Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster (2023)
Too Much Rochelle
I was interested in learning more about Jarod and what lead to his demise but felt like this was not so much a documentary about him but rather a story about this woman Rochelle and how she became obsessed with him to the point that she jeopardized her own kids' safety. I could barely get through the show. I became more and more annoyed that she was making everything about her, despite her claim that she was doing all this "investigating" for the sake of others' (children's) safety. I feel sorry for the victims and those hurt by this and wish "documentary" shared more about Jarod. I'd skip watching this show. It was a waste of time.
Ted Lasso (2020)
I promise you'll LOVE It
My boyfriend was the one to suggest is watching this. I am not a big sport movie or show fan, but was willing to watch. I am so glad I did! This show pulls at your heart strings, makes you laugh and inspires you. The characters are so unique and lovable and there is no way you can watch this show and not appreciate it. Honestly, you'll love it!
Lost Girls (2020)
Just ok- what's up with the accent?
The show drags out a bit. Characters are difficult to like, but the mom does a good job portraying a desperate mother with baggage. I don't understand the daughter's talking at all. Is it an accent. I hated every scene she was in.
Overall, good premise. Just fell short of being good.
Dead to Me (2019)
I had to write a review
This is a bit of everything. Honest. Dark. Light. Realistic. Humorous. Christina Applegate is perfection as well as the entire cast. I love the relationships and character development. I cry. I laugh. I'm angered.
