Kahani Rubberband Ki (2022)
Good Social message but poor execution
Kahani Rubberband Ki portrays a realistic social issue which is still seen in Indian small cities and villages.
The film is shot on real locations and I must congratulate the DOP for the excellent work. Action is average from all cast no specific extraordinary mentions.
Writing and dialogues are not as entertaining for the comedy portions.
Courtroom drama part is short but is an highlight of this 120 min long movie.
Aruna Irani and. Kanwarjeet presence is a good addition for the viewers. Editing is ok, continuity lags in several scenes and could have been handled in a better way.
Overall ok for an one time watch for the social message.
Atithi Bhooto Bhava (2022)
Extreme torture
Everything about this movie is terrible! Story, screenplay, acting, BGM in all categories it falls apart, such loud and pain for the ear BGM and even doesn't fit the occasions. Dialogues are forgettable, had to skip the scenes continuously to reach the end of this disaster. Pratik Gandhi's casting is a complete misfit for the character, only good action mention is of Sharmin Segal. Don't want to mention about Jackie Shroff, why? Why? His recent movie choices have been too dull. Even if there's no other option to watch you can still skip this one and better rewatch some other good watchable movie.
Murder by the Sea (2022)
I could not watch after an hour
This series is so so boring that I could not complete watching it after an hour. Everything was bad, script, screenplay, DOP, acting there wasn't a single positive about this series. Stay away from this one and thank me later.
Johny Bonny (2022)
Watch this for the original performances by all actors
Johny Bonny is simple but a nice watch, story is not too complicated but you can definitely enjoy due to the comic mix and good performances. Looking forward for Season 2.
Feluda Pherot (2020)
Feluda is finally back with a bang!
Frankly after watching the trailer I was disappointed, mainly due to pathetic BGM. 5 minutes within start of the S1 E1 it was clear that Feluda is back. What a superb Title track, goosebumps all over. Thanks to the director, Srijit, for such an awesome selection of cast including Feluda. Tota portrays the nostalgic character with perfection. At times the make-up of Tota seems a bit odd but it gets shadowed by such a performance. Anirban as Jatayu seems very natural, he don't have many dialogues but each and every one he has makes you laugh including mispronunciation as "kandarikar". Must mention about the efforts of Joy Sarkar about the perfect background music. If you are still thinking whether to watch or not? Just give it a shot, worth spending 150 minutes (6 episodes * 25 minutes average) during these holidays. Waiting for the season 2 now and hopefully more seasons in future.
