Two and a half hour of mega-masala
27 October 2023
Absolutely not recommended. There is no story, no proper background, there was just special effects and exaggerated acting. Please do not, I repeat do not waste your time and energy towards this muck. The story starts off with a family experiencing problems who inturn is suggested to perform rituals at their deity's temple by a guru. They rent a mansion to perform the rituals and experience strange events during their stay. One of the family members begins acting like a maniac and tries to put the lives of the others in danger. At that time another family member too begins to act in a weird manner to end a historical feud. The film ends with a possible hint to a sequel which no one would want. 1/10.

Hello! Mein Pooja bol rahi hun
9 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Another film on a practical concept by. Raaj Shaandilyaa. In this film the character. Karam played by Ayushmann Khurrana plays the role of a tele-marketing agent who begins impersonating the voice of a girl and cold calls people. He calls people under the alias "Pooja". The voice becomes a sensation among the customers and they begin to develop a liking for Pooja. It goes to such an extent that a teenage boy, a dairy farmer, a police constable, and a lady boss begin to take a liking for him. The voice also captures the attention of Karam's father who starts to like Pooja and wants to marry her. Karam, discusses his predicament with his friend Smiley, as it begins to affect his personal love life. His girlfriend. Mahi also starts suspecting him for cheating on her. Karam and Smiley devise ways to drive off all the customers who had fallen for the voice of Pooja, this included his father. However, this plan doesn't work and leads to those people even drawing closer to Pooja. Karam then decides to open out the matter to Mahi who tells him to leave his tele-marketing job first. After having left the tele-marketing job, Karam invites all his customers to a "Radhe-Krishna" drama and makes them realise that they had fallen for his trick of voice impersonation. Finally, all the people who fell for Pooja's dulcet voice, decide to get on with their lives. Karam makes it clear in the end that Pooja only acted as a psychological counselor and not as what was thought by others. Having said that and making things clear to everybody, in the end, Karam and Mahi decide to continue with their love life. A movie that was taken in a practical, Indian house-hold context. Very talented display by Ayushmann and Nushrratt. Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz and. Rajesh Sharma play important side roles. A ten out of ten in my opinion.

Death Wish of the South Indian Cinema
3 March 2023
This is the story of Professor Vijay, who gets caught in the middle of a gangster's business operation, who in turn uses his influence to kill the Professor's mother and rape his sister. With nowhere left to go, the Professor takes law into his own hands and goes on a revenge killing spree. The Professor is suspected of unexplainable murders happening in the city by a detective, Singaram. Finally, the Professor executes all those who were involved in the brutal rape and murder, including the racket leader.

Detective Singaram understands the Professor's situation and helps him get released when convicted of murder. The Detective convinces the Judge by putting him in a situation similar to that of the Professor's. In that circumstance, the Judge realizes that whatever the Professor did was correct and human. Professor Vijay is freed eventually by the Judicial System and allowed to walk free.

This is the story of a righteous kill in a revenge-related plot. This shares similar plots with the Hollywood film Death Wish and the Hindi film, Aaj Ki Awaaz (which again is a remake of Death Wish for the Indian audience).

An acceptable ending with over-the-top action scenes. Seven out of ten rating.

a righteous kill with the plot of a typical 70s movie
3 March 2023
The story of a boy who grows up with the trauma of his parent's murder, and exacts revenge on the person who committed the murder, and the murderer happens to be a family friend, who had killed the boy's parents due to professional jealousy.

The Villain's role Robert, played by Thengai Srinivasan and the Hero's role Vijay, played by Rajinikanth engage in a cat-and-mouse game throughout this film with Vijay eventually tracking the secret hide-out of Robert, followed by a chase sequence and an eventual battle leading to Vijay slaying Robert in circumstances that would give one vertigo.

A below par movie with a poor direction overall. Four out of ten.

