This show is AWSOME! It reminds me of The Office and Parks and Rec documentary style show. Super funny and every character that is introduced is hilarious (even the kiddos). Not understanding all of the low ratings though...weird...

I am starting to think that all the 1 stars didn't even watch this beautiful film, they just saw the title and got all triggered. How is celebrating Black and African culture saying we think we are superior, or have anything to do with BLM??? I think I see an agenda there... this was a work of pure art and I LOVED it! I loved this take on a classic story, well done Beyoncé, well done! Haters be gone! ☮

As a mixed kid born in 1979, I relate so hard it hurts! I can relate to every episode so far. Not being black or white enough, cultures, hair, relating to only other misfits, and so on. I am glad that there is something on TV that represents the struggle of a mixed kid in the 80's and hopefully, the 90s as a mixed teen. As they say, representation matters. Also, as a 90s teen, I loved me some Mark Paul Gossler!
PS to the person that said Bow's mother was white on Blackish, ummm... wrong, her mother was light skinned but black and her father was played by Beau Bridges (and he Is definitely white lol!)

I have been obsessed with this case since I was a teenager and this movie is AMAZING. The acting is superb! I am glad I got to experience this like it is actually happening. For those who are saying it is Anti-Trump... really?!? This movie is just telling what actually happened, and if you think someone as big as Trump was at the time has no influence in NYC, you are not sorely mistaken.
