I have no proof - but i talk truth.

Wow ! I mean where to begin with this.... out of this world goodness from M. Night Shyamalan,, the guy knows his stuff.... His latest movie is better than probably all of movies combined of the last decade - and i mean it ! He is back to making very good movies again since 2000s . You can judge this movie all day, how you want , but one thing is for sure , this movie delivers on all fronts. Everything The Story, the acting, the actors, cinematography, dialog, sound effects, visual effects, and the ending ? Well its just Majestic. Dave Bautista really pushes this movie to infinity and beyond.. No matter what you do ,please watch this movie now.

A melodramatic future nobody want's to live in.
17 February 2023
...... Well now I will be as honest as I can ever be...It's one of those cases when the trailer was sensational and the tv show is just nowhere near it, too simple and sad. I mean it's predictable ok? And just plain boring. Was expecting so much more from this...like some action scenes but it's too melodramatic for my taste i'm afraid... , three episodes in and it's still stuck in this weird and sleepy drama from start to finish....so I'm not sure I will finish the series...but maybe one more episode i will watch . I just hope they come up with something new and far more imaginative than this.

A sense of disorientation and unease.
17 February 2023
Well.. this movie is a bit strange.... it lands somewhere between Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits... I mean this film tries very hard yo make you believe in what's happening but ultimately gives up on the idea, and just lives you in limbo to be honest..... It is suspense, a bit horror as well, lots of violence but violence, and gore adds nothing new to the genre. Yes its this sort of new concept, and it shows, but executed in a dull manner and not very inspirational...Now....i did like the camera work,,, very good cinematography. As for the actors , well , Mia Goth is truly believable in all her roles to be honest. So yeah good concept but somewhat unfinished.

Superb Visuals but too much drama.

Warning: Spoilers
Sang-ho Yeon is one of my favorite south Korean director..and I truly admire all of his work , Hellbound, Yeom-lyeok , Peninsula and especially the legendary Train to Busan. But this, this Jung_E is just nowhere near his past successes. I mean is ok but it reminds just too many movies in one. You've got Edge of tomorrow, Elysium, Robocop, and especially Ghost in the Shell, so....yeah ......look.... let me put it this way. If you haven't seen all of the above mentioned movies , then this will be a great movie for you....the actors did a good job , effects and graphics are topnotch here,,..so yeah its a good movie but to be honest I'm waiting on Hellbound season 2. Summary: Visually Stunning, Weak known story.

Unusual sci-fi but convincing enough.
7 January 2023
It embraces an eerie and enigmatic tone that subsequently gets turned on its head, First half drags a bit but there's a neat twist about halfway through and then you're in for a hell of a ride until the final credits. Its a great movie , especially the ending, i mean you rarely see an ending like this in movies these days that makes so much sense. The lead performances were more than acceptable, Maika Monroe is very convincing and fits well into her role. There are many twists that made me re-watch a few scenes over and over again. Good cinematography for such a low budget movie. Significant Other delivers tense and entertaining moments, that are direct and to the point.

A true gothic macabre story.
7 January 2023
Reminds me of Tim Burton's The legend of Sleepy Hallow. Its not as dark and scary as Burton's movie , but it is somehow more mature and realistic science wise. Great cinematic appeal , what makes it beautiful is this chilly, gothic lonely and at times frozen in time scenery which is breathtaking in this movie. No fake Green studious or design sets and obvious film stages, its all real nature with rich scenes. Its a A dark mystery that cuts deep, and leaves you empty once you understand the painful ending. Bale did good , getting old with his skills but he delivers. All in all this movie is worth two hours of your time.

The Myst , the Ocean , but no Cthulhu.
7 January 2023
Well its good , its not necessarily horror, but its very mystical, it has this really interesting premise, great cast too. I am 4 episodes in, and still have no clue as to what ending to expect. However the bad things to consider here is that sometimes, locations are very obvious sets, and the show's special effects could be better. With just three of the six episodes. Thriller element is present as well,, Danger is everywhere, and at times its not exactly explained how or what it might be. As the story develops you are left with guesses , and there are not many chose from, and that's a good thing , as many will come with their own theories which is great tbh.

Too different in tone, compared to first movie.
24 December 2022
The first Knives out was way clever, this was predictable and dumb. Didn't enjoy the cast of characters as much as the first one. Story was just okay as well. Worth a watch but doesn't match the original. Some good lines, here and there , hell of a expensive production sets, values, but ultimately rather dull and pointless unless you're a fan of Agatha Christie type mysteries. Lots of unnecessary cliches . If it was stand alone movie it would probably be a 7 star. Nevertheless worth watching. Weak points ? More comedic than the first one, And a lot less mysterious. That's the nature of sequels, they rarely live up to the original.

