Bros (I) (2022)

Its a soul soothing story

Movie has delight recipe with humor. Dialogues are fun. Screenplay is immaculate, you never feel a jerk during the whole movie. The twists are realistic no matter how cliche people claim to be, but you have to include the still-holding-reality, no matter how mundane the scene be.

It's not targeted to be soul provoking or society shaking movie. I don't always want to see one of those. Sometimes, I just want to watch a movie where protagonist cries watching a parody of Queer eyes giving people haircut and a pair of pants as a makeover.

Go have a good time, with your partner or alone. Go if you want to educate about the LGBTQ or not. Go if you just want a light comedy,in either case, it's a good treat.

The Theory of Everything (2014)

There are movies that are entertained and there are some which are appreciated.

It has a bit of both.

Try making an endeavor of mimicing stephen hawking physical appearance for few seconds and applaud the EDDIE RENMAYNE.

FILICITY JONES excellently expresses complex emotions.

God! This scenes are so illogical. This doesnt hold interesting at 2022 at all. There has been so many better adaptation of this one. You can appreciate the hard work and pass on without watching. You won't be missing much.

Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 (2021)

Well, I must confess I have biased opinion about south indian movies which are unannounced superhero movie, every other one. Yet, I enjoy few ones which has a balance of logic and tolerable cinematic liberty.

This one is somehow enjoyble.

Everything was perfect untill, that inspector came along and unnecessary intro was given to him and there was scene without any logic. I get it , its a premise for next part's villain who has nothing to lose, yet ( whose job it must be a editor or director) you could have adjusted it to the middle or somewhere. You ruined the climax for me. I was content when the pushpa rose to power. That could have been a good climax. I blame the editing... for my ruined exprience in climax.

Little Women (2019)

....Throughly enjoyed it, despite my testosterone.

There is so much an actor can hold in a single scene , inside a slow moving drama. This movie masters the art.

Perfection in every bit of it, be it being witty or emotional or bold.

Ok! One extra star might be for HERMIONE GRANGER but rest of it, This one deserves the big time.

Won't hesitate to call it, PAR EXCELLENCE!

The Tomorrow War (2021)

Consolation version of EDGE OF TOMORROW with 2 climaxes ( I just cracked a joke there).

Unlike it's rival which was high on everything, this one is light on mind, jerky at times but almost entertaning ride.

Slow as turtle, but finishes the race triumphantly.

Supernatural and set design aside, The main gluing factor is character's performance, being slow pace gets us connected with them.

Not a fast paced thriller at all. Loud background music and characters running don't mean its gaining pace.

Or You could have gone for simple biopic style.

Sluggish first half was almost unbearble, if one can pass that second half takes the show to whole next level.

Had it been 30 min shorter in first half, would had been excellent one.

Such a bold attempt for a bollywood movie. It can be called it's ahead of its time. Audience might not digest the concept yet.

May be educational on parts.

I have seen a lot of bakwaas movie lately, this is definitely not one of them.

Definitely for a Matrix fan, a huge let down. Come on! Good machines working on humans side!

Duh!!, who is going to buy that after all that trilogy. May be an OKISH!!! Treat for someone who is not a matrix fan franchise, yet have heard about it. But I guess they are rare.

Such a waste of an opportunity!!!

Malignant (I) (2021)

This is how you ruin every hardwork of a well made movie for the sake of forced- probable -sequel

Superbly satisfying horror flick till the last 5 min of climax. If you can excuse that, which is probably almost hard cause CLIMAX matters thee MOST,

otherwise a nice one.

Akron (2015)

May be too dramatic comment than the movie itself.

After a buzzing afterlag of TENET ( or of such kinda movie ) can be settled down with this movie. And I am just exemplifing.

We don't connect with character to love or pity them. Dialogues are not funny enough.

THE WITCHER ( if NOT The Game of Thrones ) version of LORD OF THE RINGS with GONE GIRL.

If you are already into fantasy genre, You might enjoy it, like I did ( Moderately though ). If you are setting off new to this genre, definitely a wrong one to kick off with.

I am more than suprised how come this movie has everything for everyone.

Superficial fun and humor for light movie watcher ( who will be fine with IMDB 7.3) at same time has profound revolutionary messege ( IMDB definitely gonna soar up in times to come).

If you watch this in group, you will be shocked for the diverse perception of audience.

....to much an effort to watch. Gets complicated with every episode. Intellegent show doesn't test viewers capacity rather it presents the complexity in simpler manner.

I watched three episodes of The Queen's Gambit and 20 minutes of this. Again, I went back to The Queen's gambit. God! It took me 4 sittings to finish this. FYI just finished it, for the sake of OSCAR NOMINEE.

Warrior Nun (2020–2022)

..underrated.

May be we clicked but I enjoyed the show very much, despite the rating. Thank god, it wasn't the quantum physics how she is phasing through.

It should at least have 7.5 rating. Having all said and done, it's how entertaining the show is that matter and it does for the people who like this genre.

I seriously didn't expect it to get into horror genre, With a good climax. Enjoyed till the end. It seems they just don't select for oscar nominee anyway. 😉
