Time Lapse (2014)

Brilliant 'Inception' like concept!

The first half of the movie is not so appealing but as soon as the gang find out about the secret next door, it keeps the viewer at the edge of the seat. Personally, I found this movie extremely underrated and to be in-lines of Inception (kind of). Just like Inception had to be watched 2-3 times to decoded, Time Lapse does the same thing. The concept is brilliant to say the least. Actors did a fair job, not too great though. I believe this movie could have been even better, but for the script. If you are looking to put your mind to a meaningful use for around 1 hour, this is surely your thing!

Gone Girl (2014)

Rosamund Pike, you beauty! The mind of pure genius!

Shaken, Engrossed, Appalled, Disturbed, Marvelled and Amazed, these are some of the adjectives that I felt during the course of this movie. Wow! What a masterpiece of acting by Rosamund Pike. I haven't seen a better display bod female domination. She is evil, sharp, strong and pursuasive, all at the same time. I could not stop applauding myself on her subtle grey gestures. She planned a perfect plot in this movie effortlessly and had the others gasping for their breathes!! The whole movie revolves around her and never for even a second does she disappoints. The former bond girl could not have done anything better in her role.

A superb thriller that does not loses momentum for the entire length. Fasten your seat belts and get ready for a 'perfect murder' or is it?!

Heart filled masterpiece!

I had no idea what I was going to watch except for the fact that it would be some kind of inspirational movie inspired by true events. Well, by the time I was done watching it, I had tears in my eyes, smile at my face and a prayer in my heart! This movie shows what a true attitude can do for oneself. Talent and money isn't everything. If one believes that one is putting one's heart and soul in a project, God will take care of the rest. The acting is flawless and every character has done a remarkable job in keeping the viewer engaged for the entire length of the movie. A soulful, family movie in these times is very rare and this is one of such gems!! I recommend everyone of you to watch it and experience God's way of enlightenment.

PS: Had I known basics of Robotics, I would have rated it 10 on 10!

Whiplash (2014)

Music makes revenge into synergic Triumph!

When I went to see this movie I just knew that this one will be a story of a music enthusiast trying to make his way up. I had no idea what 'Jazz' music was and I was unaware of all the jargon used in the band. I won't give much of the storyline in this write-up, but it is surely one of the best movies I was ever watched, ever! I was clentching my fist all the while, when the 'perfect' music was demanded by the bald headed music aficionado from his team. This movie has three stages: The guts to fight it out, the payback time and the ultimate synergic win! I just loved how this movie transpired to be so real yet so alluring at the same time. The acting was as good as it can be. The movie builds up a tempo and never for a minute bogs down. 106 minutes of pure, exhilarating entertainment. It has emotions, anger, despair, revenge and yet, it all ends in a supposedly triumphant journey.

Long story short, Whiplash will blow your mind off! Phew ... genuine legend!

Roy (2015)

Roy gets you a sound sleep in the theatre!

You will have lots of expectations from the movie but it would shatter the whole logical sense in a jiffy! I simply did not expect Ranbir and Rampal to be a part of such a mess. This movie is one of the Top 5 worst movies ever made in Bollywood in my view. Spend your time at better things in life. Even a sedentary Analysis job won't be so torturous as this awful bollywood crap was. Awful! It's high time that the respected actors like Rampal and Ranbir do justice to their audience and stop being a part of such a non sense piece of creativity. I slept, did Facebook and went to the loo for around as long as I remember during this show. I wish I can get back my 147 minutes back that I wasted in watching this whole pile of $%&+!!
