The documentary was difficult to watch because of the content, but many of the reviews here are scoring it low because of the content the documentary presented rather than the way they presented it. If you aren't fascinated by the events, don't watch, but scoring a documentary low because you can't believe how stupid people can be is pretty stupid, as well. The documentary was well made. It could be slow at times, but overall, it did a great job presenting the information from the cases and balancing that info with true victims' statements. It's hard to believe that people could be so gullible and how compliant people can be when an authority figure is doing the instructing.

This movie may come across as slow and depressing to some, but I think it was painstakingly honest with the conflict and sadness that comes with the reality of dementia. Many are complaining of a lack of chemistry, but I did not find that to be the case. I thought this was a beautiful, romantic movie made even better by two extraordinary actors.

People need to stop comparing it to Hill House. With that being said, there are characters that were necessary to move the plot along that served no other purpose. Those characters were poorly written with storylines that either needed to be dropped or looked into further. There are obvious characters with chemistry, and obvious ones without; you'll know which is which by the end. Overall, a beautiful gothic romance...

This movie was a heart-warming tale of how love can find its way back. The main characters were so very well portrayed. I so needed this break from the cruelties of reality. The young man who played Frank was exceptional. It was a very clean and wholesome film, and anyone who finds issue with the content has to be a close-minded individual.
