Sona (2018)
Intense & Thrilling Sci Fi Drama
I took breaks after some episodes.
It was a bit triggering for my emotional disorder.
But the story was so good, I had to keep going back to finish the series.
I hope Ashley and Brendan make another Season or more.
Wish Netflix or Amazon would work with them.
So many questions yet left unanswered, so much more story they could write and make.
Holidate (2020)
It was a pretty good romcom
A bit too raunchy for me, but.
The leading couple so cute together though.
The poking fun at certain stereotypes was pretty funny.
Love, Guaranteed (2020)
Loved the heart of this movie
I really liked the storyline, the character of the two leads.
Gave it a chance because of the lead actress, was pleasantly surprised by the lead guy, he was good. Was worried his role might be comedic because of his last name.
Turned out to be a pretty cool character. Reminds of the good old fashioned romantic comedies, which I love.
Non-Transferable (2017)
Wonderful Rom Com
I love the two lead actors.
And you get to see Turkey.
It was a fun rom com story ride.
Plus, it is amazing what they achieved with their indie budget.
Too bad about some of the issues they faced afterwards, boo the Turkey networks that pirated the film, didn't pay to be able to screen it in their channel. Taking advantage of up and coming director/actor and the rest of the cast and crew that worked to make this film.
All of My Heart (2015)
It Got My Heart
Really enjoyed the wholesome and family friendly romance. I like the leading couple together. Hallmark should put them in more of their movies as a couple.
Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliot stood out in the sea of Hallmark movies I've been watching.
I just loved how their chemistry flowed well. And I really liked the whole cast. They really made me feel like it's a small town with good people.
And the comedy was just what I like. I think it's called situational.
I also liked Daniel Cudmore and Heather Doerksen in their roles. Their supporting roles really helped the story.
Edward Asner was a charming grumpy old man.
Abel's Field (2012)
Gets To The Heart Of What It's Like To Be Broken
It really shows how true to life difficulties Seth and his sisters experience. Abel's reasons for choosing the way he lives, really got to me in that one area of self imposed punishment.
It really portrays what it's like to be broken or live life so close to rock bottom. And the process of redemption. Of confession, repentance, forgiveness, cleansing and blessing.
I loved the characters of Abel, Seth, Katie and the twins. Well worth viewing.
I just wish they showed more of what happens to Abel, after the end scene. I hope there's a sequel. Or maybe a stand alone movie about Abel.
Rolie Polie Olie (1998)
Fun For Kids
Rolie Polie Olie is such a sweet show.
I love this show, and the kid I babysit loves it, too.
It may be a bit too simple for adults, but that's the point. It's for kids, not adults.
The 3D Animation is really well done and the content is wholesome. What more can you ask from a kid's show?
I recommend it to all parents who want a good show for their kids to watch. Plus, it doesn't sell you a toy, as far as I know so far. There is many shows attached to selling something.
Have fun watching with yours or any kid/s!
