for me, it was an all out Madhavan and his acting prowess.

Typically, horror movies aren't recommended for family viewing, but this one breaks the norm. It contains no foul language or absurd scenes, making it perfect for a family outing.

Movie in what sense
1 May 2024
Creating fiction can be challenging, especially when it follows the typical Bollywood formula of making a movie on these days single line formula against a particular area.

Hidden away from the world lies a national masjid, unknown to most especially to the inhabitants.

Dharma Productions, yet again, attempts to promote their actor, who has remained stagnant in portraying only a single facial expression since the beginning.

While the movie's premise had potential, it was marred by an absurd and ridiculous third act, filled with so many twists that even the Mastan brothers would be perplexed by its conclusion.

From the onset, it's evident that the director has drawn inspiration from numerous films but lacks the skill to execute them effectively. In one scene, a sniper inexplicably reveals his position, and his weapon inexplicably changes from a sniper rifle to an assault rifle. The subsequent action sequences fail to impress.

Overall, the film is nonsensical and a waste of time.

Average with a ridiculous ending
26 April 2024
I anticipate this review might receive some criticism, as all I seem to be encountering are overwhelmingly positive appraisals for the movie. Do I need to be under the influence of something to comprehend it, because the ending struck me as the most absurd thing I've ever witnessed in a film?

First and foremost, Katy O'Brian-wow. She truly left a remarkable impression with her performance in the movie; it was simply splendid.

As for Kristen Stewart, I'll refrain from commenting, as I believe my silence should convey my thoughts adequately.

Overall, the movie is rather average, lacking any cinematic or theatrical elements of note. It fails to provide entertainment or captivate its audience throughout.

Those who manage to endure the entire film are likely to be greatly disappointed.

In conclusion, it falls short of being commendable. That's my verdict.

Brilliant concept put to trash
24 April 2024
Teri Baaton mein Aisa Uljha Diya A movie title, having nothing to do with the movie, so long, so meaningless that the first attraction is never there.

The movie name should have been Sifra, it should have revolved around Kriti Sanon and she should have lead the movie all the way. It should not have base the movie on Shahid Kapoor character and that is the reason a very good concept could not be properly utilized.

Kriti Sanon undoubtedly was good and amaznigly beautiful in the movie, but being Bollywood, she was not made the base of the movie.

Even with her in lead and shahid in supporting, the movie could have been better, much more improvement in story line could have been possible and it would have a very good movie. But dont think Shahid Kapoor and similar status actors are willing for such roles.

Throughout the movie, Shahid scenes are just completely burden and repeated words and repeated scenes.

It should have been an all Sifra aka Kriti movie. Again she was badly used and mostly for lip locking. Last few mins some more screen time has been given but in vain.

Not a good watch. The movie titled "Lost in Your Words" is so long and meaningless that it fails to attract viewers.

The movie should have been named "Sifra," revolving around Kriti Sanon as the lead. Instead, it focused on Shahid Kapoor's character, resulting in the underutilization of a very good concept.

Kriti Sanon was undoubtedly good and amazingly beautiful in the movie, but typical of Bollywood, she was not made the centerpiece of the film.

Even with her in the lead and Shahid in a supporting role, the movie could have been much better. There could have been significant improvements in the storyline, making it a very good movie. However, actors like Shahid Kapoor and others of similar status might not be willing to take on such roles.

Throughout the movie, Shahid's scenes are simply a burden, filled with repetitive words and repeated scenes.

It should have been an all-Sifra, aka Kriti, movie. Again, she was poorly utilized, mostly used for lip-locking scenes. In the last few minutes, some additional screen time was given, but it was in vain.

Overall, not a good watch.

P. S.

Music and songs very forgetabble.

A director debut blast
24 April 2024
Dev Patel, as a director, has certainly pulled it off big time. It came as a complete surprise, but he has directed the movie as someone with years of experience. Kudos to him on this score.

Regarding his acting, Dev has once again presented himself in a completely different version and in a serious action form.

However, the weakest aspect of the movie lies in its story.

The first half is more akin to a Bourne-type, focused on infiltration. The middle half leans more towards a Van Damme mode, where the hero undergoes training and the final half is reminiscent of John Wick.

The middle part, which is very short, where the main hero discovers all his powers, is the shortest and hence the least coherent.

All in all, not a bad one to watch.

SUPERB
21 April 2024
This is the story of Sindila, who transformed into Chamkila, a poor Punjabi Sikh whose voice rose from the dust to become a star. It depicts how, regardless of where one is, the world is always full of critics, some who don't understand and simply object, while others provide support.

Undoubtedly, one of Imtiaz Ali's finest works, the director beautifully and accurately portrayed Amar Singh Chamkila within this movie's timeline.

