Wild Horses (2015)

It's a good drama. Why anyone would rate 1 or 10 is weird. It's a good drama.

I am not saying this movie was the best movie I've seen, but I AM saying it sure wasn't the worst. The 1,2,3-star ratings are from weirdos, it's not the worst movie ever made. I am not at all a drama lover, I don't watch many of them at all. I also don't like watching movies with more than 3 great actors in it, because it's always them trying to outact each other, but this one wasn't so bad, they didn't share the screentime alot, so it worked out. I have been on a western lately, so I watched this because of Josh Hartnet and James Franco. Yes, Mrs. Duval was not the best actress she definitely needs work on her acting skills, but the rest of the strong actors help even it out. Someone said the Spanish (Jimmy) mother was horrible, I disagree. I don't think she did a bad job at all. So, if you like Dramas, which that is exactly what this is, then this movie is not a bad movie at all. To rate it under a 4, is just weird and ignorant, troll like.1 is the worst movie ever made in your opinion, 10 is the greatest, so I mean come on, let's be real here, this movie isn't ether one. That is why IMBD is not trusted by many people, because of the trolls or actors giving it unrealistic ratings.

I feel that the whole drama of Jimmy's death was a little "extra" because in reality, who would do that if they didn't actually do it, or contemplate suicide after for that matter, but hey it's a movie right?

I dont get how trolls are not seen by the IMD reviewers on here. I looked on 2 account just to see how they reviewed other movies. Users like Svader, they only write bad reviews, literally every movie is a complaint or a back handed compliment review. There is another user before hand, which gave a 1 review, and imagine that literally every movie they rated, was a 1. For instance Dune. Lol. Like? How do these people get on here or through. It makes it hard to believe the ratings or take them seriously. Drama is not my cup of tea, but this movie isn't horrible. I know its not the worst movie ever and neither was Dune. Trolls these days, I mean come on. If the movie was bad, I could get it, but that's just crazy. To waste your time to write bad reviews for what? We look to the reviews to get information about the movie, what does it do for you to troll that?

Clearly Men wrote this, with NO consultation of women and asking what they would do had this happened. Women wouldn't riot the first week of this event, they would FIGURE it out. Rich women wouldn't maybe , but regular women definitely would have. It had the potential to be a very good show, but bc men wrote it, and had women do what they thought they'd do, or react just like a man would, that man it not believable.

Why do we watch movies? To get away from reality. So, this is not that bad, for entertainment. I liked it, wanted to finish it, so...I didn't get mad at the lead actress, she wasn't an idiot lol. My main man was in there, so thats always a nice thing to keep my eyes on for 90 minutes.

Cold Skin (2017)

This movie was well shot, well acted and I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more credit. It's a very unique concept, and it kept my attention. It's not a horror though, not really. Maybe a thriller/sci fiction, but horror no... It definitely has an underlying message, and that is colonisim, racism, genocide and maybe problems with humans or humanity period. If your looking for a day for, this isn't it, if your a basic person who wants to watch TV to water your mind, this isn't it, but if you like movies because of the film and can understand a message; this is for you. I rated 9 because it isn't a horror film but also bc it's needs more higher score, it's a good film. Otherwise this is a great film.

This is the most unrealistic movie I've seen in a while, and I are through Sharknado! I Still have no idea what the movie was even about! The only thing in it is the actors and the beautiful scenery, actually that was the best thing present in the movie, was the scenery. Nothing made any sense. Just running, shooting and cussing. For what? I don't like how people think women can't overpower men, that's ridiculous patriarchal nonsense. With that said, I'm not sure how well a 60 year old, 75 pound woman wearing a wig would, but ok.... It's just a movie about nonsense. An expensive, confusing, spit of nonsense, with beautiful scenery. That's the best description. The only realistic part, is when he asks where will he go, and she says idk. That's about as real as the movie gets.