A must watch family drama
23 February 2023
This movie revolves around the lives of Mohit Chadda played by Ayushmann Khuranna and Mayera Sehgal played by Sonam Kapoor, whose marriage gets stalled by Mayera's father Vinod Kumar Sehgal played by Rishi Kapoor, who believes in his own rules and ideas. The overall theme of this movie is comedic due to the tussle between Mohit and Mayera's father throughout. This is brought out by Ayushmann's meticulous acting performance and also by Rishi Kapoor's comedic way of dealing with his future son-in-law. Finally the duo of Mayera and Mohit are united under favorable circumstances giving the movie a subtle ending. Overall a 10 out of 10 for the story, romance and ending.

A very practical and hearty romance
23 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
A very practical and hearty romance, with Ayushmann Khurrana.playing the role of an average, middle-class husband, Prem Tiwari who doesn't like his married life. On the other hand, his wife, Sandhya, played by. Bhumi Pednekar is an educated and timid woman. The climax of the movie happens when Prem explicitly insults Sandhya in front of his friends and calls their relationship nauseous. Sandhya slaps Prem on hearing his abuses which in turn leads him to retort immediately. This leads to Sandhya leaving Prem for good and deciding to take a divorce. The rest of the movie is about how they take their relationship matter legally and eventually re-bonding. This is a very practical concept and light-hearted movie which is a must watch for anyone who likes traditional romance and family values. A deserving 10/10 from my side. 👍

Childhood Favorite
27 January 2023
I must have seen this more than 100 times in my life. Still I want to watch this film when I realize who truly I am. That is when I get motivation from this film and decide to move forward in life. The movie talks about four look-alikes Michael, Madan, Kameshwaran and Rajan who in their respective professions bump into each other and realize that they are brothers. They were divided by their wicked uncle, united by destiny. From 1992 till 2022, I must of seen this film multiple times and each time I see this film there is something else to appreciate about it. A classic comedy featuring Kamal Hassan in four roles. 10/10.

Good story with some masala scences
27 January 2023
Good story, talks about our education system and it's flaws. I rated it mainly because of Arjun's acting and the explanation given by him about our education system's inability to tap the potential of children from lower middle class background. Also Sivakarthikeyan has played the role of a caped crusader and also a responsible brother. The climax of the movie is when Abhay Deol enters the scene and makes his intentions clear. Other charecters such as the actress, extras etc. Only have a minor role to play in the movie. But if you see it from the overall picture, 10/10 is on the higher side. I rated it so.

Bean (1997)
10/10
The best build-up to Mr.Bean's character
6 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Bean the ultimate disaster movie is something that can be watched multiple times by ardent fans of the Bean Character.

