This is a chick flick feel good movie. Always important to say things while you're alive to let loved ones know how you feel.

First, I'm not a Marvel Comics Chic. Was intrigued by the Jessica Jones series, liked it, including the shows featuring Cage and wanted to give other Marvel shows a watch. I watched Luke Cage.

I'm rating this show a 7 because I like shows with black super heroes like Luke, Alfre Woodard's character, and OMG, the sound track for both seasons are D.O.P.E.!

I agree with some of the other ratings about the writing, it could be better but the fight choreography made up some of the difference. Wasn't feeling the love and argument scenes with Claire but it was necessary for the story.

Other things I liked:

• The way Diamondback said b**ch, it just slide off his tongue. I took personal offense. Pure evil. (Season 1.) Plus he had some funny jokes including the one about "Diet Obama"
• When Bushmaster injected himself with the Nightshade in Season 2 Ep.12, brotha looked like he was holding in a mean fart that would blow up the world.
• One of my favorite quotes from Season 2 is from Bushmaster, "You wanna talk about a yard with a Yardie?"

Give the show a shot, it's not all bad.

Started off a bit slow but got better around mid season 1. Alfre Woodard's character is vicious - she plays corrupt and evil so well.