Death of Me (2020)

I would normally rate this about a 5 or 6, but I felt obligated to rate higher because of such the low ratings. It wasn't a horrible movie. Yes, it's somewhat similar to Midsomar/Wicker Man, but it really was not bad. I was interested in it all the way, I didn't want turn it off, yeah some parts I was like "this ___ is dumb, why?" But aren't all movies like that, lol? It was a good movie for a Sunday night, I didn't think it was that bad, it's more like a thriller horror, but not like a horror movie in my eyes. Other than that, idk why all the negativity towards it.

The Maid's Room (2013)

Can I say first, wow the woman who plays the maid is very beautiful. I read somewhere they were criticized for "demonizing the rich"? No, this shows quite frankly, exactly what rich white people are like, so not sure where that came from. However, they make the maid look like a complete moron, so that kind of made me angry. There is so much with that, I can't begin, but basically, they make her out to look like a complete dumb****. So, like what, immigrants are too stupid to out think the white rich people? There is countless of things that she did in this movie, that would never have been done by a real woman, any woman, other than a ditsy rich white girl, would do. So, I guess that's where they got their inspiration for her character from. With that said, like I said, this movie had potential, but it stops about 10 to 15 minutes in. So, I guess if there is nothing else you can watch, then do so, but this is not a movie you'd seek out to watch, no. Nice try though.

Chilling Visions: 5 Senses of Fear (2013)

I thought I'd leave a review about the movie because I didn't see many. I don't think it was great movie, but it was an okay movie to watch when you don't have much else to do. It was shot well, and the acting wasn't bad. Fun fact; the last one hearing, is somewhat semi-based on a real story. The Russian song "Gloomy Sunday," was linked to hundreds of suicides.

Anyways, the movie was good, and it's something to watch during this during quarantine.

I can only conclude to the bad ratings because it has the lead character being a strong, educated, inspirational & beautiful black woman, not a white woman. She, as well as everyone else, does a great job acting and the visuals are also done extremely well. The twist was not hard to figure out, and I'm not quite sure why is labeled a horror movie, rather a psychological thriller. Other than that, the movie was great, and was well worth watching. I normally would rate it an 8, because it's not a horror & have a certain rating scale of movies. However, I rated this a 10 because of the low ratings, because like I said, if a white woman was in the leading role, it wasn't categorized as a horror, I am positive that there would be much higher ratings and better reviews. I even read in one review, the white woman, Jenna Malone, should receive an oscar? I'm sorry, what? Yeah, she's a good actress, I don't take that away from her, but um.......no. Maybe they meant the lead actress, because Jenalle Monae' and Jenna Malone sound alike, and they got it backwards, if so, my mistake, but if not well, like I said..... The movie was very good but not a horror movie, it's definitely a psychological thriller. I recommend watching it, no matter which it is. Yes, there is a message being sent within this movie, but that's the case in many movies. It's not as one reviewer said, "Black is power, White is bad." __eye roll___ If you're racist in any manner, you shouldn't watch it, because your not gonna like anything that shows any black person in it unless they are slaves or killed, smh.....

Otherwise, if you are not racist and like thrillers, you will like this movie. You'd probably like it either way, whether you like thrillers or not, so maybe try it out......

Run (I) (2020)

I love Sara Paulson and she always delivers. Of course, it seems alot like Gyspy & DeeDee story, but it's not exactly the same. It's what also makes the movie that much more thrilling, to know it actually happened and happens more then we think.Either way, it's a very good and a definite must watch, especially during quarantine if you like thrillers! I am sure you will enjoy this movie, it doesn't get boring or leave you feeling as if the ending was missing something.

Bone Tomahawk (2015)

A kind of funny, semi gory, horror/ thriller

I liked the movie and it was pretty original for the horror genre. I say semi gory, because there was only a few gory parts, one I kinda cringed lol. The movie had some dry humor to it and of course the actors were all good in it. A lot of famous actors in one movie sometimes can make the movie seem like an acting competition, but this one was done ok most bigger actors had smaller parts, so it worked out. I recommend watching the movie, it kept me engaged and interested, that's how I usually rate a movie..

