Weird Loners (2015)
10/10
Refreshingly brilliant
1 April 2015
Following the end of the much beloved "How I Met Your Mother" I was desperately seeking a comedy with the right amount of 'crazy', funny and stupid and it's safe to say I found it in 'Weird Loners'. After the abrupt end of 'Selfie' which I quite liked we were deprived of the sweet 20 minutes to ponder on life. But there we have it again, a new chance presented to us by this fresh newcomer show, which despite the short run time can both put a smile on our faces and make us think on and maybe even reconsider our life choices. 10/10 from me and I sure do hope they keep it on air for as long as possible, because in the midst of most superficial shows nowadays we desperately need this breath of fresh air!

Sleepy Hollow (2013–2017)
10/10
A Magical Experience
18 March 2015
An enthralling tale somewhere between Charmed, Angel and The Vampire Diaries...with some history mixed in it. Icabod Crane wakes up in the 21 century and is shocked to find the Headless Horseman still roaming the streets. A much bigger mystery unravels while the dangers in Sleepy Hollow are at their highest. An unimaginable evil, much greater than the Headless Horseman will force Icabod and company to fight until they exhaust their every resource. If you love stories about demons and mystical creatures packed with a lot of action, drama, adventure and just a dash of horror, this is definitely your show. You also wouldn't miss on the classic well- manneredness of the gentlemen from the 1700s.

Mr Selfridge (2013–2016)
10/10
A Period Drama Worth Watching
4 February 2013
When I first read about the show I was skeptical, but I found I fell in love with it from first view. The way the story is distributed among multiple characters is definitely something you don't see every day, or at least not with the quality that "Mr Selfridge" has. I'm reminded how relationships run on the fast track, how they lack foundation and are never really secure, how decisions are made on a whim, when you're overwhelmed or when you feel you need more from life that you're currently getting. The fact that everyone is susceptible to passion and making mistakes is at the core of all human beings and the cast of the show portray it beautifully through a much needed emotional acting that most shows fail to provide. The splendor of the fashion world and the eagerness of the workers reveal the inner beauty of times long gone. Mr Selfridge has become one of my favourite period dramas and I have high hopes for its future.
