Hotel Portofino (2022)
Average and boring
This looked promising as it was compared to Downton Abbey. The scenery is beautiful. However, nothing really happens. The storyline is boring. Actually I'm only at episode 4 and I have fallen asleep several times when watching this show. It's a pity.
Destination Wedding (2018)
Boring
I was looking forward to watching this romantic comedy because I like Winona & Keanu. However, I had to stop it after 30 minutes. Nothing really happens in the movie. It's a long, boring and exhausting dialogue between two characters...
No Time to Die (2021)
Loved it! But the ending...
I really loved this movie! Even though it's long I felt entertained all the way through. Craig has become even more charismatic and mature and I love that we get to see his emotional and softer side as well.
Also, there's a good mixture of action, romance and talking so that it's not all action scenes. The film is shot in beautiful places and the cinematography is amazing.
The only thing I was disappointed with was the ending... Although I understand why they did that and it was a worthy exit for Craig it was too sad. How can they kill off the main character, the hero? IMO, Bond can never die.
I expected a happy ending... Still, it's a great movie and I love Craig in the role of Bond. I'm very curious how they will continue the Bond films from here and the next Bond has so much to live up to!
Dune (2021)
Long and boring
Very dark, long and gloomy movie... Too many names of planets and people in the beginning that you can't remember. Most of the movie is shot in darkness. I almost fell asleep half way through. Too much talking and little action. Although I sympathised with the main character you never really get the emotional connection. I was thinking "why should I care?". I guess I expected a film a la Star Wars, bit it's not that kind of movie. I was looking forward to when it would end.
Suits (2011)
Loved the show!
For many month I have been watching Suits. And last night I watched the last episode...
Do you know this feeling that the characters of a TV show become part of your life and you also become part of their story? It's fascinating... and addictive.
The show is smart, witty, funny, serious and so much more. It's about law, love, money, power, relationships, family... It's glamorous and not very realistic, but who cares, it's entertaining.
Sometimes it's too much about the law and legal cases and too little about the personal stuff and the characters' feelings. It's also a bit dragging that Harvey and Donna first find each other in the last season. But it builds up until the final season.
I found season 8 a bit flat, cold and boring. But loved season 9. And the ending is happy, romantic and bittersweet... Perfect. Everything comes together.
I'm sad it's over... But I secretly hope that they will continue the show. If not now then maybe later.
Goodbye for now... <3.
Suits: Managing Partner (2018)
Season 8
Watching season 8 and it's soooo boring.... After some main characters exited the show (Jessica, Mike, Rachel) it's become flat. I can barely get through the episodes. I'm also missing the personal life and aspects of the characters! It's all about the law firm and only very little about their love life or personal life. No flirting, romance or personal stuff, which made Suits interesting in the first place. Watching this season I realize why they had to finish the show after 9 seasons...
Hjem til jul (2019)
Heart warming rom-com
I loved this cute, romantic Christmas comedy. Very sweet and funny story. Reminded me of Love Actually. The only thing I didn't like was the end. Such a cliffhanger. :-( Who was at the door? I hope the reason for this cliffhanger is that there will be a second season... otherwise the end is just an anti-climax. :-(