Relentless and intrusive dark comedy
15 December 2022
"My Neighbor Adolf" seems quite refined in its treatment of the subject of Hitler's possible escape to Argentine , or having doubles across the world,, Feels to me this film unfolds like an earnest, low-rent "Rear Window," which is more psychological than suspense-driven in nature, which is admirable, if disappointing in the end. Instead of escalating to a dramatic and potentially violent confrontation, this film seeks to offer its protagonists some respite from the trauma each has experienced - to bury the past, and that's never an easy thing to do, if not outright impossible as this movie clearly demonstrates to us.

Social satire of the highest order.
15 December 2022
A thought-provoking, grotesque and biting satire about the eternal class struggle. Deeply outrageous and not remotely subtle in its execution. An incredible cast of characters that I'm gonna miss hanging out with. I could have watched it for hours. We humans have the same needs and desires no matter how rich or beautiful we may be. It's not about the ending its about the journey - an excruciatingly painful journey that we all embark on , wether we like it or not . Film's grotesque charge also generates a sense of despondency and sadness in its being a true reflection of how modern society can work. With regards to the runtime this is a beautiful, and very funny film.

A voyage of unseen psychological horror.
18 November 2022
Truly mindblowing and mindbending. I mean Nothing gets close to Stanley Kubrick's The Shining except 1899. The setting, the story, the unraveling of events, the twists.. Great cast and script. I think the story developed perfectly for all the characters..suspenseful on every episode. It is great through and through! It is filled with psychological terror, sci fiish horror.. it destroyed every thought of what coming next. And last bit of feeling like watching inception in different form, or Thirteen Floor but backwards somehow. I mean i have read about simulations and all but never thought it could be like this.. A very engaging series with a different story background in the same mood as the series called DARK.

Barbarian (2022)

Immaculate Horror movie.
17 November 2022
Definitely the very horror movie of 2022, Excellent piece of work. Suspenseful, original and well acted. It has this psychological terror that just wont go away, like a Hitchcock suspense thriller and a fever dream all rolled into one movie. And it buids up till the very end. Very good story by the way. It has several twists and it will keep you entertained. A true work of art! An overall great horror movie, gets to the action very quickly, and will keep you invested till the very end. Simply put, if you are into horror-thriller movies, missing "Barbarian" is a Crime, in fact when this gets back to cinema , so am I .

Legitimately Crazy
1 November 2022
Gotta admit that this was a quite huge upgrade from the previous installment which I did not like. Pearl is plenty of fun, without a doubt... However, knowing a lot about a genre is one thing. Being able to say something substantive about it is quite another. Mia Goth makes the most of a lengthy one-take monologue, during which a new horror monster is born. Love the atmosphere, music and theme behind the film. I wouldn't call it a slasher film per SE as it wasn't scary or suspenseful. Oh and its got this very interesting cinematography and direction, Personally i say this movie shows exactly how mental illness and instability can turn almost anyone into a monster.

Creepshow 2.0
28 October 2022
Look its good ,,so far 4 episodes in, Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities reminds me of Creepshow ,,it's entertaining enough and compared to many other new stuff sold in the genre a decent and solid entry. Every episode is fun and creative with its own slow-burning tension and suspense and truly has been needed in a stale genre for some time. I appreciate the quality of the work so far, after watching many poor horror shows and movies and the last couple years.....Can't wait to see more episodes. There was an old school vibe to each episode that made me want more and I couldn't wait until the next episode was available. Watch this perfect tv mini series if you liked Creepshow.

Don't Worry Darling (I) (2022)
8/10
Functioning high-concept thriller.
28 October 2022
This movie is interesting, especially in symbolism and there a lot of them . But the inability to meld those symbols into any coherency in narrative was the undoing, not to mention Florence Pugh's desperate efforts to make hay out of her character. Also had many great scenes, and boasts some expensive production credits and glossy cinematography, but at the service of a yawning plot you've seen many times before. There is however that unease emanating which was equally present in Pleasantville, The Truman Show ...and maybe even Dark City. Ultimately don't Worry Darling provides a mesmerising immersion, presenting that Belle Époque where cocktails, patient wives and seductive jazz bars are de rigueur.