The movie starts with Mr. Bean getting ready for work in a series of incidents involving himself shaving, making coffee and drinking it up hurriedly. Meanwhile, the. Grierson gallery of Los Angeles acquires the portrait of Whistler's mother, making it one of its most priced acquisitions. The National Art Gallery of London discuss their need to dismiss Mr. Bean from his duties as the security guard finding him shabby at work. They also bring up their need to send one of their representatives to the US to get valuable insights about the portrait of Whistler's mother. When the Council bring up Mr. Bean's dismissal to the Chairman of the National Art Gallery, he remains firm on keeping Mr. Bean as he had personally handpicked him and would quit the gallery if they go anywhere near him. The Council come up with another proposal where they'd send Mr. Bean to the US instead of one of their professors. All the members delightfully vote in favor of this proposal. David Langley, junior manager at the Grierson gallery offers to accommodate Dr. Bean at his place during the latter's stay. Mr. Bean leaves for the US in business class, where he accidentally splatters vomit on one of his co-passengers to cheer up a boy nearby. As he arrives at the Los Angeles airport, he gets mistaken for being in possession of a concealed weapon by the airport security and gets arrested. Mr. Bean gets a firm warning from the officer in charge, advising him to seek medical help. Later when Mr. Bean arrives at the Langley residence, he gets mistaken for an art scholar of high stature. David admires Dr. Bean for his accolades while his wife Alison doesn't like his presence, David's daughter Jennifer storms out of the room and his son Kevin gets mesmerized by Dr. Bean's tricks. He however takes to his mother's side in getting rid of Dr. Bean. The next day, David takes Dr. Bean to the Grierson art gallery where Bean feels out of place. In the bathroom he ends up spilling water all over himself unaware of turning the taps. In an attempt to dry himself, he comes across a chubby marketing manager who pleasantly wishes Bean. Bean then burns his hands holding a light bulb in an attempt to cover up his antics. He once again spills water all over himself while trying to cool down. At the meeting room, Bean gets introduced to the director of the gallery Mr. George Grierson, his assistant Bernice, the same marketing manager Walter whom Bean had met earlier in the bathroom. Bean hides behind David to cover-up the water stain on his trousers, which Mr. Grierson finds strange. He also makes effort to dry himself up from a fan nearby much to the dismay of David. Eventually, after discussing plans about the unveiling ceremony of Whistler's mother, Mr. Grierson takes leave of David and Dr. Bean describing it as a complex experience. When David returns home, he finds his wife and children ready to leave for their Grandma's place after seeing Dr. Bean. David convinces Alison to stay back which soon backfires when Bean accidentally destroys their family portrait, trying to turn the TV on. As Alison leaves with the kids, David is set to spend the weekend with Dr. Bean who surprisingly tells David to take him to the Amusement park instead of Art galleries and museums. David takes Dr. Bean to the amusement park where they take a virtual roller coaster ride. Bored by the experience, Bean asks David to get tickets for another round. He tampers with the controls of the ride resulting in commotion the second time. Bean gets arrested and is produced to the same officer who had earlier cleared him at the airport. The officer warns David that if he catches Bean the next time it would get really nasty. Holding David responsible, he releases Dr. Bean. Back home, David suspects Dr. Bean's credentials on art but then the doorbell rings and David finds Mr. Grierson and his wife. Having forgotten about inviting them, David re-assures the couple that he'd be cooking them dinner with Dr. Bean. David rushes to the kitchen where Bean tells him to cook the thanksgiving turkey. After stuffing the turkey in the microwave and setting the timer for 20 minutes, Bean serves cut onions as appetizers to Mr & Mrs. Grierson. They refuse it and Mr. Grierson after having suspected Bean earlier, questions him on his knowledge of arts, but before he could finish, a beeping sound and an explosion take place, shattering the microwave completely. Alison returns and leaves immediately finding her messy kitchen and Dr. Bean. David after having had enough, questions the Doctor on modern art to which Bean replies that he knew nothing of it. Bean also tells David that Leonardo Da Vinci is indeed an American basketball player when asked. David drops his head in agony with the song 'Yesterday' from 'The Beatles' playing in the background.

