Why Are We Still Making Stuff Like This
12 June 2023
The struggles of fame. This is literally all this is about...so far. I've seen and heard this sorry 100 times and we all know there are amazing scripts out there not falling into the right hands and then trash like this gets picked up. Hollywood is starting to become an embarrassment. This did have the potential of being raw and interesting, it's just raunchy and trashy. This may be the simultaneous rise and fall of Lily Rose Depp, that's how bad this is. I would fire her agent and manager and anyone else who suggested she take this role. I feel bad for her. After watching the second episode, I was done.

Desperation at its finest
23 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This has Hollywood over-dramatization written all over it. The black and white with a few pops of color make it look like a high schooler thought of a brilliant never before used method of artistic cinematography, and sadly, this method is old and sophomoric.

The minute I saw an alligator launch itself out of the water to attack Smiths character, I couldn't help but laugh at loud. Just stop. The director must have thought "How can I make this movie instantly more stupid." We cannot take a movie like the horrific indentured servitude in any serious manner when you film a scene like an unprovoked alligator attack. After that I was almost waiting for will smith to cover himself in mud to hide himself from the Predator.

It's like Watching a Car Accident
5 December 2022
I'm giving it 8 stars, only bc I'm a tough critic and this show is so far from "feel good" that it by nature has to lose a star or two.

The character development in this series is absolutely astounding. You personally want to save, hate, love, kill, strangle each and every one of them. In the end you feel victimized and betrayed, and not a single thing happened to you.

The cinematography is breathtaking, and now more than ever I want to visit Sicily.

The storyline is not the most captivating portion of it. It's the characters, the setting, the addictive uncomfortable-ness of it all is what got me coming back for more. It's like a car accident. I want to look away but can't...

Awesome...But British Chick Needs To Go
26 April 2022
This show is my absolute guilty pleasure. I think the overall dynamic and chemistry of the group is mesmerizing and I love each girl for who they are and what they bring to the table.

However, the new girl from London (Chelsey?) needs to get the F-out. I don't know if the producers said their group is too white so they needed to throw in diversity, but she is by far the most annoying personality and I hate everything about her. She reminds me of a catty 12 year old who's still harping over the fact she didn't get a pony for her 5th birthday. I feel dumber watching her and hearing her talk. Please go. PLEASE!!

Another Woke Disaster

An African woman leader in 1012 Scandinavia. How about this...we remake the movie Amistad, and half of the slaves portrayed on the ship are played by white actors. How does that sit? I didn't think so.... Stop with this nonsense, or we will be forced to cast Leonardo DiCaprio as Dr Martin Luther King.

What Did I Just Watch
18 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Marvel. You have outdone yourself. You have created a truly magnificent franchise and completely and utterly spat on any and all talent to make this nightmare of a movie.

I had zero emotional connection to the characters. I didn't care if all of them died at any given moment.

The CGI should be deemed illegal.

Still trying to figure out the story, and if it's good enough for me to care.

Take a poorly executed plot, character development and cgi, and throw in HARRY STYLES of all people at the end, and you have created the perfect concoction of the worse marvel movie made to date.

Great music- but I didn't get the story
21 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I don't even know why I'm admitting that a Disney movie left me confused, but what the heck.

First- the music is top notch. Animation and the use of colors is magical just in itself.

The story- I still don't get it. Magical house gifted to a family who has "specific gifts" and it starts going haywire for a reason I still don't know, and then she like, saves it by singing with different members of her family. There was no quest or anything to get to the resolution. It just...happened. Whatever. My kids liked it, I call that a win.

This hurt my eyeballs
21 December 2021
Before I begin, let me inform you that this film is Netflix's most expensive film to date. Netflix chose this film, of all films to invest in hundreds of thousands of dollars, only for it to be one of the worst movies of the year.

Ryan Reynolds needs to take a hiatus in acting and think long and hard about his career. His character was not only painful to watch, but I felt like his jokes were geared towards 5 year olds. I almost laughed by accident bc it was that bad.

Everything else from the gaps in the plot, and 98% of the story which didn't add up was a train wreck. A continuous showing of this movie would be a useful torture method for POW.

Freakishly Accurate
30 May 2021
The fact that a Brit mastered the very isolated DelCo accent is incredibly impressive. A very small percentage of Philly suburbanites have that accent and she delivered beautifully.

Now onto the actual storyline. It's meticulously crafted and the characters are so well developed you feel as though you're watching your next door neighbor play a part in a TV show. It doesn't scream Hollywood, which gives it such a real feel that you almost forget you're watching a show and not a documentary. The plot was not exaggerated nor was predictable. I enjoyed every minute. This is a job well done.

Someone must have been on crack...
6 May 2021
Great intro. There's depth, mystery, paramount character development, and great cinematography. Add an awesome historic creepy house with the possibility of paranormal activity that also has an Intriguing backstory and you could potentially have a great movie in the making. But no. Someone in Hollywood decided to take the script half way through completion and take a massive dump all over it, hand it off to the illiterate vending machine repair man that works in the building and ask them to finish the story.

That's pretty much the synopsis of the movie.