Um... I watch a lot of movies, and I give most a chance, but I couldn't sit through this one lol. The acting was horrible and the script was just as bad. Only reason I gave it a 2, was because I shut it off.....

Was it a blockbuster, no., but it wasn't bad at all. It depends on what kind of horror you enjoy, if it's jump scare and implausible events, and overdone predictable movies, this is not for you. If you, like me, are scared by things that could actually happen, and is pretty origional, then you should like it. I would ignore the bad reviews, this movie was not that bad.

As with all Stephen King's movies it has a deeper meaning. If you're not smart enough to get it, the movie is dumb. It's shot well,decent acting but like the movie Mother!, it has a much deeper meaning. So, I rated it bc it was good if you get it, but most people won't, so it was not great.

I kinda want to rate it a 10 to lift the score bc I don't understand why it's so low. It wasn't a movie that will win an Oscar, but it was pretty good. I wanted to see what happened next and it kept my interest the whole movie, so that right there is a 4star in itself, then add on that the acting wasn't bad that's another 3 stars, and the plot was interesting, not overdone in hundreds of other movies, while it has and can happen I real life, another 2 stars.... If you like crazy overdone, predictable horrors, please don't watch it but if you like something new and fresh, ignore the low ratings idk what their issues are. It was a good movie, maybe bc there wasn't the everyday of the mill actors in it, Idk, but it was a good movie, try it.

Yes the ending was cut short but it doesn't not leave it completely unopened. The story does leave out explanation of things but the movie was still pretty good and worth watching.

It had a different twist in the genre, the acting was pretty good, and it kept me interested and guessing for a min. The twist was okay idk why ppl are saying that it wAs unnecessary? Ignore the negative reviews because it was a pretty good movie. Gore/horror is not my favorite thing to watch and I liked it.

The Prodigy (2019)

I liked this movie it was very well shot & kept me interested until the end. It didn't scare me, but most movies don't, though I thoroughly enjoyed the theme of what miles "affliction" was! I thought it was a great idea to use for a horror movie. If like me, you believe that kind of thing it makes the movie much more interesting and scary.

I highly recommend this movie. Yes, at times it can go a little slow however it was very interesting and kept me on my seat wondering what would happen next. The acting was good as was the filming. I highly recommend you see this, especially if you're a fan of Drama (I am not, which is why I say it is so good) I don't watch Dramas much but I'm glad I watched this, it was very interesting. Yes sad and disheartening, but it was very good to watch.

Tyler Perry's a Madea Family Funeral (2019)

Better than a few other Madea Movies

It wasn't a horrible movie and it wasn't extremely great either. It was funny most the time and not the goofy funny either. I generally liked it and it was a good movie in the "Madea" films. I can't say it was worth 30$ at the movies to see, but in house on redbox or on demand, it's a fun family movie. My Kids definitely liked it and my son stayed watching it till after the credits and he has severe ADHD so that says a little I suppose. If you're a fan of Tyler Perry and Madea, you will definitely like it.

Although it wasn't as good as Get Out, it was still good nonetheless. I enjoyed watching it and was interested until the very end, that is usually how I judge movies because it's hard to keep me focused on things.... The acting was good, even from the children, It is a movie I'd recommend but not one I'd throw "omg" praises about. It wasn't dumb, I dont know why people have said that, but no, it wasn't as good as Get Out, however it wasn't bad or not worth seeing either. Hope that helps!

The Collection (II) (2012)

This movie was just as good as the first one, "The Collector." If you haven't seen the Collector, watch it first if you can to better enjoy this one, however you don't have to watch the first one to enjoy this one, that's how good both are. Lol. This and the first film employ good acting and plot originality! Enjoy!!

I truly enjoyed this movie. It was really good all the way around from my point of view. I definitely felt it was better than Saw, and if it had half the marketing that Saw did, I feel it would've made a Huge "cult" following. If you liked Saw you probably will like this, but even if you didn't like Saw you still might like this, lol. It has a different plot line, decent acting and not too far fetched. If you watch this and happen to feel the way I do, you will like sequel "The Collection" too. Enjoy!!