Direct and honest Sci-Fi experience.
25 October 2022
This show is hot! Looks like another winner for Lisa Joy & Jonathan Nolan. Special effects are seamless. Solid premise. Plus, Mr. Abernathy from Westworld is in it. The adaptation gets key things right from William Gibson's book (Gibson originated the term 'cyberspace'). Casting is spot-on for all the roles-- and the chemistry between the characters is addictive, I love Chloë Grace... the show is action packed... its like ready player one... only more dangerous... so excited for more episodes. Wish I didn't have to wait for future episodes, I could see myself getting through the season in a couple days.

Deserves Recognition.
9 October 2022
Truly Credible horror movie. Its got this phenomenal gothic feel to it, the interiors, the atmosphere, everything. The Sensational Kate Bosworth and Justin Long were the perfect fit. It's nearly impossible not to be drawn in by Kate Bosworth's sultry movements and intense performance as Mina. Its one of those low budget B+ movies that outshines AAA blockbuster good for nothing films, it really is. Oh and did i mention this movie has impeccable dialog ? Some lines are pure and honest, and it only ads up with its simplicity, to create this very believable conversation, from start to finish. House of Darkness is ultimately a slow burner but you will be rewarded at the end and will be happy ever after.

Dark Gothic Charm
19 September 2022
Well sort of ''Ready Or Not'' and ''Get Out" mixture, and a good one too. It's not perfect but you can tell the actors tried their best in this.... The love story is extremely compelling, and the actors have wonderful chemistry... There are a few interesting twists that happen throughout the film that elevate the story. This film is a great modern take on vampires, and definitely a fun watch. Perfect movie to get ready for the spooky season coming up.. Overall what can i say.... I would recommend for a fun watch, but just be prepared that it's a little predictable and more romance than horror.

A marvelous spiritual adventure.
18 September 2022
What a grandeur ensemble between Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton.

A cautionary tale about human desire and what it means to love. The pacing was completely on point; I was engrossed right from the first few moments. The cinematography is beautiful. Miller who shows his versatility in a break from his typical movies. That being said it is noticeably a George Miller movie in style. Recommend this one very much, it does not feel too artsy but at the same time is not your "typical" fantasy movie. This movie is a marvelous artistic depiction of fundamental spiritual concepts that will leave some cold and indifferent while enchanting the initiated in the spiritual paths of the primordial tradition.

Best Sellers (2021)

A smart and stupendous comedy-drama
12 September 2022
Its an 80s style movie, For the most part it is clever and funny, but the second half does drag a little bit as things get slightly more serious. Emotional and epic homerun by Michael Caine, Aubrey Plaza is a great comedian with a cheeky humor, her use of her eyes to display emotions was amazing. All I can say is that for my part, I began watching with expectations of a good movie, and and what I got instead was far, far more. Put simply, I think 'Best sellers' deserves way more recognition than it has gotten, and it earns my hearty, enthusiastic recommendation. Nonetheless, a delightful little gem that brings a discreet smile.

''Lions are just big cats''
12 September 2022
I usually don't like to write such reviews as I'm about to write, but I must say in my humble opinion, that -to me- this movie comes almost off perfect. Of course as with anything there are errors/imperfections scattered about. But with its imperfections included its still a perfect piece for anybody who enjoys movies about Africa, adventure, struggle, and triumph. I think that the imperfections of this movie are actually able to support the story by making it in no way appear scripted. A crazy animal hunt along with the main characters and others own frustrations... everything is meant to appear improvised, and does. It is hard to explain, but as for imperfections there are a very few and not particularly noticeable, but do add to the "feel" of the story. I suggest you watch it, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Nope (2022)

Unique, interesting, inventive.
25 August 2022
To get to the point, I really enjoyed Nope. It is a fresh feel to a genre untouched for Horror, which would be Aliens. The approach of how the ship was introduced and what it could do was nice and you could actually learn when it would appear, and still somehow freak you out with something new. The horror feel to it is a stronger sense of suspense and uneasiness, rather than something of a jumpscare or a slasher.

Brilliant Vampire Hunter movie.
20 August 2022
Love vampire films and this was really enjoyable- the choreography of the fight scenes were majestic, and the horror elements of the vampires were just too real, and amazing, and you get to laugh so hard in some dialogue moments. Deserves part 2 immediately.

The Comanche Hunter vs Predator.
6 August 2022
Infinitely superior to Preadator.2018. In fact this one is SO MUCH better than several of the past Predators. . Sublime North American nature scenery. Action is very fluid, no boring moments. You can tell that the budget was nowhere near a full cinematic movie but it held its own and could easily do well at the box office. If you loved Predator 1 you must see this movie, chances are you will love it.
