Milli Vanilli (2023)
They can actually SING!
Firstly, this documentary was long overdue.
Secondly, this was very well made & will take you through an emotional roller-coaster.
Thirdly, I just could not get over the fact it was never mentioned that they could actually sing, and yes, at the time it may not have been Whitney Houston worthy, but not once was voice training/singing lessons even offered. Even Ed Sheeran says although not everyone is musical, we can all sing when trained as the vocal chords are muscles.
And finally, 'Frank the Fraud' needs to have his credibility removed from the music industry and Ingrid needs to seek help!
Mare of Easttown (2021)
Brilliant from start to finish!
Storyline and writing supurb. How they could write a series that dabbles with Silence of the Lambs, yet comes off as one of the most amazing dramas of all time is truly brilliant. I wonder if a season 2 could possibly on the cards? Here's hoping!!
Firefly Lane (2021)
The cheese soon melts away....
After reading some bad reviews, I was hesitant to watch. But, I adore Katherine Heighl and gave it a shot. Really glad I did... after you get through a few of those 'cheese' moments in the first and second episode, you're hooked!
Monsterland (2020)
Wish all Episodes were consistently great
Really good concept... but annoying how you can go from an episode that keeps you thoroughly engaged from start to finish, then the next will bore you to tears.
The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez (2020)
Rest in Peace Gabriel
My first ever comment... my goodness, this tore my heart out. Where do you start? Thought I'd be just angry at his so called 'caregivers' (sorry, cannot call them parents) but it left me angry at the system - the police and the social workers. They should have been charged. Absolutely disgusting the neglect they displayed to this poor little soul. May he have the hand of Jesus and walk in light here now and forever.
Truth or Dare (2018)
Actually a good horror flick!
Wasn't expecting much due to the rating but this actually kept you on your toes throughout! Definitely worth watching and hoping they bring out a Truth or Dare #2
