Not Romancing the Stone.. or anything else

I love Sandra Bullock as a comedic actress but this movie fell flat for me. Sandra did what she could with the character but Channing Tatum's character is inconsistent. The chemistry just wasn't quite right either. I realize this was attempting to be a bit more comedy than its concept inspiration Romancing the Stone, but the humor was a little tired. RTS storyline was far better and the chemistry of Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner far better. Maybe a younger audience who does not know or hasn't seen the predecessor movies will receive it better. However Gen X...save your money.

Coming 2 America (2021)

They tried.

I appreciate the plethora of cast that returned for the sequel, but the humor fell flat for me. It was predictable and failed trying to recreate the humor of the first movie. The CGI left a lot to be desired as well.

I hated giving this low of a rating, but it is what it is. Perhaps others will like it more.

Ocean's Eight (2018)

It was just "OK"

There were a few laughs and maybe one twist, but otherwise there just wasn't anything special about this script. The main thing that was special was having that many fabulous actresses in one film.

A Quiet Place (2018)

Highly overrated and disappointing

Yes, the acting is good. . Other than that, it is Highly overrated. Just average and not very original in its suspense tactics IMO. Lacked any real plot development or original concept. Watch M Night Shyamalan's Village instead for an oddly lower rated but better movie all around. To give you an idea how disappointed I was... I only went to the movie because of the high IMDB rating,and because of this, I am making my first ever IMDB review to warn others not to waste your money (unless you under 20 and have never seen anything made before 2010 to know what a better movie is like)
