Crappy Batman for a market over saturated with Batman
9 March 2017
Batman is everywhere and so far the only truly successful characterization of a DC character in the entire DC movie/TV universe. Trying to avoid another Batman in market already over-saturated in Batman, but not wanting try anything new, we get Arrow - an awesome character that wasn't awesome enough for WB/CW and so they rewrote his background and gave him all of Batman's villains. Hence this low score review for being unoriginal. The characters are all terrible crappy versions of their comic selves.

TLDR - This show is Batman in Robin Hood Men in Tights.

Disappointing
26 May 2013
This film had potential given the topic, but fell flat. It should have a been a comedy/satire of a man who finds himself , but instead felt like Christian propaganda. In fact, if you rewrote "Bedazzled" and added elements from "The Devil's Advocate" that would have made a much better movie. The only shining star of this movie was Malcolm McDowell, but even that felt like it was being snuffed by the terrible writing. Like I said, it does feel like I'm watching a Christian film made for Christians and the Jesus/Christian music and the multiple proclamations by the protagonist of "I am a believer of Jesus Christ" does not help. As another reviewer suggested, you should watch "The Man Who Sued God" instead.

Childhood memories of a very well done film
29 July 2006
I can probably say I am one of the foremost expert of this film in the world. When I was a kid I used to watch this over at my grandparents and eventually they gave it to my parents and so I had convenience of watching it at home. I can say with absolute certainty I have watched this film well over 50 times so far and possibly over 100 times. And without subtitles! (I don't speak, read or understand Hindi, but I know this film like back of my hand magnified!) The film deals with a period of the life of Lord Krishna. It doesn't go into detail of every little thing he did, but it does cover the important milestones up until he encounters and defeats of his uncle, Kamsa. There are of course the mandatory song & dance breaks in it and while the soundtrack is limited and repetitious, but it works well in how the film roll out. Effects are only up to par as to what you would expect of an Indian film from the 70's. Overall a good film I believe.