A. R. Rahman, the grandmaster of music, creates yet another memorable soundtrack. His consecutive songs will immerse you in every emotion. Furthermore, the grandmaster has proven that he can infuse music into any lyrics, regardless of the language.

Most importantly, Diljit Dosanjh. Without a doubt, the only actor who can truly play this role. Not only can he sing justifiably, but he can also act brilliantly. Diljit delivers his best performance yet.

Parineeti Chopra, perhaps delivering the best leading role she has ever had, matches Diljit's top-notch performance.

There is much more that could be said here, but it would spoil the movie for you.

In short, this movie beautifully portrays the life, journey, success, and end of a musician, performed excellently, directed beautifully, and accompanied by a musical treat.

What ever this was
20 April 2024
Movies are meant for entertainment, not to leave viewers feeling like they have PTSD after watching. The plot is extremely poor, with no foundation, no grounding, and no coherence. Despite being an older movie, I couldn't discern what the director was attempting to achieve with the presentation. Scenes jump erratically, the past and present are muddled, and the plot flies aimlessly, leaving nothing but a bad taste in one's mouth.

Lynne Ramsay, the director, doesn't have much to her credit, and I don't believe this film would contribute anything positive to her portfolio. While there is a way to portray struggle effectively, one shouldn't be struggling to understand the movie. The film lacks any allure or desire to watch it again, ever.

Overall, it's not impressive and I will be setting this one aside.

The story continious
19 April 2024
The second edition of this series impressed me by seamlessly continuing the story from where the first one left off. Unlike many sequels that introduce entirely new elements, this one maintains continuity with both the storyline and the cast.

In terms of action, it surpasses the first edition, delivering a relentless barrage of excitement. If you're seeking non-stop action, you'll find plenty of it here.

The story remains consistent, but it's essential to watch the first part before delving into this one. Without that context, the movie won't make much sense. Therefore, it's crucial to maintain the sequence.

Additionally, Sofia Boutella's portrayal is notably improved in the second edition, featuring enhanced action choreography.

Overall, Netflix has done a commendable job with this presentation, earning a solid 6.5/10 from me.

It could have been better
8 April 2024
I am dead sure that a lot of negative response to this review, but hey not every cinematic brilliance becomes an all time classic.

I grew up watching Star Wars and other similarly plotted stories on the big screen. Dune, both Part One and Part Two, falls into the same category.

There will inevitably be people who disagree with this review, but I gave Part One a solid six stars, and I intend to do the same for this installment.

The movie is undeniably long, perhaps excessively so, due to the abundance of twists and turns throughout.

The final showdown between the champions was disappointingly executed and could have been improved upon.

However, when it comes to the acting, there's no doubt it's outstanding across the board. The director truly captures the essence of character development, from Paul to Atreides to Muad'Dib to Kwisatz Haderach to Usul; the directors builds the story very nicely.

It's apparent that this saga is far from over, with much more to come in the future. Let's hope it only gets better from here.

A very okish
6 April 2024
The world is filled with dark secrets and this movie endeavors to shed light on just one story among millions. With the central figure deceased, countless victims and their tales are interred with them.

Firstly, there seems to be confusion on IMDB regarding the order of the movie cast. Gillian Anderson is erroneously placed in the secondary cast list, while Rufus Sewell is not prominently featured in the primary cast lineup. Hopefully, this discrepancy will be rectified soon.

Regarding the aforementioned issue, the performances delivered are nothing short of exemplary. Both actors have meticulously embodied their real-life counterparts and portrayed their roles with finesse.

Beyond that, the movie delves into the scandalous exposure of a member of the British Royal Family to the scrutiny of television and the public eye, due to their association with a convicted sex offender who has ties to numerous affluent and influential individuals.

As for the veracity of the Prince's claims, that is a judgment left to the viewer's discretion.

Slow start
30 March 2024
I won't blame Netflix, but perhaps the entire cast for the slow start and some repeated jokes.

Initially, I was eager since the show on Netflix was more accessible across the border, unlike YouTube where there was no cutting or editing of songs, etc. That was a positive aspect. However, the cast's performance was quite mediocre.

Archana Puran Singh seemed to be forcing herself to laugh harder than ever before and contribution to the show was absolutely and totally nothing.

Kapil started with the usual routine but with very dull introductory jokes.

Sunil Grover's return was welcomed, considering his strong presence in the show, but his solo endeavors in movies, etc., were just terrible.

Krushna Abhishek's performance was mediocre; it could have been better.

Kiku's portrayal as a chef was very uninspiring; his second appearance was below average.

The show lacked substance and seemed like a desperate attempt at humor. It could have been better. Fresh jokes with better punchlines are needed.

I won't make a final judgment based on the first episode; let's hope the subsequent ones are better.