The next day David gets a shock of his life while showering where he finds Dr. Bean alongside him in the shower. Bean beats David to answering the phone and tells the caller that David is in the shower with him. David snatches the phone and clarifies the situation coming to know that the portrait of Whistler's mother has arrived at the gallery. David tells Bean to behave rationally and not get himself into trouble while driving. At the gallery, David gets mesmerized by the portrait to which Bean replies that it has a nice frame. Bean gets left behind when a security meeting was called, and he accidentally sneezes at the portrait after inhaling dust settled on it. In an attempt to wipe off the mark, Bean smudges the painting with his pen ink, spoiling it. Bean then conceals the painting and takes it to the storeroom where he finds a tin of lacquer thinner. He applies it on the ink marks and removes the ink patch only to find the substance dissolving the painting's colors, which gets even worse when Bean scrubs it. Bean hurriedly takes it back to the display where he meets David struck in utter horror. David anticipates the consequences of leaving Bean alone with the portrait and goes into a state of trauma. They then put back the portrait and leave the room where David decides to drink. At the bar, David evaluates all the possible consequences he'd face and wishes he were never born. The duo sings their way back home where David meets Alison who tells him that she might divorce him. That night Kevin invites Bean to his room where he has many adult posters which sparks an idea inside Bean. He dresses up like a ninja carrying a bottle of laxative, eggs, two bottles of nail polish remover, torch, hair dryer, paint brush, paper cutter, chewing gums and Kevin's roller-skate. He stealthily sneaks into the gallery and distracts the guard at the surveillance room. While distracted, Bean spikes the guard's coffee with laxative and changes keys to the restroom. Hiding in a room nearby, he sees the guard getting an urge to relieve himself after coffee. Bean then sneaks into the storeroom, retrieves a poster, enters the display, and unhinges the painting. He cuts out the old one and uses chewing gums to fit the poster on the canvas. He also brushes it with egg-yolk and nail polish remover and blow dries it. He successfully replaces the painting while the guard agonizingly tries to break into the restroom to relieve himself. Bean leaves the gallery triumphantly, pumping his fist up and ramming it against the gallery signpost. The next day, David tries stopping her daughter from going on a motorcycle with her boyfriend, but she ignores him. David nervously evaluates the consequences while driving to the gallery and ignores Bean trying to tell him something. At the gallery they meet General Newton, a patriotic ex-military man who had paid $ 50 million to acquire the painting. David becomes more and more nervous as General Newton goes on to unveil the painting. To his utter astonishment, the painting remains intact and David thanks Bean for saving him. Then Bean gives a short but clever narration of the portrait with a touch of humor impressing the crowd and General Newton in the process. Just when David asks Bean where he had put the original, the police officer breaks news of his daughter's motorcycle accident. On the way to the hospital, the police stop to attend to a car-jacking incident instructing David to keep speeding. A shot is fired as David drives on. As David reaches the hospital, he is directed by the receptionist to his daughter's admission ward. On the way to the admission ward David orders Bean to stay back as he always is calamitous. Bean empathizes with David and stays back, just then Bean gets mistaken for a surgeon as he tries to return a dropped stethoscope. Bean gets dressed in a surgeon's attire and is directed to the operating room. He sees the shot police officer who immediately collapses after Bean greets him. While left alone, Bean removes the bullet impaled on the officer and quickly replaces it retrieving his dropped jellybean. As the operating crew arrives, Bean pushes them aside and removes the bullet with expert like precision much to the amazement of them all. David also mistakes Bean for a real surgeon and asks him to check on his daughter. Bean while avoiding eye-contact sees an unconscious Jennifer. He tries CPR on her but ends up getting thrown onto Jennifer who recovers from her coma. David and Alison are bemused to see Bean saving Jennifer as a Doctor and offer to stay with them for a week. Bean explores the whole city of LA with David and picks up an offensive sign which he thinks as a sign of greeting. He then flashes it to the David family as he takes leave of them. At the airport, Bean hugs David and bids him an emotional farewell. On reaching England, Bean is found going to bed with Teddy with the original painting of Whistler's mother hung on their wall.

A film that can always be watched on a light note. It's a 10 on 10.

