Maanaadu (2021)
Brilliant script and flawless execution
The film is brilliantly written. The core idea is simple and can have infinite possible outcomes. Throughout the film the events tickles our brain cells and engaging till last minute. A must watch.
Maanagaram (2017)
Too many coincidences
The story of the film is based on too many coincidences which is impossible to happen in a big city like chennai. The cab driver and employee come to the same flyover where kidnappers are waiting for ransom. The kid exactly pops up in front of the heroines home at the right time. These are few examples. The movie is full of these kind of incidents without which the story can't progress. Scrip wrtier needs to use more imagination to avoid this.
Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte (2020)
Worth a watch
This film sarcastically expose the sense of fake morality in our society. The chaos occuring when your best kept secrets are exposed to everyone around you is shown in a hilarious way. Good acting and music.
Forensic (2020)
Breath taking!!!
One of the most thrilling movie I have watched recently. It has all the elements for a perfect psycho thriller. Use of good minute forensic details to solve crimes is also included impressively in this film.
Who (2018)
Non sense
If you watch a German movie without subtitles you will understand more than what you can understand from this movie. Utter nonsense
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Real test of patience
The movie was not at all enjoyable. There are lots of events but everything was lagging and lagging.Lots of scenes where people simply roam around in cars, making meaningless conversations, use of narrations when the flow of the story was lost and a chaotic ending. Margot's character was very small and not even relevant to the plot. The movie clearly doesn't live up to the hype. Really struggled to complete the movie.
Badla (2019)
Climax spoiled the entire movie
Was enjoying this movie till the end and then the non sense at the end to make it more dramatic but made it pathetic. When Naina is going to dump the body and find out that the boy is alive, why should she still kill him? To put herself in trouble so that the story can progress ? Also it is hard to digest how a hotel employee can put on makeup and wig and become intelligent like the lawyer (Badal Gupta) naturally?
Lucifer (2019)
Fallen victim for paid promotions
This movie is nothing special. Same old hero villan story filled with unnecessary star cast and heavy bgm. The slow motion fights where the hero just have to stand and move his hands here and there so that villans will come and take the hit. Scenes in France, Russia etc which is no way related to story line and only intented to create a mass atmosphere. And the worst of all, the famous Ezikiel 25:17 is translated in Malayalam and used . Can't even think of a new dialogue. Very dissapointing from Murali Gopi who has done some exceptional works like LRL. If you can digest things which doesn't make sense, you can go for this movie. All the paid promos and reviews made me watch this movie which lack a strong story and quality.
