To Die For (2022 Video)

John... John... John
4 January 2023
I love John Schneider, he is one of my favorite country singers and a pretty great actor.... But this is AWFUL.. Shameful.... Just sad. He's still a great actor, but this movie is MST3000 material. He can keep the $30 to buy a better green screen. I'd give him the money if I had it, to film it like an actual film. There is so much wrong that it's hard to know where to start... the female cop looks like a hologram.... Every scene is fake shot with a blue screen/green screen.... The sound is terrible... The concept is relevant to today's headlines, but could have been better if the characters weren't all awful people. ... It's just sooooo bad, God love him... It's just bad.

George & Tammy (2022–2023)

Eh

Great acting... the real story is too good to mess up too badly, I do wish that they might have given a little more back story on both sides. (For those who don't know George or Tammy's music) what I'm saying is that the acting was incredible it's a testament to these actors... but.... It takes a lot of country lonesome to capture George and Tammy....the singing is so bad that we are actually fast forwarding through it. It's AWFUL. This review has no spoilers.... No need for it, the singing does that. Maybe next time just dub in the real music or get Faith Hill to play Tammy. She would have been incredible in this role. I suggest that whoever made this movie needs to go watch some of the great classic legendary music that these legends made. The crowd at the Ryman auditorium would never had crowded the stage like in the first episode. Roy Acuff NEVER wore a cowboy hat... These are just little things that do matter.

Elvis (2022)
3/10
Just a Pile of....
11 September 2022
There are so many lies in this script it should have been called "Elvis" based on a true story. The lies start at the beginning of the movie and don't stop until the very end. The only saving grace is the fact that Justin can sing, because this boy is handsome, but he does NOT look like Elvis. The make-up is AWFUL it makes him look the Joker.. I found that I closed my eyes more than once. Tom Hanks as Tom Parker was like watching Mike Meyers in Austin Power playing Fat Bast**d.

If you, as a young person enjoyed the music of Elvis and his voice, then find out the truth, the real Elvis Presley. There is a really good multi part documentary on HBO Max right now, that has real footage and contains what I believe is truer version of Elvis's life story. That just my 2 cents worth...

I'm sorry is the movie over....
3 October 2019
I fell asleep 3 times during this bore fest. There's nothing you can do to spoil it because it's rancid as it is. And,I can't add any more than what all the other reviewers have said, except Bad science, bad writing, bad acting, bad concept, horrible character development (totally wasted Tommy Lee Jones).... But hey, Brad Pitt was great and it made me laugh... I'm not sure it was supposed to, though. That's my 2 cents worth.

Loved it
31 December 2018
I didn't want to see it, didn't care about it at all. Maybe we are all a little jaded in the world today (and this Mary is a little more Coy and a bit more edgy)...... Then, my niece came to visit......Oh My, I loved it so so so much. From the first note of the first song, to the quirky whimsical Mary Poppinish-ending. The dancing, the singing, the story line (a bit like Nanny McFee), the seamless changing of scenes from animation to live action, but mostly the acting everything was just wonderful. The songs fit the movie, not the other way around.... Which is why I want to see the movie again. Sure the Original is a master piece and I'm reading a few reviews where people hated it for whatever reasons, but all in know is in a very crowded theatre of primarily older folks and a few kids, every one applauded at the end. Just saying and giving my 2 cents worth.