Following the attack, MI7 orders all of it's senior agents to be reinstated. Johnny English, who becomes a geography teacher post retirement gets a letter from MI7 needing his services as a spy. Johnny drives to MI7 headquarters in London and finds himself in a room with some of MI7's senior most agents. When one of MI7's agents uses his fountain pen gadget which happens to be a sleeping gas explosive, Johnny too is given the same pen to sign his contract. Johnny accidentally drops the pen cap into a tea cup and gets called by Pegasus for further instructions. In a hurry to replace the pen cap, Johnny mistakenly.leaves the pen in the room with the agents and rushes to meet Pegasus. The pen explodes, knocking out all the agents leaving only Johnny English behind. Pegasus takes in Johnny as all the other agents were found unconscious lying on the sofa. Johnny requests Pegasus to supply him all the MI7's gadgets as he decides to approach this mission devoid of technology. He also requests Pegasus to send Colin Bough along with him for the mission. Johnny and Bough leave MI7 headquarters with all of MI7's gadgets and descriptions. They first reach south of France where the MI7 attacks were reported to be launched. Johnny and Bough find the device responsible for launching the attack to be in the possession of a celebrity dining at a French restaurant. Johnny and Bough disguise themselves as waiters and recover the gadget which happens to be a smart phone. In the process of recovering the phone, Johnny accidentally sets the restaurant on fire and in the midst of the commotion sneaks away from the scene. On reviewing the photos from the smart phone it is found that there is a ship called 'Dot Calm' which was responsible for the attacks launched on MI7. Johnny and Bough decide to infiltrate the ship and try placing a tracking device into the servers operating there. Johnny and Bough reveal themselves while trying to sneak into the ship and get caught by the ship's captain, Ophelia Bhuletova. They get imprisoned as a result of this goof-up and Johnny uses his explosive cotton bud to break open the cell. The ship's crew gets alerted by Johnny's antics and begins to pursue the duo. Johnny infiltrates the server room with Bough and plants the tracking device on the server. Bough pushes Johnny's car all the way to the hotel. They somehow reach the hotel for their date with Ophelia. At the bar, Ophelia reveals herself as the personal bodyguard of. Jason and tries diverting Johnny away from the subject of discussion. Bough tells Johnny that he found out Ophelia to be a spy with three passports and ammunition in her possession. Johnny rubbishes away Bough's warnings and gets to bed. Unable to sleep, Johnny accidentally consumes high energy pills instead of his sleeping medicines. Ophelia gets instruction to kill Johnny from HQ as he remains an obstacle to her. Ophelia tries killing Johnny but fails as Johnny becomes hyperactive and dances through the night. The next day Johnny and Bough meet Pegasus along with the Prime minister seeking an update on Johnny's mission. However they reject Johnny's claims of Jason Volta being responsible for the cyber attacks. The Prime minister also tells Johnny to keep away from Jason as She has an important meeting with the global leaders where Jason would be presenting some of the technological innovations. Johnny tries to infiltrate Jason's mansion to get some concrete evidence against him. Johnny engages in a virtual reality game to anticipate the security measures at the mansion and deploys measures to counter them through the same. Accidentally, Johnny leaves the virtual reality enclosure and ends up causing commotion outside. Johnny and Bough prepare for infiltrating Jason's mansion and reach it's premise. Johnny surprisingly finds Ophelia in the mansion revealing herself as a spy. She interrogates Johnny on his agenda. Johnny reveals himself to be an MI7 agent and borrows Ophelia's phone to record Jason's plans of another cyber attack on the internet. Johnny accidentally presses the music button and ends up playing Rasputin, alerting Jason. Ophelia captures Johnny and brings him to Jason who tells Johnny that he has heard a lot about him and also how he stealthily sneaked into his mansion along with Bough, who is now being chased by the mansion's guard dogs. Johnny snatches the phone from Ophelia and rushes towards the exit with Jason on his trail. Johnny somehow exits the mansion gates which Jason orders to be shut to prevent Johnny from escaping. Johnny commandeers a driving school car and uses his driving skills to escape the situation. Jason agonizingly loses trail of Johnny after being blocked by a bulldozer. Johnny reaches the MI7 headquarters and while exiting the car he accidentally takes the driver's phone instead of his phone with the recorded evidence. Johnny along with Bough present their evidence to the Prime minister and Pegasus. But to his dismay, the video happens to be from a birthday party of the driver instead of the recording at Jason's mansion. The Prime minister fires Johnny for trying to defame her reputation and at the same time tarnishing MI7's capabilities. Johnny, while leaving gets called by Bough who tells Johnny that with the help of his wife Lydia who captains a submarine, they can stop Jason from launching the cyber attack remotely from the vessel 'Dot Calm'. Lydia takes Johnny and Bough to the meeting at Scotland's Lochness castle and Johnny tries to enter Jason's room to confront him with his armor plated jacket. In the chamber, Ophelia tries to poison Jason and collect evidence against him. Jason anticipates Ophelia's plans beforehand and tries shooting her, Johnny breaks into Jason's room and gets his braces tangled in the window pane. As Johnny approaches Jason he gets slingshot in to the sea due to the tangled braces. Ophelia somehow fights her way out of Jason's hold while Bough saves Johnny from drowning. Bough gives Johnny the walkie-talkie for communication with the submarine to launch the attack on 'Dot Calm' where Johnny had planted a tracking device earlier.

