The College Admissions Scandal (2019)
Ridiculous judgement - Rich gets Richer
It's so amazing when they say, "ohh it really doesn't matter what school people go to". It does. Ask the VC world. Product, Smart, comes afterwards. First checkbox is "Are you from Stanford, Yale, Harvard etc" if you are, then 99% of the time you get the funding without even evaluating the product or customers. But if you are not from those colleges, it takes a long long time to convince them. Most of them who are not from the colleges don't even get funded. I am talking from personal experience. VC's have these checkboxes. So it's absolutely very important to have a good college behind you even though it's done via paying. But not everyone has $500,000 to do so.
Sarbjit (2016)
Good Movie, but 2 mistakes
Excellent Movie. Great Story, and executed nicely. 2 mistakes: - Aish Rai: Poor acting. If they could have switched Richa Chadda and Aish, Richa would have done a must better acting. It was an excellent role, and good acting would have raised this role to another level. - Too Long. They could have cut it short to 1.5 hours.
2 great things: - Randeep Hooda - Amazing Acting. - Execution of Story to be told.
Songs were not needed, Aish acting as a leader not needed. Richa should have given more time in the movie. She is a good actress. Randeep Hooda could have spent more time on screen. Movie was more about Aish then Sarabjit.
Dharm (2007)
Masterpiece.. Hits hard
I started the movie thinking as a Pankaj Kapur movie, because I love his acting. But the movie gave me chills. This movie is at its best. The end could have being better, but it's still an amazing movie.
It leaves a very strong impact on a person's mind.
It's not regular SRK, Salman stupid movie. It's AMAZING. Not sure why it didn't go to Oscars.
Pankaj Kapur is awesome. All the other actors are also amazing. No overacting, No stupidity.
Watch it if you like non-commercial movies. MUST WATCH for everyone, although most of people may stop the movie in the first half an hour since it's not a "Bollywood" style movie.
