Creepy yes. Horror no.
Scariest scene: is when the neighbour "Liam" (typical arrogant jock type boy next door character who subsequently attempts to hit it off with Jessica's typical angst moody teenage step-daughter) uses the bathroom, doesn't wash his hands and uses the main characters hand towels.... The thought of someone else using those towels creeped me out the most.
Acting was off, with zero chemistry between cast.
Pyper Braun, was the best at portraying her character as the youngest step-daughter, who can interact/ see and hear "spirits" (another typical trope). She brings more than just the bear to life, and is the only reason I finished this movie.
Tom Payne did not suit as the father figure... He was amazing in the Walking Dead. Half way through he says see ya later, goes on a music tour and leaves new Step Mum Jessica to look after her step-daughters on her own to "bond" with his children, in a new house (unpacked) while she is also working on her own book project... How thoughtful and obscure.
Bad directing throughout, the cast tried there best but it falls flat, it is too predictable and lacks imagination.
