A Powerful Retelling of West Side Story!
14 December 2021
What a beautiful remake that builds upon the foundations of the original. As a huge fan of the 1961 version, I was very skeptical of the remake, but Spielberg did an excellent job revising it! The film was absolutely exquisite from the acting, singing and dancing. And of course the cinematography was immaculate. There was so much more depth to María and Tony in this version. The entire cast gave stellar performances. I could keep praising it. Overall, I loved every second of West Side Story.

A Beautiful Show!
21 September 2021
Poldark is an absolutely beautiful show in all aspects! From the beginning, I fell completely in love with the story, characters, and scenery. The series is based on the first 6 of 12 Poldark novels by Winston Graham, and it follows Ross Poldark who has just returned from the American Revolution to a horrible state of affairs back in England. The story continues by following Ross' escapades.

All the characters are magnificently written and all the cast give outstanding performances. I can undoubtedly say that this show is my favorite period drama. Today it is so hard to find tv that is not filled with filth and trash. However, Poldark is a breath of fresh air in every way.

After finishing the show, I didn't feel like leaving the word of Poldark, so I started reading the books. The books are just as interesting and griping as the show if not more. The books explore deeper into the thoughts and actions of the characters. Overall, I ardently recommend both the show and books!

"Not all that is gold sparkles"
25 February 2020
This review basically covers my thoughts on the entire trilogy... How can I put into words the sheer magnificence of this film let alone the trilogy as a whole? My journey with these films began back in 2016 when I was 15, and I had no idea what an impact they would have on me. To start off, the translation from the book to screen is marvelous! Every little aspect is perfection - the characters, world building, Howard Shore's score, cinematography, and the moral of the story. This movie/trilogy is truly the definition of good film making. Every actor and actress did an outstanding job of portraying their role. Tho "Return of the King" won 11 Oscar and, I still cannot believe it was not nominated for best actor!? These films are diamond compared to all the "cash grabs" that fill theaters. "Lord of the Rings" will forever be one of my favorites and go on to be a timeless classic.

They don't make them like this anymore....
13 October 2019
This is one of the most beautiful and heartwarming films. It it such a wonderful, clean movie that the family can enjoy together. I'm not a huge fan of Hallmark movies, but this one stands out from all of them, and it is one of my favorite movies. It is not a cookie cutter film that Hallmark cranks out, but it is a unique story of love, forgiveness, and patience. All the performances were sensational and not your average cheesy HM movie performance. I wish the movie industry would make more movies like this one. Do yourself a favor and watch this.

Band of Brothers is a MUST WATCH!!!!
5 February 2019
If you want a highly accurate depiction of the European theatre during WW2 this is the ticket! Band of Brothers gives you a astonishing view into the missions of Easy Company.

I really appreciate how much work and detail was put into this miniseries from the cast to the script and music. It is near perfection for me!

It is astounding what these men went through to keep us free. I come away feeling that I have a greater understanding and appreciation for my freedom which was not earned at an easy price! CONCLUSION: GO WATCH IT!

The Good Doctor (2017–2024)
Such a inspiring show! Don't understand the bad reviews.
9 October 2017
The Good Doctor is so amazing and inspiring! The show carries a beautiful positive message. Telling us no matter how hard life can be there's always something to be happy about. We need more TV shows like This Good Doctor.

I don't understand all the negativity from all the IMDb reviews. People may hate this show, but I love it!

Freddie Highmore brings an amazing performance, and the rest of the cast are great. I look forward to seeing what the show brings in the future!

What An Incredible Movie
1 October 2017
It is such an incredible movie with amazing actors, and the battle scenes are so realistic, it may be considered too mature for some audiences. The story told though the main character as he struggles and suffers for his belief but never wavers is a truly inspiring tale. Even more so because its true, every bit is true, they even had to leave some things out of the movie because they knew people wouldn't believe it actually happened. His heroic actions in the end of the movie was so moving my sister and I were pride crying. Yes that's actually a thing. Anyway, its movie with a fantastic story line. Would definitely recommend it as one of my top rate movies of all time.

An Amazing Adaptation to a Timeless Classic
26 May 2017
I fell in love with this show from the first episode. Everything about it is amazing! The acting is superb, the cinematography is breathtaking, and the music is beautiful in every scene. Amybeth McNulty portrays Anne beautifully, Marilla (Geraldine James) and Matthew (R.H.Thomson) are perfect. R.H. Thomson played Jasper Dale on "Road to Avonlea". It was nice to see a familiar face. Geraldine James does an outstanding job as Marilla. Over all I couldn't be more happy. Compared to the original "Anne of Green Gables" it definitely has a more historically correct view on how orphans were treated and their environment. The original has a lighthearted feel to it as the new one has more of (for lack of a better word) a darker tone. I can't believe I'm saying this but I like the new one better than the original. I feel it gives a compelling story with a new twist. It does for the most part stay true to the original story line though. I grew up with the original and still love it, but to all those who are purest, please keep an open mind to "Anne With an E". I'm sure you will love it as much as me!
