The Last of Us: When We Are in Need (2023)
Season 1, Episode 8
10/10
Holy tears
6 March 2023
Goddamn. Bella Ramsey has just won me over with this episode. I was loving her acting so far, but this episode was just beyond anything I've seen from a 19-year-old. I have no idea how some people think she wasn't the best actress for this role. Completely mesmerized by her performance.

Also, this episode was simply so raw and animalistic. It really depicted what it's like to have to survive with basically no means.

Ended up crying, of course. The ending really was something special. I don't wanna spoil anything, so please just watch it asap.

Cant believe there is only one episode left! It's absolute perfection.

The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)
Season 1, Episode 3

heartbreakingly beautiful.
30 January 2023
This episode had it all. We got to see joel & ellie doing their own thing and being the best at it as usual, but we were also introduced to the most beautiful love story ever shown on television. I cried, i laughed, i cried a bit more. Both of the actors deserve an emmy for their performances. My heart aches for them, but it is so full as well.

I'm so glad the director decided to dedicate almost an entire episode to them & their story. It might look a bit different from the other episodes, but to me, it was so necessary to have one of these. Cant even stop talking or thinking about it! The best episode so far, for sure.

yall know damn well the movie isn't bad
22 September 2022
Listen. I, prior to watching this movie, warned my friends that it might not be that good due to the endless bad reviews i read. Imagine my surprise when the movie ended and all of us just stared at each other with our mouths wide opened. It wasn't bad, it wasn't good, it was GREAT. It kept me on my toes the entire time. Florence always manages to surprise me with her talent, she's absolutely unbelievable. Harry is great as well, especially when showing off sad emotions. Chris even scared me a little bit, amazing! The rest of the cast is incredible as well. But the visuals and the soundtrack, oh man!!! It had a not predictable twist at the end that even gave me anxiety. The story itself is so original and well thought of. Everything was good. The movie is a bit long but i didn't even notice the time pass as my eyes were glued to the screen.

Overall, we all know the reason for the bad reviews. But y'all have to strain away from your personal opinions regarding each actor and watch the movie with an open mind and you'll see how great it actually is.

global warming is NOT a hoax.
10 December 2021
Whoooof, folks. You're in for a ride. Never have i ever seen such a strong metaphor displayed on the big screen. Comet=global warming. Instead of 6 months, we have what, 7 years? It's real. It's going to happen. Just like it did in the movie. And if we don't do anything about it? Don't expect a happy ending.

Get ready to cry your eyes out
10 April 2020
When I tell you you're not ready for this, you're not ready for this. Perhaps one of the most beautiful stories and movies I've ever watched. Superb acting from the main actor, I'm completely mindblown - if he doesn't get nominated for an Oscar, I'm never watching the Oscars again (reminded me of Leo DiCaprio on What's Eating Gilbert Grape). This actor plays a mentally ill father in the most convincing and beautiful way possible. Two words for him: absolutely amazing. Not only is this an extremely sad story that makes us all sob, it is also very inspiring

heartbreakingly beautiful

I've been wanting to read the book for a long long time - i still haven't. i decided to watch the movie anyway without knowing what it was about. the movie itself will make you smile, laugh, and definitely cry if you're an emotional one like me. you'll fall in love with the characters in a blink of an eye, and i'm sure many people can relate to several things those characters are going through. it's absolutely heartbreaking to see the story unfold as you realize what's going to happen, but it still gives a great message at the end