At the meeting it gets revealed that Jason had different plans who holds the members of the meeting at gun point, so that he can launch his cyber attack on the internet by controlling the servers from 'Dot Calm'. Around the same time Johnny calls MI7 to reveal the pass code for the submarine attack. In a goof up, the submarine also calls MI7 and in a conference call receives the pass code from Johnny which happens to be the same for it's missile launch. The submarine launches it's missile and ends up blowing up the 'Dot Calm' vessel thereby making Jason's attack futile. Jason realizing that it's almost game over for him, rushes towards the helipad for a quick get away. In the mean time Johnny wearing an armored suit slowly proceeds to stop him. Ophelia assists Johnny to track Jason and Johnny walks in robotic manner towards the helipad. Ophelia hands Johnny the tablet from which he can disable the security systems of the chopper Jason will be escaping on. Johnny unable to figure out hurls the tablet at Jason knocking him out in the process. The remote device meant to execute the attack from Jason's back up server farm gets destroyed by Johnny to abort the attack. Johnny and Bough along with Ophelia reach the meeting room where they get felicitated by the world leaders. Johnny accidentally drops the armor leggings while trying to unfasten his belt and ends up revealing himself to everyone. Ophelia and Bough somehow cover up Johnny and the press snaps the photo of the successful trio.

After successfully completing the mission, Johnny resumes teaching geography and spying tactics to children in his community school. He displays his MI7 gadgets to the children and the school principal comes to congratulate Johnny for his successful mission. However, the principal accidentally picks up one of the jellies from the MI7 toolkit, thinking that it is a regular jelly he consumes it. The film closes with Johnny's face struck in horror as the jelly consumed by the principal happens to be an explosive one.

Though this film lacked the humorous aspects of the previous versions, it retained some of the elements from the original version of the Johnny English series. It's an overall 9 out of 10.

