Power of Music (2012)
An amazing, inspirational story
I found this on Facebook, as a fan of Josh Groban, but clicked on it not knowing quite what to expect. It's a few years since it was filmed (now 2015, filmed in 2012) so I can't help but wonder why it has only just found its way into my field of vision, as I thought I'd seen almost everything Josh-related! It's now 4am and I'm crying - not a common occurrence - but I couldn't stop watching! The emotion of Jen's back-story and the once-in-a-lifetime chance she was offered to work with Josh is something I won't forget in a hurry. He is such a gentleman and so considerate, no wonder she was almost overwhelmed. Essential viewing for his fans!! I recommend it to anyone who likes a human-interest story of an unsung heroine experiencing a moment of glory. Enjoy....
The Crazy Ones (2013)
Enjoying this new series
I don't actually know any of the actors in this except Robin Williams... and I have to be honest and say I was really only interested in it because I read that Josh Groban will be appearing in an episode! I thought it would help to watch the first few episodes to 'set the scene' and have been surprised how much I like it! American comedies don't normally 'do it' for me, and I saw some other much less favourable reviews beforehand but thought I'd still give it a try - I'm glad to say it had me laughing out loud almost straight away! It's manic and risqué, but I think it has promise, and I'm looking forward to watching the remainder of the series (especially Josh!).
