This is a must see for everyone. Just like when Temple sees something better with pictures, this picture allows some of the autistic characteristics & experiences to be better appreciated.
I have appreciated it's impact since it helped me to understand myself better. I gradually worked out that i had social anxiety - an autistic trait - for about 15 years up until i was 30 & this film certainly helped with that process.
But what the film also illustrates is that anyone can stand to benefit from listening to anyone else, regardless of how weird or insignificant their POV may seem or how they communicate it.
It's called an autism SPECTRUM for a reason - very few if any people will experience the world like Temple does, and similarly very few can interpret an aspect of the world with as much intelligence.
We are all different - but not less - and the final scene of this film is one of the most life affirming things i've ever watched.
