River Wild (2023)
Another dreadful Netflix movie
Another, what has become typical, crappy unimaginative Netflix movie. Incredibly poorly written. Completely unbelievable scenerios. Looks like someone needed to give a buddy a writing job. So they did a dreadful, lazy remake of The Rivers Wild.
As if 3 adults in a raft, armed with paddles couldn't have easily and swiftly taken the scrawny bad guy out within the first 5 minutes.
This movie isn't suspenseful. It's simply annoying, stupid avs frustrating
Netflix is turning into just another version of Lifetime. Stupid, unoriginal poorly written films.
Really! This is the best you can come up with?
Renegades (2022)
"The Room" of Action Movies
Wow, it's like a bunch of B, C and D list actors got together and said "let's make a movie".
It's Hilarious. You can't look away. Everything about this movie is just bad.
Beginning with the laughable script. Then there's the cinematography, or lack thereof. The lighting is unbelievably crappy. At one point, you literally see the art light shining film blast through the car window
And the sound is all over the place and we won't even talk about the editing.
Then you have characters pop up out of nowhere, have a little cameo, then disappear, never to be seen again. Then it turns into "Charlie's Angel's" at the end. Oh, and the Neverending music is simply dreadful.
Then the color correction. Wow. Having done color myself, I know there's a "beauty" plugin. Someone used the "ugly" plugin, that enhances the deep creases in everybodies faces, avs makes them look dreadful.
Nanny (2022)
It's not horror. It's horrible
My God what a steaming pile of unwatchable garbage this is.
It's neither scary, interesting or intriguing. Typical case of lots of time spent on cinematography and pretty shots. Zero time working on a script.
I can't believe someone actually paid to get this made. There's no real story. Just a bunch of scenes stuck together. The characters are dull, one dimensional and uninteresting. You don't care about any of them.
The attempt to try and use sounddesign to make this slog of a film seem scary is a failed one as well. Using music for jump scares, and a barrage of min stop low end tones, is straight op pathetic
Next time the director should try writing a cohesive script.
The Monopoly on Violence (2020)
Dreadful garbage. Voted only on by his friends
Next time make sure you don't have your buddies all vote on the same 2 days with their 10 star ratings.
All you have to do is go down the list and look at the dates of his 29 star ratings.
Willy's Wonderland (2021)
Wow. What a steaming pile
What the hell is wrong with Nicholas cage.
Too bad they didn't put as much effort in the script, as they did the cinematography.
There's nothing good about this movie other than tgd cinematography. Which gets tiring after awhile as well.
Tommy Wiseaus The Room is more entertaining than this.
It's not scary or campy.
. Just bad, allround.
Sound of Metal (2019)
Clearly ripped off from "It's all Gone Pete Tong"
This film isn't as good as the original "It's all gone Pete Tong" where it clearly stole it's idea from.
As well as several scenes.
The Hateful Eight (2015)
Dreadful movie. But because it's Tarantino the critics fawn all over it
My god this is a dreadful movie. If it had been cut in half, it would have been mildly entertaining. Instead it's a good alternative for Valium
I've seen better "Alias Smith and a Jones " episodes. But because it's Tarantino, it's dawned over by the critics and his fans, who will never admit what a pile of tripe this movie is. Full of pretentious beauty shits and over written dialog that goes on forever. Why is it that some Directors get a pass on every thing they do, and their movies are judged on a different scale. If anyone else had made this boring pile of dreck, they would have been skewered.
No wonder theaters didn't want to free up any screens for this.
And the ending is lame as well.
