Piranha 3D (2010)

if your looking for a good movie you wont find it here
20 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Yes There is loads of Gore yes there is loads of nudity...however thats about all there is to this steaming pile of crap.. No Story no good script no Character Development whatsoever also has one of the lame-est ending i have ever seen...This movie plays off as a big budget girls gone wild episode with some killer pirhanas thrown in almost as an afterthought...while some of the gore affects were nice and nasty looking..a lot of the Cgi stuff was utter crap..Even the so called 3d wasn't in 3d and it shows just like Clash of the Titans..There is a few good points to the film Elizabeth Shue who did a good job and the Richard Dryfuss Cameo was Clever..however other then that this movie sucks..If they had spent more time working on a good script and giving us Characters that were worth a damn and less time or even no time on nudity and gore the movie would have probably been better...Thank god for the Original being on DVD because i can go and watch that and see what a good film is all about...Again Gore and nudity do not make a movie

An Atrocious Mess
30 April 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Once Again Platnum Dunes have Raped another Classic Film in the name of the almighty dollar. All i can say is that they should be apologizing to the fans for this unbelievable piece of crap.Freddy looked Retarded and even worse his voice was so annoying i wanted to yell shut the hell up at the screen every time he started to talk..This movie couldn't figure out what it wanted to be in places it completely Copies scenes from the original and at other times it goes off somewhere else entirely. Compared to the Original Cast i didn't give a damn if everyone died or not because none of these Wb types were anywhere near sympathetic or even halfway developed right. The Cgi gore effects in places were downright shoddy and the ending was completely predictable well the whole movie was really. The only people that could enjoy this film are todays generation of film goers who don't really have anything to call their own since this generation will be known as the generation of hacks and copycats. People that Truly loved the original first and Second Film will hate this. As for which Kreuger is Superior well hands down Robert England. I noticed someone saying how this movie is better then the rest of Platnum dunes films which isn't saying much because Crap is crap and the bottom of the barrel is the bottom of the barrel. Horror is in Serious Need of Creativity and Originality . ITs a Shame Movies like this can be put in theaters and Good Quality horror films those that have lots of Creativity and originality Such as Trick R Treat and Frontiers and Martyrs to name a few get shoved directly to Video

The Wolfman (2010)
Woe is the Wolfman
16 February 2010
Warning: Spoilers
let me start off by saying for a film thats both a remake and had a troubled production including studio interference and the lack of a inspired director...the film wasn't bad it just wasn't more then just OK either which is ashame since this film had a lot of potential..i will start by saying some good things i did find about this movie...one being the Cinematography was very well done...also it had some very nice setpieces and at times very creepy atmosphere...i did enjoy the music a lot as well...on the downside i felt that the acting while not bad was not up to the level i think it should have been for a movie like this...the plot was very disjointed and without trying to give away anything lets just say a lot of the plot and twists were so obvious from the beginning that one knew what was gonna happen next....another thing was the half ass way they explained the curse which was really quite dumb..But i think the god awful Cgi transformation sequences were the biggest let down for the film... you would think with all the technology they have today they could make more convincing Cgis personally i wish they would go back to the old school of hands on make up and special fx....its Sad to Say but American Werewolf in Londons transformation Scene was and still is The best transformation scene to ever be put on screen...and that was 28 years ago...the only movie i think i have ever seen that used Cgi in a very convincing way was Jurassic park. Another let down even though i hope that it will be restored to the film for the DVD release was the lack of on screen Carnage, i know a lot of people say this film is gory but its not and for those that think it is probably haven't seen many horror films or films with loads of gore..While i agree that a film can be good without gore....the fact that the director and crew on numerous occasions in different magazines and Articles stated this movie was given a Hard R rating for the Werewolf Carnage what else could it have been for since the film doesn't have any harsh language really and no nudity at all...however i think those in power at the studios chose to Tone the film down because all the Carnage happens so quickly you don't really get to see much of anything at all...Even the one death Scene they do show fully isn't much i mean for a Decapitation it was pretty damn bloodless...Overall the movie is just OK was it the worst film I've seen no far from it but it was a huge letdown and could have been so much better