Loser
23 March 2024
There are movies with entirely imaginative stories, where directors aim to elevate the narrative through the grandeur of the big screen.

Then there are real-life stories that directors attempt to adapt for the screen, striving to do justice to the original events.

And then there's Siddharth Anand, who first twists a real event into his own fantasy and then proceeds to ruin it with subpar plotting, a weak storyline, and dreadful visual effects.

In attempting to emulate Top Gun, Hindi cinema not only misses the mark but completely loses the essence of the film. While Top Gun begins with a tower flyover, Hindi cinema takes it to absurd heights, with planes flying upside down over runways, thankfully without scraping the asphalt or featuring the hero lighting a cigar or busting a dance move mid-flight.

The beginning of the movie is not just a poor imitation but perhaps a D-grade copy of top gun.

Hrithik Roshan seems to have misjudged his role, as if starring in War wasn't enough to make him realize it's not his forte, especially when the same director and team have already produced a similar action movie. It's not just about acting in a copied Hollywood movie but also in your own.

Deepika Padukone barely gets any meaningful role in the movie, apart from forced scenes, unnecessary songs, and trying to grab some screen time with Hrithik Roshan, who not only acts selfishly in the movie but seemingly in real life too.

The rest of the movie is filled with the same tired tropes of portraying Pakistan forces in a negative light, along with the usual Bollywood imaginings of Pakistan, its people, and language.

It's a bad movie from the very start until the end, where the Hindi cinema maverick decides to transform into Rambo.

P. S.

Anil Kapoor, someone forgot to tell him that it was Hritikh copying Tom Cruise and it was not his role to play.

Liking not loving
22 March 2024
In the vein of today's Western narratives, the plot unfolds with the antagonistic force attempting to shut down a business. The owner recruits an outsider to defend their cause and amidst intense confrontations, the heroes emerge victorious, culminating in a classic sunset walk. The end.

The film adheres to a similar storyline, emphasizing hand-to-hand combat over firearms, with commendable fight choreography offering audiences a fresh take on action sequences. However, despite these merits, the narrative lacks depth, resulting in a somewhat mundane viewing experience that may not warrant repeat watches.

Jake Gyllenhaal delivers a captivating performance, showcasing a whole new facet of his acting prowess, albeit hindered by the shortcomings of the storyline.

True to his real-life persona, Conor McGregor maintains his signature presence in the movie, as astutely anticipated.

Horrible Movie Mubarak
18 March 2024
GGuess the title should serve the purpose and believe me, it's more than sufficient to describe the entire 2 hours and 20 minutes of complete nonsense.

A film attempted by Homi Adajania (who has previously been associated with some regrettable films) goes completely haywire from the very start. Yes, he attempts to make something interesting by forcefully inserting ridiculous R-rated scenes, language, and not to forget the almost completely unnecessary dance sequence featuring Sara Ali Khan.

Advice for Sara Ali Khan: Acting? Not your forte, it seems.

Pankaj Tripathi delivers in his usual style, but with some super boring lines.

Sanjay Kapoor, well, not even OTT is working for this Kapoor.

Karisma Kapoor should not have chosen this as a comeback vehicle.

Anyways, it's a complete waste of time to watch.

Boring
16 March 2024
Dunki, to cut the rest of the review short, it didn't seem like a Hirani movie at all.

The director, well, don't blame us, but he himself has set the bar higher after each and every movie.

The hallmark of Hirani's movies is that they carry humor, fun, and a message. However, Dunki has a story and a message but lacks everything else you would expect.

The biggest letdown of the movie is the ridiculous makeover of Shah Rukh Khan in the first half. He looks like a resurrected mummy, for crying out loud. Although he delivered two blockbusters this year with brainless movies, he needed a serious one to appeal to the award masses. The choice was good, but the execution by Mr. Khan himself was very poor. He should seriously consider reminding himself that he is not Raj anymore.

Taapsee Pannu, whom you would expect to elevate the film with her performance, disappoints.

All in all, I was expecting it to be much better and more memorable. Guess what? Half of the movie is already forgotten.

Bad Horrible and Crap
16 March 2024
What was that? How did Marvel Studios even approve of this? There was no coherent story, just some terribly directed scenes with a senseless and confusing plot. It was a truly disappointing experience.

It seems like the Marvel producers were preoccupied with something else, perhaps distracted by Fifty Shades, while this movie slipped through without proper review.

The storytelling was so poorly executed that even the characters seemed confused, leaving the audience just as lost as to what was happening and why.

I'm running out of negative words to conclude this review, but suffice it to say, regardless of your admiration for Dakota, watching this film would be a complete waste of time.

RIDICULOUS
14 March 2024
Funny, dont know when it was funny, where it was funny or how it was. I couldn't pitch anything from it.