The wife narrates her incident to the inspector who instructs her to have got rid of him permanently. The wife refuses to do the act herself and instead tells the inspector to get it done. That night the inspector sneaks into the pianist's place and tries to choke him with a wire and in turn make it look like a suicide, the pianist escapes the attempted murder by bludgeoning the inspector on the head with an iron box and runs away to the streets. He bangs himself against the lamp post and falls down unconscious. The inspector loses trail of the pianist and leaves the place. The pianist gets taken to the clinic by a rickshaw driver and his wife. The doctor assures the pianist that he will be treated by an ophthalmologist that evening and advises him to take rest. The doctor plots with the rickshaw driver and his wife to surgically remove the pianist's kidneys and in turn sell them for a large price. The pianist assures them that they would be getting an even larger sum of money if they listened to him. He tells them that by abducting the millionaire's wife, they could demand a hefty ransom from her daughter. Thus, the four of them plot a kidnap plan where the pianist would lead the millionaire's wife to a secluded location, where they can abduct her easily. They carry out the plan successfully and tie up the millionaire's wife to a wheelchair. The pianist tells them to call the inspector blackmailing him of his involvement in the murder and asks him to deliver the ransom at a destined address. The inspector accepts their proposal and promises to pay the ransom in exchange of the evidence and the millionaire's wife. In the meantime, the rickshaw driver and his wife tie up the pianist and go independently to collect the ransom. The millionaire's wife and the pianist happen to be held restrained in the same room where the millionaire's wife tells him that they can untie themselves and work cooperatively. At first, she unties the pianist who in turn removes the scarf tied on the wife's eyes. The wife double crosses him by misdirecting him and making him crash on to the nearby furniture. At that time, the doctor arrives, and he gets attacked by the millionaire's wife with a crutch. The pianist rushes after the noises made by the doctor and somehow catches hold of the millionaire's wife. The doctor applies chloroform on the millionaire's wife and gets her unconscious. The doctor and the pianist lock the wife's unconscious body in the car boot. In the meantime, the inspector arrives at the ransom drop location and sends the money bag by lift to the rickshaw driver. The inspector rushes to the floor specified by the rickshaw driver by stairs and finds him counting the money. The inspector shoots the rickshaw driver and goes after the rickshaw driver's wife who happens to be in the basement. Since the inspector takes the elevator, the driver alerts his wife of the inspector's arrival by lift. She immediately shuts off the power rendering the lift immobile. The inspector gets stuck in the lift without any immediate help available to him. The rickshaw driver's wife takes her husband to the hospital by rickshaw and asks the doctors there to attend to him immediately. As she opens the money bag, she finds the money bag containing paper notes. The inspector had fooled them by placing the real note on top of the bundle with the other notes in the bundle being paper notes. Now the doctor and the pianist drive off on a deserted highway and discuss using the millionaire's wife as an organ donor for transplanting liver and cornea, respectively. The doctor tells the pianist that he will use the wife's liver to transplant the liver of the sheikh's daughter in Dubai and her cornea to bring back the pianist's lost eyesight. The pianist does not agree to the doctor's proposition and instead decides to act justly. At the same time, they hear knocks coming from the car boot and the doctor stops the car to investigate. The movie then fast forwards to two years from the present date where the pianist's ex-lover comes across a piano concert by the same pianist at an undisclosed location in Europe. The show goes quite well and at the end of the show, the pianist gets complimented by his ex-lover, the girl. They both have coffee after the show with the girl asking him about his side of the story. The pianist narrates that the millionaire's wife had killed the doctor at the deserted highway while he went to investigate the noise. The wife then kicked the blind pianist out of the car and attempted to kill him by running the car over him but as a result of a butterfly effect, a hare happened to jump on to the car windshield and the wife lost control and the car she drove skidded off the highway and in turn going up in flames. So-saying he narrates the full story that transpired after the series of blackmailing events. He promises to invite her for his next concert and bids goodbye to her. But as he walks off the scene, it is revealed that his eyesight has been restored and he can see clearly as before leaving the audience thinking as to what really had happened after the car stopped at the deserted highway. It can be assumed that he had got the corneal transplant done somehow living to tell the tale. A murder story followed by series of blackmailing events in turn followed by an ending that puzzles the audience as to what had happened really. Overall a nine out of ten for exceptional acting performances by Ayushmann Khurana and Tabu in their respective roles. Excellent story.

Excellent film directed by Robert de Niro and excellent acting by Robert de Niro, Chazz Paliminteri. The boy played by Lillo Brancato also acted very well. But there is only one drawback which is the use of strong language and violence to portray the life of American gangsters otherwise a good film. Overall a 9 out of 10.

Read the plot before watching this film. Excellent one coupled with good performance by Shahid Kapoor playing the role of a drug addicted rapper and Alia Bhatt playing the role of a migrant worker. Also great performances by Diljit playing the role of a cop and Kareena Kapoor playing the role of a doctor. This movie mainly spreads awareness about the cross-border exchange of drugs near the Punjab border thereby rendering many Punjabi youths addicted to drug. The clean up operation of the Punjab police force assisted by the Doctor who spreads awareness to the Punjab farmers about the ill-effects of drugs forms the climax of this movie.
