The Visit (2015)
Horrendous. The "rap" parts are killing me
DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. It is really, really bad, the acting is terrible and the pacing is slow af. Save yourself 2 hours of your life
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020)
Mediocre
It's perfect if you have nothing else to watch. In Greece we have a saying amerikaniá which basically means classic american movie and it perfectly describes this movie. The story doesn't make sense most of the time and is always super predictable, many of the jokes don't land, the actors are super awkward trying to speak English in an Icelandic accent and even the competition of the Eurovision is portrayed wrong in the movie ( for example the points are given in thr final not in the semis ) which makes the movie hard to watch even for the fans of the competition. Some of the past winners also make an appearance in the movie but it just so happens to be at the most awkward scene ever. Anyway, it's on netflix so it might make sense to watch it with the family if you have absolutely nothing else to watch. I've seen worse movies than this but you'll definitely forget all about it about 10 minutes after its over
Countdown (2019)
Overall horrible
The only horrific thing in this movie is the quality. The jumpscares are predictable and not scary at all, character development is boring at best and the consistency of the story seems non existent. I don't usually give just 1 stars to movies because the work of the actors or the directors etc deserve some praise even if the end product is crap. But in this everyone seems to have done a terrible job, from the writer to the actors, even the cameramen. I wasted almost 2 hours of my life watching this movie and I got t to the trouble of writing this review so you don't have to waste that time too.
Narcos: Going Back to Cali (2017)
Great ending for an unexpectedly good season
The 10th episode makes for the perfect season finale of the 3rd season. While it succeeds on bringing the Cali Carter story to an end on a satisfying way for the viewer, it also sets up the scene for the setting of season 4. Generally, the show proved it can keep being exciting without having Escobar( or Agent Murphy ) on the show. The ending paved the way for El Chapo to be the main antagonist of the next season and I just can't way to see how the production team will project his character and story on the screen.