Let's be frank, the theme was perfect, the story was engaging - finally, a good guy's movie after a while. The casting was solid, with Zac Efron and John Cena making a good combo. I'm not sure what the idea was behind Andrew Santino's inclusion, but nevertheless, everything seemed to be in order regarding the movie.

Now, here's the deal: the movie is completely tasteless, with only half-hearted performances and hardly anything happening at all, leaving a bad and awful taste.

The movie is a complete waste and has nothing to offer. I'm truly surprised that some people actually find it good.

Watch at your own risk.

Dont fall for the bad reviews
10 March 2024
Movies are meant for entertainment; if not for the same purpose, then why bother with them in the first place?

This movie is not based on a well-known fairy tale, but it surely feels like one. I am surprised to see some very harsh reviews labeling it as lame, but I found the movie very interesting, thrilling, and entertaining.

Some claim it was predictable; well, one can predict the end, but not how the movie will approach it.

Millie Bobby Brown, from Stranger Things to Godzilla to Enola Holmes and now this, is not only improving but delivering stronger performances one after another.

It's beautiful, it's nice, and it's full of excitement. Do watch.

A complete wow
9 March 2024
Firstly, unlike other reviewers, I will not even mention what the movie is all about. Even saying this might be considered a spoiler.

I recently watched this beautiful Netflix movie, and it was a complete weekend treat. Everything about the movie was exciting, and there was simply no dull moment in it.

Katrina Kaif was at her best; she showcased her acting skills to the max, and it was just too good.

Vijay Sethupathi, whom I first saw in "Farzi," was good, and now pairing opposite Katrina Kaif-though it may sound like some parallel universe-the actor has pulled it off magnificently.

In conclusion, don't read any reviews; they might spoil it for you. Just watch it, and you will find it much more entertaining.

8 March 2024
Come on, the reviewers are being very stringent and strict with their ratings and reviews and I am completely surprised, once again, as to why everytime there is a same situation over this platform.

Movies are supposed to be entertaining, you should leave after viewing with a smile and not with your hair pulled out in frustration.

As for this movie, well, it was good. It was funny, had some twists, and was crafted quite nicely-too nicely, in fact.

The cast was exceptional, starting with Bryce Dallas Howard, aka the "Jurassic" lady. Despite carrying some serious weight, she looked cute and performed exceptionally well in her role.

Sam Rockwell was surprisingly good in his performance, and the cherry on top was Henry Cavill.

So, all in all, it's a good watch. Just go for it.

Cant think of a title
3 March 2024
I didn't enjoy it, it was quite depressing, not a pop corn movie. As the astronaut embarked upon a lonely voyage, I watched all of that alone. It lacked entertainment and wasn't any fun. However, it did convey a message that loneliness can be a silent killer, rendering your mind mindless.

There are other similar movies where, in the pursuit of exploring the mysteries of the universe, individuals embark on distant travels to gain understanding. The significant downside is leaving behind everything you love and the one you leave behind might now always eagerly await your return.

Apart from that, there's nothing sci-fi about the movie; it's akin to watching a man in a box fighting himself. In short, it's extremely boring.

Man fighting lonliess, a million times better movie, Cast Away.

Just splendid
2 March 2024
Why don't lawyers go to the beach?

Because even the sand can't escape their scrutiny - it's always under "appeal"!

Courts serve as a forum to address various social injustices prevailing in the world. They are often viewed as a social gutter, where even minor disputes can take years to resolve.

"Maamla Legal Hai," despite the tense and tiring atmosphere commonly associated with legal proceedings, presents a captivating and humor-filled courtroom drama on Netflix. I assure you that it will not only make you laugh but also provide enjoyment from the beginning to the very end.

Episode 3, in particular, stands out as the funniest.

From Ravi Kishan to Naila Grewal to Nidhi Bisht, each actor has portrayed their roles beautifully.

Don't hesitate; just click, watch, and enjoy.

Better than the 2010 movie
25 February 2024
I haven't watched the cartoon, etc., so the movie I saw in 2010 was just completely horrible, senseless, and overall just too bad.

Now, onto the series - I had no idea what to expect. Well, it was way better than the aforementioned movie, but I was still expecting Avatar to have it all, mastering all forms. Maybe another season or two, or perhaps just one more for that.

I don't understand why producers and creators don't aim to complete a series in one go. Why do they have to drag them out? It often results in a few good scenes with one or two excellent episodes, while the others are typically boring, long conversations and just being stretched.

The same story applies here. Although every episode provides good fighting scenes and displays of power, there's also a lot of unnecessary chatter, twisting, and drama, which, for me, was the boring element.

Given the limited options on screen these days, it's still a good series to watch.

P. S.

Gordon Cormier, superb acting on his part.
