Manhunt (2024)
The actors made it good
Glad they chose British actors in the most important roles, as they are far better drama actors than Americans are. The history is interesting, so that coupled with good actors makes this series a pleasure to watch. Sure there's probably some inaccuracies, but that's usually how it is. There were some time skips back and forth, but not too many so it would be difficult to follow. And since the time skips to the before-days usually included Abe, it wasn't difficult to understand what timeline is going on. The makeup job on the actor who portayed Abraham could have been better, considering he was the only one they needed to masquarade one would have thought they could have went with top quality professionals like the people who transformed Colin in the BAtman.
The Witcher: Blood Origin (2022)
Don't listen to the overreactors
If you just saw the rating of this series and thought you'd skip it because of it, think again. If you click on the rating to see how the rating is divided, currently 46 % of the ratings are 1/10.
Now, if you have kind of analytical skills, you can understand that even if the series was bad, it couldn't be 1/10. If 10/10 is the best movie or series ever, then 1/10 is a home video that had a blurry lens on the whole time.
The voters are overreacting fanboys who can't live with the fact that their precious Witcher isn't exactly as they read orin the books or played in the games.
In reality the biggest minus of the series, is that it's only 4 episodes long. It was far more entertaining that the Rings of Power or Wheels of Time for example and certainly any of the series Disney has come out with recently, barr maybe Andor.
The plot is easily understandable and anyone can understand how it would be related to the Witcher (and in that time), but it's still very entertaining to see it unfold.
The pace is a bit hurried, but otherwise good. The effects are for the most part excellent and the main two actors especially, are very likeable.
This quenched my Witcher thirst so I can go on and wait for the conclusion of Geralts story next year.
Jupiter's Legacy (2021)
Don't judge it by first few episodes
If you go into look at how people have reviewed it, you are bound to see some really low scores. This is partly because of trolls and partly because people judged the series after 1 or 2 episodes. There is much more to the story, so give it at least 4 episodes before you decide anything. I don't know if this is based on some comics, nor do I care. I always judge a movie or series by It's own right and you should too.
