Better Call Saul: Point and Shoot (2022)
10 for the cinematography and Lalo
What a villain. The shots and care for esthetic keeps baffling me. Who would have thought I would be questioning if the Breaking Bad sequel might be better than the original series. Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are genius, all the actors are perfect. Amazing, love Lalo and Nacho to bits.
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Yin and Yang
Whilst watching this movie I felt something I haven't felt in a long time going to the cinema. I really go regularly, but this is a movie I would love to see again! Also I need to see all the pictures from the scene in which you see a close up of her in all the different realities!
What I noticed during the end of the movie is that the black bagel with the white opening in the middle is the exact reverse of the googly eye. Googly eyes representing the good and the bagel representing the bad (hilarious since I really don't get the point of bagels). All the googly eyes in the whole movie might be representations of acting out of kindness (will have to watch again).
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
I'll give it 4 stars for the visuals of the dragons
Horrible writing, too many Deus Ex Machina situations and very unbelievable that even characters like Samwell Tarly survive this battle. They are outnumbered and most of the cast should've died after the NK resurrected all the fallen soldiers and the bodies in the crypt. If "how Arya got to the NK" was explained better and if more cast members would've died in battle (Hound, Sam, Sansa, Tyrion, Varys, Jon) it would've been better for me. Right now, it feels like another unbelievable Hollywood series instead of the great unpredictable show it once was.
Black Mirror: Crocodile (2017)
Maybe RETHINK what happened at the ending....
I understand the fuzz about the ending really well. But I think a lot of people misinterpreted the ending. Remember the guy she killed in the hotel room? He came to her because he couldn't live with the paranoia that was caused by killing the cyclist with their car. He wanted to tell authorities and Mia refused and after that, killed him, sending her further down a murderous path.
What if Mia has developed an equally disturbing paranoia that she might get caught? She is crying during the kids play because she is thinking of the blind baby she just killed. What if the police isn't really there, but it is just her paranoia kicking in? Obviously a hamster can't recollect a clear image of her. But what if she thinks that's what happened? What if now SHE is the one that is paranoid and scared to get caught? What if killing a baby is just one step too far to stay sane for her?
For me that is what happened at the ending and it makes it a way better ending imo.
The Water Diviner (2014)
Very good movie despite the historical errors
I just finished watching this first Russell Crowe directed film and i loved the style of the movie! Returning themes, the cinematography and a good score all supported this overall great movie. I read a lot of the reviews on this page and was shocked by the reactions of historical incorrectness. Yes, I agree, this movie isn't historically correct, but why make such a point of it? Movies like Inglorious Basterds and Braveheart are just as incorrect, but unlike this one, received a lot better by the critics. At the start of the movie it is said that it is based on real life events. It doesn't state that it is a documentary or a historical movie. It is the story of a man desperate to find his missing sons and I think Russell's done an outstanding job. Can't wait to see more of his work!
Homeland: Game On (2013)
You are not expecting this!
Just finished watching the latest episode of Homeland and the ending blew me away. I'm not spoiling anything, but there is a major plot twist that is worth watching! Seeing the first three episodes of season 3 made me think that the smartness of the CIA, Carrie and Brody had come to an end. I really thought that Homeland was going downhill but in this episode it became clear that it really isn't! I'm curious to see the next episode! I am really loving the show, but I hope that it will focus a bit more on Brody in the upcoming episodes. Overall, this was a very good episode, but not a 10 for me, because I know there were better episodes and there definitely will be better ones. Great episode and tremendous acting by Claire Danes once again!
Breaking Bad: Felina (2013)
Chemistry is the study of transformation
This review doesn't contain any spoilers, because I wouldn't forgive myself if I ruined this show for anyone!
First of all I want to thank the cast, crew and Vince Gilligan for the best 47 hours of television of my whole life. I am flabbergasted about the fact that it really pulled me in from the beginning to the end and it will never let me go entirely. The characters are so well played and the script is so ingenious. I have no words for how great this show is. This was a perfect ending for a perfect show. This show really is about transformation, misery and happiness. It really, really got me, I am just too full of it now, but I felt like writing a review. So if you haven't watched this show and your looking for something good: this is more than a recommendation! For everyone who has watched breaking bad, I wish you all the best of luck on getting your life on track now that this show is over. Frankly, it will be very hard for me.
Thank you breaking bad!

Breaking Bad: Ozymandias (2013)
Nothing beside remains
I have never experienced any movie or episode of any series that was as intense as this Breaking Bad episode was...
Walt has made mistakes and he is very aware of that. But this guy is so incredibly smart, just like Hank told him: "You're the smartest guy I ever met, but you're too stupid to see he made up his mind 10 minutes ago." After which he gets killed
This is for me, the very best way to describe Walt. He is a genius, but he fails to see the consequences of his actions. Every move he made has gotten him further away from his initiative: To give his family a better life. Now all his bridges are burned down and nothing is left for him:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away"
This man is doomed to live a lonesome and miserable life. The lone and level sands have been created by his own mistakes. Breaking Bad doesn't give us a hero nor a villain in my opinion. It gives us Walter White. A man who breaks down trying to do the best for his family. Still saving Skyler by calling her, knowing the police is there, so she isn't going to turn up for his mistakes.
This is by far the best series I have EVER seen
