Dragged Across Concrete (2018)
Waste of talent
The writing was terrible, the dialogue was boring and the editing confusing.
The actors were trying hard but the material just wasn't there.
The main criminal's behavior for collecting money to buy an armored van made no sense. The way he was going about it would take months to years and he'd end up killing hundreds by then or till he was caught. He robs convenience stores and individuals for money to buy an armored vehicle he didn't even need.
The scenes of the detectives needing money were heavy handed and ham fisted.
The movie showed us an alarming domestic violence situation only for the character we see in it to have her head blown off 3 min later and no resolution to that situation. Why show us the previous situation at all?
Overall a real waste of acting talent.
The Little Things (2021)
Only half a movie
Great cast, solid acting and interesting plot unfortunately it's only half of a movie. As things start to get interesting the movie ends in an unexpected way.
Could have been a great movie had they had more of a plot.
Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (2019)
Only half the story here
Great set ups for some interesting adventures but unfortunately the episodes end right when things are just getting interesting every. Single. Time.
In the regular Jojo series there's always an aspect of mystery when you encounter an enemy for the first time. The heroes use their wits and always manage to figure out the mystery eventually. This same mystery is present in this series here but the mystery is never solved.
All episodes are one offs and their stories are never addressed again after each episode. This makes each episode feel like the 1st half of a story only.
Channel Zero (2016)
One of the best TV horror shows ever
I've watched a lot of TV horror, A LOT! I was pleasantly surprised by the first season of Channel Zero, very creepy and unsettling atmosphere. I've so far seen all the seasons and though I like some more than others they were all very good. They have great atmosphere and I love the initial mystery of all the stories. Where the series falls short is in the reveal and endings, they seem unsatisfactory or incomplete. Still this series is worth your time if you're a sci fi or horror fan. I'm disappointed the show was cancelled, no doubt it will become a cult classic series.

6 Underground (2019)
I couldn't watch this mess
Imagine every kind of montage you can: origin montage, backstory montage, team up montage. This film is 100% montage. The editing and fast edits made this movie unbearable to watch and I only made it 1/3 of the way through.
La influencia (2019)
Cliche filled and not scary at all
I have to admit I shut this off halfway through because I just could not any more. Everything in the movie up till the point I turned it off was cliche laden, boring crap and I called the ending even though I didn't see the ending. Don't waste your time with this movie.
Bird Box (2018)
One bad decision after another
This movie is frustrating, I wanted to love it so much after being disappointed with "A Quiet Place". Unfortunately it's another brainless movie where the main characters keep making stupid decisions. The decision that brings them to the main obstacle they have to overcome was contrived.
If not for the copious amounts of plot armor protecting all the characters this movie would've ended halfway.
Clash of the Titans (2010)
Big dumb American movie for the big dumb public
I regret seeing this film, after months of anticipation and much love for the original this new version was an utter disappointment. Sure it has much better production and special effects (by far) but at some serious lack of plot/character development/suspense.
I found I didn't care about any of the characters, not even Perseus himself. There were some plot changes and no longer is there the comedy relief owl "Bubo". However Bubo did make an odd cameo which highlights the laziness of the screenwriters.
The new version lacks everything that made the original a great movie: charm, suspense and mythology.
