Community: Studies in Modern Movement (2011)
Coach Beard!
When the hitchhiker shows up, I'm like, "Why do I know this guy?"
And now with your permission I'd like to sing a little song about race-mixing.
This one's called "Don't You Do It."
Also.... "Kiss From A Rose"
There's a youtube video where a guy is in a computer lab and plays every computer with the music video.
Look it up, you will not be disappointed.
Ok maybe a little disappointed.
Because the song starts at different times like "Row, Row, Row Your Boat."
But, obviously it doesn't have the same rhythm or cadence.
To fill more characters to reach the minimum... Open Pit Barbecue Sauce.
Atlanta: Rich Wigga Poor Wigga (2022)
I respect this episode but...
I am not of Black or African decent. For about one year I lived and went to school in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. I also was brought up by my aunt and uncle. I'm 40 years old now.
I get the joke but I never used my life experiences to get a head in life. Maybe this episode and others are catered to all the white guilt that people has displaced.
By the way this is in reference to all the non Atlanta, Atlanta episodes.
I have lived in a foster home, so I got that one.
I went to an all black school at six years old.
I was brought up by my aunt and uncle.
I'm not looking for clout but I guess I have a different perspective of what is the norm.
I love this show. It's definitely giving me a moment of pause to reflect on my life experiences. Should I been more vocal of my upbringing?
This why I post here. Probably not the best platform but not looking for attention so thought I would share to say I put this out there in some part of the universe for eyes to see.
Reminds me of how at the end of movies they say and I paraphrase "This is a story of fiction, any event is pure coincidence"
Atlanta: Trini 2 De Bone (2022)
DC Benny
You tube DC Benny Showtime At the Apollo. He did a bit that I immediately remembered about hiring black nannys for rich white kids which could be a reference to Chet Hanks. This is speculation so I understand if it's taken down.
These not Atlanta, Atlanta episodes are thought provoking.
Revenge (1990)
First half I hated and wanted to turn off but second half was awesome
First half is slow but Madeline Stowe was sexy and those sex scene keep me watching. They're love story was contrived. (Her showing up to his place with book made no sense). The whole beach house scene made no sense and came out of no where. I get it, the affair needed to happen so all the other stuff could happen but it was so forced.
Killing the dog sucked, but from that point on, the movie started getting good.
I love the ending. It wasn't a Hollywood ending. However, does Kevin Costner kill Anthony Quinn? Does Anthony Quinn kill Kevin Costner? Does Kevin Costner work for Anthony Quinn or does Kevin Costner make it back to the USA?
Sunset Blvd. (1950)
This is a Horror movie!
I've been watching The Last Drive In with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder. He did an episode where he talked about the negative stigmatism calling your film a horror film. Horror, according to critics at that time, meant cheap and low brow.
I watched this movie for the first time last night. I am now mad at myself for neglecting this movie for so many years. I woke up still thinking about this movie. This is a good movie.
This is drama.
This is suspense.
This is horror!
Prove me wrong.
Side note: Is this the mansion during the shoot out at the end of Beverly Hills Cop?
Atlanta: Teddy Perkins (2018)
Sunset Boulevard
I just saw Sunset Boulevard for the first time tonight and the first thing I said to myself is, "This is Teddy Perkins!"
If you loved this episode and want to see one of the inspirations to this episode, watch Sunset Boulevard from 1950.
I get it, it's a black and white movie with white people from the 50s, but trust me, Great Movie!
Veep: Special Relationship (2014)
Siri, How many horses died during the First World War?
Cancel search Siri.
This joke is worth watching this episode. What weird stuff are people searching in 2021?
Veep: Chung (2012)
It's 2021. Everyone should be watching this
I've got a Purple Heart on my chest but the one that beats inside me is red white and blue.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
If you don't like this movie, then you don't believe in strong women and are an anti-feminist!
I'm kidding! But remember when people said this towards those who didn't like Ghostbusters? At least this time people are acknowledging this movie is a dumpster fire. I'm assuming it cost something between $100 - $200 million. And the poor studios are going broke during COVID-19.
I just realized Kristen Wiig is in both of these movies. And I love Kristen Wiig, but what a terrible coincidence she is in these two movies that ensure it's an attack on feminism if you didn't like it.
For the record one of my favorite movies is Terminator 2. I've seen that movie at least 25 times and watch it almost anytime it's on TV. I also enjoy Kill Bill Vol. II just as much as Vol. I
But the real question is, Which was worse?
Wonder Woman 1984
Or
Batman v Superman

The Simpsons: The Mansion Family (2000)
They got my bus pass. THEY GOT MY BUS PASS!
This line is what makes this episode a classic.
Being a broke kid in high school, the city would give you a free bus pass. That thing was my livelihood in my youth.
I was pretty much able to travel anywhere.
I've lost my bus pass a few times so I know the pain of when Moe, who has nothing, loses his bus pass.
Also his delivery was perfect timing
Hilarious episode
Reno 911!: ...And the Installation Is Free (2005)

Dragged Across Concrete (2018)

I will watch this movie again! This movie is thought provoking. Digital media is everywhere.
"We stopped this guy from selling drugs to kids but we're suspended because we didn't do it politely"
I'm paraphrasing but I agree with this
