Ki Hwanghoo (2013)
Ji Chang Wook's acting skills are amazing here!!
Ji Chang Wook is definitely the star. He goes from a total loser in the beginning and then to a strong lead and then to crazy fellow later. Amazing! You would truly feel his pain and love.
All the actors/characters here do so well! From the female lead, to the generals, villains to the eunuchs and lead maids in waiting, all so good!
Plus the plot is so captivating. Right to the very end.
👏👏👏👏👏👏

Cringe-y, no chemistry, stiff-y...
Decided to watch it because I was attracted to the synopsis.
Right off the bat, there was no chemistry between the two characters.
Dialogue was horribly delivered. Both the main characters had no chemistry at all. Plot was stiffly done.
The entire show was very stiff. And yes, I watched the entire thing just to make sure I was certain about my negative review.
The 3 stars given was for the plot itself. It was such an interesting story. Sad that everything else totally killed it.

So so so so so GOOD! *Not enough so's here**
When I finished the show the first time, I immediately started on the first episode again; on the same day! Besides the main aspects of the show, all the other aspects, minor or otherwise were so well done!
The dialogue, the scenery's, the supporting plots etc etc. You would fall in love with the supporting characters for sure. You would remember the dialogues almost instantly. You would hit rewind just to see the set and scenery again.
Love that all the other major plots that are interlinked into the main love story are so well thought of and executed!
Planning to watch for the third time again!...... And maybe the fourth!
Dirilis: Ertugrul (2014)
One of the best Turkish shows ever! Deserve more than 8.0 on IMDB.
Hooked completely right from Ep 1, S1. Hundred episodes later and I still am hooked every ep. Every character is so good. Storyline, plot, scenes all so so well done! The plot twists and thickenings still got me gasping hundred episodes in. And I am not Turkish even! Must watch!!!