The Aftermath (2019)

nothing really... happened?
5 March 2019
When i read a short description of the movie, I immediately wanted to watch it. the aftermath of the war between the german and the english people, that will be interesting. well... it did not focus on that. this movie had the potential to be such a good movie, but they decided to focus way more on the relationship between the two (maybe three) main characters rather than focusing on that AND the war. don't get me wrong, the actors were really good and their storylines were... cute? adorable? i dont know. I just know that my first thought after the movie ended was "what really happened in this movie?". because you spend the entire two hours waiting for something big to happen, and it never does. However, at the same time, it was not a bad movie. I do realize that my comment here is rather negative, but, like I said, the actors' performance make up for the lack of focus on the real subject of this movie. if you like romantic movies, you'll like this one (even though you might get mad at Keira's character, JUST A WARNING!). but, if you like war movies, don't watch it. you might get (reallyyyyy) disappointed

get ready to cry
4 January 2019
Y'all. i already knew it was going to be a good movie, but it was even better. the songs are so good, their acting is amazing, the storyline is heartbreaking yet beautiful, and lady gaga and bradley cooper's chemistry is out of this world. it's almost as if they weren't actually acting. you'll get many goosebumps throughout the movie, and you'll probably cry. i got super sad, but it is definitely worth the watch.

Before watching it, i was kinda confused as to how they could have possibly made this episode. what do you mean i decide what happens???? but as i kept watching, or playing, i got more and more into it. it is mindblowing. it's so well-thought, finn's performance is out of this world, and as any other black mirror episode, it is just purely incredible. i dont even know what to say. i am amazed.

It's such a good movie y'all. good actores, scenes, sets, storyline. everything is on point. I have also read the book, and I must say that I am so thankful the director of the movie stayed faithful to the book (for the most part). everyone should watch it at least once (i mean, who hasnt??)

predictable, yet good
6 December 2018
Yes, what you think is gonna happen, will happen. yet it doesnt make the movie less good than it is. Lily and Sam's chemistry is great, and you can feel that throughout the entire movie. Their acting is also really good I really liked it, give it a shot.

Heartbreakingly beautiful
6 December 2018
Such an amazing love story. Absolutely broke my heart, yet warmed it at the same time. I heard about this movie years ago, but never got to watch it until now. So glad I did. Sam Claflin is unbelievably talented. I have seen all of the movies he's been in, and I have to say that his performance in this one i just out of this world. Emilia Clarke has great facil expressions. I could feel every single emotion her character was feeling just by looking at her face. Wow. Great movie to watch when you just want to cry your eyes out.

YES YES YES!
18 November 2018
Everyone is entitled to having an opinion, but dont listen to the bad reviews! I went to the movie theater with high expectations, and it was even better than I thought it would be! Actors are GREAT (Ezra Miller is a GOD!), and I absolutely loved the plot. Honestly, I was more entertained with this one than the first one! Besides, OMG I love that little plant!

Yes, everything that you think will happen, happens. Very predictable, of course, but at the same time I really enjoyed it! It's a fun, relaxing movie.

the movie is not as bad as everyone is making it seem to be
30 October 2018
Okay let's be real here for a second. most people that rated this a 1/10 only did it because they are pissed logan paul is in it. guess what, his personal life has nothing to do with the movie itself. it is not great, but it is not bad. overall, a good movie with a good plot. i dont know what you guys were expecting from a disney-style type of movie with disney actors. but it is definitely not a 1. you'll be entertained, and although it is very predictable, there are some unexpected scenes that make you bite all your nails off.

cannot get tired of it
10 October 2018
My all time favorite show, probably because i started watching it at such a young age. i am rewatching it for the forth time now (yes, forth time) and i still cry, laugh, or get mad, even though i know exactly what's gonna happen. 100% recommend if you like vampires, werewolves, witches, etc. you'll fall deeply in love with some characters (cough cough damon and klaus cough cough) and believe me, you won't want it to end (i refuse to accept that it's over). love it!

amazed
10 October 2018
Honestly really liked it! After watching the first episode I was like "meh this is okay i guess" but, as i kept on watching, it got more and more addictive! not your typical teen show i guess. seen a lot of people comparing it to riverdale, but i feel like this is way better written and the actors are incredible! their performances blew my mind! it really feels like youre part of the show and going through what they are all going through! besides, it's always fun to try to figure out who the killer was. and, honestly, it could've been anyone!!
