Reviews
Killinaskully (2003)
Very, very funny; not a disappointment
Hilarious comedy that premiered yesterday on RTE here in Ireland. A must-see for Father Ted fans, but it's a far cry for the Frs of Craggy Island. Pat Shortt, the very famous Irish comedian, reveals his brilliance and wit in both the writing of the show and his acting. A strong cast backs him up but wisely lets Shortt lap up most of the limelight. Unlike anything that's ever been shown on RTE before. I laughed out loud quite a bit. It's also a hit with my friends, we spent Science class talking about it. I'd mark it 9/10. I'll be tuning in in future. Unless like a comet comes and sweeps me away. Or my TV breaks. Or there's a flood. Or RTE goes out of business. Or I die. That'd be quite a downer.
